Beware the depths... Quite happy with the way this bot came out, especially the anchor and skin. It's sh** in combat, but it's an axe, what do you expect?

Good start for me. Twisted Fate was one of the few opponents TF2 faced that truly worried me. Hopefully the speed doesn't screw me over this tourney though.
ReVoltage getting a win is also nice, but there's not much to comment on with its fight given it was unaired.

idk if there's anyone here who could be bothered anymore, unfortunately
I think there's a Battlebots-skinned version of the Robogames arena floating around that might help flippers do something though. I've been using it for a while for stock matches and it works fine.
No hazards, but it has BB-like ring-out zones (though they don't instantly eliminate robots)
Someone managed to fix that, idk who it was.
FaceBagman did for his tourney iirc

The power of nu metal compels you! Yep, I made a not-box. Be proud. Spinner is powered by a Perm 132, srimech is a short VDMA, drive is 2 NPCF.

it is 100% safe to use. it won't break your computer or your game.
Been using it for about an hour now, from SketchUp to Blender to game to Photoshop and I cannot vocalise how amazing this is. I can't believe I never tried this before!
I'm assuming that due to irregular geometry that OBJ'ing .bots for tournaments isn't allowed, right?
It's perfectly legal. Kix, Tashic, Badnik, and I have all entered tourneys with OBJ bots

Gold with black flipper or purple with gold flipper seem like the best options

in regards to buffing motors, most of the current motors aren't capable of hitting their actual max speeds with anything besides small vert setups. as such, I wouldn't increase the max speed, if anything, I would drop it on things like perms as a trade off for more torque. in theory it would make wedgeless spinners like offset hs and nightmare style vs slightly more useable (although you can argue if this is a good thing), while also nerfing gutripper spin speed.
tbh though, i wouldn't bother for now. at least not until we can agree on a flat change
and yes I know that means you could use some of them as drive motors, but tbh they're always going to be less efficient than npc fasts with 48 torque
Tbh if anyone wants to try perm rammers they can go right ahead as long as great f*ck off verts work as intended
