Here is my latest project: Mastermind - meant to be a brain in the jar kinda theme!
I don't get how literally everything you make is so good.

You're just being nice! Thank you though!

Oh boy. Quickly becoming my favourite showcase here.

That is one heck of a compliment! Thank you so much, I'll try and keep it up!

Looks very creative, I shall lurk more.

Thank you very much!

now that's something you don't see every day

very unique, i like it

Thank you very much! I like to try new things out and see if they work. :')

Here's two more bots I've made!

This is Spider, not the most creative name but I just wanted to try out an arachnid-like design.

This is Humanity: I wanted to make a robot with a gimmick that occured while it battled: presenting its mask. As Humanity battles, it can take battle damage to the mask, losing bits of it to reveal the face underneath. It is a bit glitchy but I am very pleased with how it came out!

(Also if you can guess the WRESTLER that inspired Humanity, you get a cookie...although it is probably quite obvious.  )

yo your sh**s mad dope
That is so whacky but i love it
dude all your stuff is so unique and interesting keep it up man
Its so unique :heart_smiley:
Loving all the character that each of your bots show
this is what happens when you take banter wars creativity and add GTM and DSL 2.2

good sh**

Wow, thank you everyone! All your comments made my day/night and I'm still buzzing to the point that I got to work on the 2nd version of Chariot right away to show you all!

So it is a brand new bot, the dinosaur thing is the main chassis pulling the chariot itself.  I'm probably gonna make some tweaks to it, including changing the armour as well as possibly changing the drive motors.

aww was expecting a boar chariot but i guess a tiny lizard thingy works too, just wish that thing was larger

some top quality stuff here though

Thank you very much! The animal pulling the chariot will be the main chassis in the new version and it could very well be a boar  ;) I'm just seeing what people suggest so I'll take that idea on board!

i really like monstargh! you could definitely do those right angles on the wheelguards using the square extenders though, which would make them look a lot better

bot lesnar needs its disc lower to the ground and also some support for the mag motor

Thanks bud, I'll get to work on those changes!
A lot of creativity in here.

Thank you very much!

Here's something else I've put together: Chariot!

There are a few issues with this robot (can't drive too well, chassis mistakes and ideas I had while making it that would be too problematic to incorporate into this version) I plan to make a second version that incorporates these changes in the next few days. I just figured I'd show you all this version so you could compare when the other is done.

I was right about the pony bot being built by Apenx! But moving on, I was not expecting both Neon and the Orc corp to be in this BOTM to be honest. I didn't even have a clue about number 2 even when I was critiquing it, but it's good first BOTM entry from the Orc, better than mine if you ask. As for the later user or number 6, I honestly thought that someone like TGM made this one, due to the poor editing of the splash like the poor cropping around the bot. But  since he doesn't build in Ironforge, I didn't know.

But congratulations 09 on your BOTM victory.

Thank you! I'll be rebuilding it as I did make it very last minute but I think the idea could work effectively!

First time leaving my thoughts on BOTM...so here we go! I forgot I commented on one a month or so back...derp.

1. Not a massive fan of the splash, hard to read but the robot looks alright.
2. Weird design. I'm not really sure what else to say. Splash looks alright.
3. The heck is this?! Splash is suiting to the text.
4. Weird but interesting design. Splash suits the theme.
5. Splash is pretty cool but like number 3: the heck is this?!
6. Robot looks alright, I like the hammer. Splash looks alright.

I have no idea who entered what. XD

Tantrusk is fantastic. The angle connectors look really out of place though, how come you can't swap them with the IRL extender angles?
Maybe aestethics?

In that case, the steel extenders and angles would be fine to match the iron spikes.

Those three bots look pretty great. The themes you come up with are awesome.

One slight gripe is that some of the extender work on Carapace is a little messy (looking at the orange extenders just sort of balanced on the front), but that can be cleaned up pretty easily with angle extenders to connect to the blue ones.

