Another build that took way too long, but finally, here is the upgraded Absolute Zero: a tanky vert with a heart of ice.

This is probably just my laptop being poor but christ the lag in the gameplay is strong, even though the graphics default setting is low. And yeah I tried to make a flipper only to not find a burst for flippers, but the graphics and physics are clean as hell.

I'm gonna risk sounding like a d*** in this response but I don't think it's fair he pays for replicas that have been made free for everyone to use. I reckon dozens of people have the replica pack already so if he already has them then it would be unfair if he payed for them reps and everyone else didn't have to.

Any chance I can get some back pay for my replicas that you've already got?
that's a tough call considering you didn't build those replicas directly for me, you built them for yourself.
I'm willing to negotiate though if you're serious about this.
I think I asked ages ago how much would I have to pay to get all the replicas he has made.

ok, it seems that i am getting to finish it. the only thing lacking it's a proper walking system. (Image removed from quote.)
Can I make a suggestion that if you have discord you PM someone or join the GTM discord server and make progression in there. Leave the finished product for the replica showcase otherwise we are gonna have an entire page dedicated to just one build.

I made a checklist a while back of all UK series competitors and planned to go through that list as much as possible. I will see what I have and what I can do.

Demise. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Actually really like this. Because of how overpowered typhoon spinners and wedglet rammers are you really see true brit-style flippers, makes a nice change.

i'm going to replace that tab with glue. it was just a placeholder to keep it together for the photo. also i still have to tweak some stuff. first it lacks weapons, second i inverted the weapon slots (the little black rectangle should be on the right while the bigger one on the left), and third the paper model it's too little, need to print it bigger. anyway, guessed what is that bot?
Well it's obvious it's Guzunderbot

So...since yesterday I have downloaded loads of motor models and thought I would try and put a robot together built around said motors. I recreated my DSL robot "Azure" starting from the drive motors, creating a bar and adding a custom belted motor. I also this time around made sure the bar had better supports, meaning the supports have their own supports to hold them up.

(Image removed from quote.) I know this is probably a bit off topic since this is not a RA2 replica. But i wanted to post it anyway. Still not finished yet. Got some stuff wrong and lacks weaponry.
That's pretty neat. I used to do a lot of card modelling myself but instead of tabs I used a hot glue gun. Would've been nice if there was a tab for the top and not the random bit of tape on show.

Isn't that a Valkyrie disc from RWRA2?
It's an "Inertia Disc (Large)" but I reskinned it a lighter blue
How did you manage to bring an RWRA2 part into DSL?
I didn't do this in DSL. I have a version of the game which has every mod into one, including some of my own components. The razer wheels used at the back were made be HereticBlue but the motor and disc I tinkered with myself.

As an IRLfag, I might give this a go
You should honestly switch to the DSL2.1 meta, suits you well

Looks like you've tacked on a disc to a flipper chassis
Thanks for the idea boomer, interchangable Midnight.
It's just gonna look wrong you know
In what way?

The weapon supports look really flimsy. This might work for a low weightclass, but the weapon will most likely fall off from a good horizontal impact.
I will probably revise this within the next few days then and give the disc supports additional supports. Probably also beef up the wheel guards while I'm at it too.

So I made quite a few CAD's in the beginning of January and today decided to get back into CAD designs after a two month break. So, I looked back at my DSL showcase and noticed a spinner called "Midnight", so made a big chunky vert in CAD and recreated Midnight.

Pretty much everyone who uses DSL 2.2 uses Component Freedom so yeah, that should work fine

Cool bot and all, but
The two people that chose the middle clickable are disgusting. Whoops.
