Had a spare couple hour or so this evening so I completely rebuilt my old Bite Force replica in DSL, missing some detail and the logo as I'm having some technical problems with the skinned components but I'm really happy with the shape!

With Battlebots Season 3 being given the go ahead I felt the itch to dive back into replica building a little and so completely rebuilt Hellachopper in DSL with proper motors and hinged hammers (As glitchy as they are). Side note: I really miss building replicas, I've got so many unused reskins/textures and designs for building the remaining reboot bots but I've sadly just not had the time to put anything new together in months, which is disappointing as it's what brought me onto this forum in the first place. Perks of being an adult ay?

Absolutely delighted to be put into the Heat with the lowest seeds and the giant Tentomushi robot. Not looking forward to the two flippers, but here's hoping that Lobstertastic can pull off at least one win.
You're also up against the winner of the New Blood...undefeated so far...maybe a lobster will pinch it's undefeated streak away?
Guess who forgot about that.
And the second runner-up of the New Blood who's niche is KOing hammerbots and being a lucky mushboi Kidding aside, this is a really bad heat for Mushi... please be gentle.

First qualifying video was good fun as always Orc! Sad to see some really good looking bots like Ryu and Girl Power not get in, maybe future years could incorporate a “discretionary place” system for good bots that fall at the first hurdle. Or even a side event for bots that failed to qualify?

LOL Mouldy, I love it! - QUARANTINE ZONE 2 - Streamlined QZ to be less artsy and more tryhard. Had originally entered this into the OW2 qualifiers but have since removed it so I figured I may as well showcase it here instead of letting it rot in my bot designs folder. (Even if it is a genericshellspinner.bot) Weight: 794.9 Weapon Motor: Dual Perm 132 Gearbox Drive Motor: x2 TWM3R2 (Drive) Power: x2 E Battery - Long

So do I merge the folders?
Yes, merge the two folders and if you are asked to replace any existing files then do so.

Do I just put the folder and the text documents in the component folder?
Yes! You need to copy and paste the "tanto" folder and all of the text documents from the downloaded "Components" folder into the "Components" folder of the game and then do the same with the "Robot Designs" folder.

- PREDAPLANT 2 (HW) - Complete rebuild of the Venus Flytrap back to a similar setup I had in the first build but with some serious upgrades! Thanks to Badnik's disc covers I could reduce the weight down considerably and spend that gained amount on stronger extenders as well as a more supportive chassis. Also glowing eyes because it looks funnier. Just a shame I didn't have enough weight to do anything about the beta motor out the back...

Really appreciate all the replies I've had on here. Thank you! :) <3 I lovw how you wasted 20 kg for the airtanks. it's so beautifull
Took massive inspiration from your bot Rejector <3 I hope this is being put in Deathmatch.
I hadn't planned on entering it mainly because it's super fragile, although I could so long as people are okay with a 3 burst flipper. quickly threw this together
what
I should probably mention (to make me sound a lot less of a bell) that it's literally my old Chomp replica with a slightly different shape. Hence it was quick to put together because I'd already built the same thing prior lol.

Cartharsis is really well built, as others have said I think the pointed pontoons are really cleverly made!
The axebot has a nice design to it, I like the eyes lol

It looks well built just like a lot of your bots, does it have a flamethrower? The only part bugging me is the triangle pieces behind the wedge look a little janky but that’s being really picky.
Really like Sharkbait too! :)

CW Wedge Flipper. Need to reposition the batteries as they're colliding with the VDMA's.

Wow I didn't think Outbreak would be able to hit Zeta let alone get a KO. GTMCS has been great fun so far, surprisingly enjoying the Ironforge fights too!

That's just about perfect. Awesome job, man.
Also, Grim Reaper did compete in Season 5.0 of BattleBots, so it is technically a BB replica :D
Oh really? Lol that worked out better than intended! :) Thanks man

Been a long time since I posted any replicas, my progress has halted slightly until my component skinning skills get to a decent level and my time away from replica building has left me a little rusty. For now anyway, here's an unskinned non-Battlebots robot; Grim Reaper.

The gaps annoy me too but you can't put wedge edges on the edge of triangle pieces so there's nothing I can do about it unfortunately
That’s a shame, I suppose there’s not enough weight to pull some extender trickery? We’ll take DC’s suggestion and call it ventilation. Side note; I like VS a few posts up too.

Looks well thought out, pretty compact and solidly put together! Aesthetically, the colour scheme works well although if I had to have a minor nitpick it would be the tiny gaps at the top between the triangle pieces, is there enough space/weight to fill with a wedge edge piece?

- SUB-MISSION IMPOSSIBLE - Envisioned as "Submarine Chomp", just quickly threw this together to reconfigure myself with RA2 as I haven't had much time to build this last month or so. I'm really not keen on the colour scheme...