Thank you very much, that means a lot! I've changed that part of Carapace a bit, I do believe it looks better now (as seen below!) I also looked at Tantrusk but I do prefer the extenders that it was already: think they stand out a bit more. :)

So, some updates and some robots I forgot to add last time! I added a tongue to Cobra as TGM suggested (it moves too!) which also makes it a Heavyweight now.

I changed parts of Carapace, including the teeth, the orange parts at the front and the back panel! It is now a Heavyweight too!

Now for the two robots I forgot to add last time: first up is Monstargh, my new Super Heavyweight entry for DemonOfTomorrow/Doot's latest tourney!

Lastly comes a robot some of you may be familiar with if you've seen my Stock showcase/know me from Banter Wars: this is a DSL version of my robot Bot Lesnar! It is very different but I wanted to give it the trademark "uppercut fist" thing the Stock version has. It is a weird design!

Thank you for reading/giving feedback! :D

Not much I can say that I haven't already said. You're getting really good at creating these super aesthetically pleasing bots. Your animal ones are particularly good. Really like Crocognaws and Tantrusk. Carapace kinda reminds me of if Sunshine Lollibot was actually effective looking. Only change I'd suggest is swapping out the wheels on Carapace and maybe dropping the chassis armour to try and get it within the heavyweight limit as it might be slightly lacking in weaponry for a superheavyweight

Thank you, I'll try and make those changes to Carapace!

Scrolin back...
It's Snek! I luv it!
Add the tounge tho!

Never thought of a tongue, I'll see what I can do! :D

Thanks a lot! I started using IRL extenders after I made Tantrusk, I'll see what I can do with those now!

An update with some more robots! First up is Crocognaws...I don't have to say what it is based on, do I?  That aside, it replaced my previous HW entry into DemonOfTomorrow/Doot's current contest!

Next up is Tantrusk...it's based on an elephant! I really liked the idea I had for Cobra and wanted to incorporate it into another animal themed robot...an elephant's trunk was the first thing that came into my mind!

Lastly for today is my first attempt at an extenderbot, Carapace! I was inspired by TheRoboteer's extenderbot and wanted to make my own! I consulted him for advice and I'm quite happy with how it turned out!

As always, any advice/thoughts/etc are appreciated! Thank you! :D

That's pretty cool and bright.  Have you looked at the Anthro team from IF?

Thank you: it's a Middleweight at 394.4kg.

I have not really looked at Ironforge at all!

pretty cool! i like the eyes made out of the extender bits

Thank you Badnik! I'm pretty happy how it turned out myself ^_^

So I was inspired by several things (including Snake from Battlebots) to make a snake robot that actually twists and turns! I rather like how it turned out!

819
I don't really know if I do want to enter more weight divisions. I mean, I have a Middle-weight in the works, but it isn't ready and I'm unsure about entering it. But I'll see what I can do in the other weight divisions if you wish DOOT, while I work on some other bots.

There's no deadline so you've got time to work on the middleweight! Entering the other divisions helps the tournament progress quicker and hey, it's for fun! My AW is pathetic but I'm looking forward to seeing it fight! I'd love to see what you would make for the other weight classes too.

Here's another bot. This one is a Cruiserweight successor to my Annihilation Nation entry Subterfuge. Since it's the successor to Subterfuge I figured I should give it a somewhat related name, so this is Insurrection

Changes from Subterfuge include:

  • Perm 132 weapon motor instead of perm 80
  • Full-size Minion disc instead of a mini one
  • Steel front wedge and Titanium sides rather than Aluminium front and Polycarb sides
  • New larger chassis to accommodate larger components
  • Angled 'spinner killer' pieces on the front wedge

Works pretty damn well. May enter it in a tournament at some point if anything requiring Cruiserweights pops up. Weight of the bot is 596.7KG and the armour is Pl5. Pics below:

Exterior:
(Image removed from quote.)

Interior:
(Image removed from quote.)

Would look better with the chassis a bit shorter but the weapon motor already pokes out of the top of the bot ever so slightly. All in all pretty happy though, though any feedback you have to improve it is more than welcome.

Now that is a badass looking robot right there. I really think the blue/black look is your style, suits you!
