made this a year ago and was saving for a BOTM to enter it in but instead we got trebuchets and anime.

weighs in the 1600kgs. kickstand and front wheel are both on servos and can pivot. 0 combat ability. probably can still beat the snot outta 90% of IRL bots.

UPDATE: my ra2 beyblade tournament has this set of new rules.

Meltybrain and shells allowed.
Bot has to look beyblade like. I’ll be a be a bit lenient on this regard as it is hard to make one of these.
Flatmotor allowed
Flex top arena. Hazards off. (I think that means no flex.)
Weapon spam permitted as Beyblades look spammy.
Superbot AI’s
Double elimination.
Edit: Ro7 break allowed plus realistic motor+chassis intersection.
Edit 2: dsc component pack allowed.
sorry triple edit: custom arena would be preferable to flex top.

I can’t ai no matter how long I try... but I have an idea that I posted in the chat box 2 seconds ago!
Beyblades: DSL-IRL. Bot has to look beyblade ish. Flatmotor allowed. Weapon spam allowed because some beys look weapon spammy. Arena: custom arena resembling a beystadium. Weight class: heavyweight
Edit: bot has to act somewhat like a bey too. Which means only meltybrains are allowed.
Double edit: double elimination.

I have a question. What is your stance toward Serge's Component Freedom mods? It seems like a large number of bots in the DSL showcase are built with this. Is Component Freedom generally tournament-legal now so long as the end product looks IRL?
If so, how do you deal with externally-attached batteries falling off and crashing the game?
Actually, I have two questions. There is also this section:
Any skirts placed on metal or skirt hinges must have a “dustpan” system to support them, or they will be denied.
What about Biohazard or Final Destiny-style skirts?
You might also consider putting a list of all the restrictions (and ONLY the restrictions) at the start, and put your justifications in a separate section, so it is easy for players to check what is and isn't allowed. The current document looks like something people will skim.
I admire the effort to standardize IRL rules, even if it seems futile.
1. I think cf mods the game not to crash when batts fall off somehow. 2. Skirts should be allowed, period. They don’t look that unrealistic. EDIT/DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion. You are entitled to your opinion.

Somebody, if possible, you have to get the announcer guy- I forget his name, he’s the guy who introduces the bots- to reference GTM.
Do it for science.
