I mean, of course I am going to enter. Duh.
Is BFE'd 180 degree bursts permitted for axes?
Sorry to mess you around man, had to keep up the illusion for a little while longer! XD Yep, that should be fine! Awesome! I might enter. Also, do verticle and horizontal spinners count as seperate weapons?
Nope: verts/horiz/drums all count as a spinner, same with front/rear hinge flippers I wish you the best of luck with this. I won't be entering as I retired from RA2. On a sidenote: I'm working on a real live version of a former OW bot of mine in the formof Ryu/Ryu Kishin (without the spinners) for a potential entry in Bugglebots series 3.
Understood, thank you for your awesome contribution to OW: your bots made for some great entries! Can't wait to see Ryu Kishin IRL! As for everyone else, glad people are hyped: I'm looking forward to hosting again!

Did someone say..."Showtime"? Oh yes, we're back for Series 4! A fair amount has changed so let's take a look! QUALIFICATION: Every person can submit 3 robots for OW4.
- Each person will have one entry locked in for the main series of OW4 (unless all 3 entries break the rules) People can request which entry they would like to lock in but I'll discuss it with every person. Can't have everyone lock in a spinner straight away can we?
- Once this stage has passed, I will let people submit their second entry for qualifiers. Same as before, win your battle and you're through.
- If we have any spots left open then we'll look at 3rd entries and unlucky robots in qualifying to fill these spots!
FORMAT: BB18 format with big changes. - 96 robots which are split into 3 tiers.
- Orc Tier - The 16 seeds plus 16 robots either known as veterans that have proved themselves in series before or robots that did extremely well in qualifiers (Eyes On Me, Ursula)
- Ogre Tier - Robots that are exactly that: middle of the field. (F3, Pocari)
- Goblin Tier - Bottom of the barrel, typical newcomer bots, meme/joke bots (Nogoodnik, Darwinian Predator)
- Each robot will fight an Orc Tier, Ogre Tier, Goblin Tier and a random robot from any Tier. This means no predetermined nonsense and allows everyone a fair chance to build up a good score.
[li]Series will be broken down into parts: High vs High/High vs Mid Mid vs Mid/Mid vs Low Low vs Low/Low vs High probably Desperado Anyone vs Anyone any additional events like elimination tourneys and Last Chance Rumble to get the Ro32 finalised Ro32 onwards [/li][/list] RULES: 1. DSL-IRL ruleset - Robots must look as close to real-life designs as possible/insides must NOT be clipping through each other nonsensically. (Batteries inside motors, flippers passing through insides etc) 2. Heavyweight limit of 800kg. 3. No EternalFlame.py or logic. 4. If your weapon clips through the floor while trying to self-right too many times then it will be deemed immobilised. 5. No servos UNLESS you can AI it yourself then feel free to send me the servo bot with the AI. 6. No excessive extender spamming/stacking (Extenderbots are allowed of course but if you use extenders to armour your bot….no, just use the armour panels!) 7. Flatmotors, Hworf Blades and the Overkill motor are legal. All other CheatBot2 parts and Minion/Mini Minion discs are banned. 8. No more than 1 Beta Burst/Motor, 2 VDMA R/P Bursts/VDMA Front Hinged/Storm Burst on your robot (depending on which one you choose, don’t mix and match). This does not count for clamp/double weapon robots. 9. We have limits for certain teeth/weapons. Typhoon teeth: 2 Large OR 4 Small for a Vert, 4 Large OR 6 Small for a Horizontal, no typhoon drums. Ripping teeth: 2 Ripping Teeth on any robots Mechavore/Microvores: 1 Mechavore or 2 Microvores. 10. No weapon spam or stacking. I won’t limit parts but I will be clamping down on robots I think are pushing it. I won’t be as lenient this time. 11. No Steel 10 armour. 12. No meltybrains. 13. Clusterbots are allowed: they must strictly be Middleweights. No minibot nonsense. Both halves of a clusterbot must be KOed to count the whole robot as out. 14. Bots with multiple weapons are allowed as long as one weapon is different from the rest of your entries. 15. Configurations Bots are limited to three different weapon systems. The main chassis of the robot (armor, drive system, etc.) should not change between configurations. You are allowed to use weapons that your other entries use but each config must be a different weapon type. You MUST also include a list of what config to use for certain robot types! 16. Clusterbots/configbots can bypass the weapon rule: Configbots must have at least one different weapon type compared to the rest of your team while Clusterbots will be judged on a case by case basis. 17. Each robot you submit must be a different weapon type to prevent one weapon type dominating the tournament. Seeds are not counted under this ruling. 18. Due to previous events outside of OW, you must enter your OWN robots and not robots made for you. I will allow a guest slot or two for the World Championship for those that don’t play. 19. If your robot takes too long to load then I reserve the right to reject it. 20. RA2CF and DSC IRL packs are allowed and are encouraged for this tournament, along with skinned components. 21. Wedges/Wedgelets attached to Axle Mounts/Free Hinges are banned due to messing with physics. These axles/hinge types are fine for decoration however! Components used for OW4: - DSC's packs
- Coloured Slipperbottom Wheels
- Robot X Caster Colours
- FrenZy Hammer Colours
- DSL Disc Covers
- DSL3 NPC Motors
- Improved Battery Attachment Points
- Coloured Typhoons/Beaters
- Improved Beta Attachment Points
- Coloured Bars

People in my comments section are sending me demands to join a thing that you seem to run.
Oh dear, I just looked. I don't host anymore...but I'll put in a word with the lads over at Good Robottal for them to take a gander at your stuff: not sure how the next tournament is being run but hey, no harm in trying right?

Please tell me this tournament is going to be consistent, have a well made format, and no highlighted fights.
Don't worry that's about 95% of tournaments
Also, drop the bitching about Orc's Wars, it's been over for months now. The format is already confirmed (in the signups), and the entries are set in stone. You got accepted into this tournament, so stop wallowing about a tournament that wasn't hosted by BSRaven rejecting a bot of yours.
Then again, you really seem to not like me, so you won't take a word of this to heart
P.S. Can't wait to watch Fenrir play dead 2 minutes into a fight because battery life is garbage.
When Did I ever mention ORC wars? Never, you're just finding some excuse to argue with me, which i find pretty funny.
Now now, play nice: this isn't the place for an argument :P That aside, interesting Heat to begin with. Beckzor and Cataclysm are definitely my favourites to look at: Cataclysm reminds me of the construction vehicle bots I made ages ago!

For third, ask other people, like me for example, to AI it for you instead. I think she doesn't know how to AI at all
I had a linear actuator robot or two for OW3 and I had no idea how to AI them even with help from others. Just remember guys, IRL is subjective: each host can deny entries that would be accepted in other tournaments. Let's not jump on Raven for denying stuff when it's his first time hosting. Regardless, hoping Duo gets in and I'm looking forward to this interesting tournament.

Wait hold up, did I lose the belt to Billy? I know I missed sending an entry straight away but I did send my bot to Bild: did I still lose the belt then? Just checking up, no issue if that's the case. :P
Bild said back in the RA2TS that since you never send a bot to him for my challenge with you, he treated it as you forfeiting and me winning automatically, getting the belt. He then challenged me for the belt
Huh, okie dokie then. No worries man, thanks for clarifying.

The poll for the 4th place in the Round Robin is a unique idea and encourages viewer engagement, it all sounds pretty interesting honestly: great to see a new host step up and I'm definitely looking at entering something into this!

I mean, it'd be nice to make it... legal.
Like it looks cool n all. But I think it be nice to challenge yourself and try it with proper components.
Sorry, i got kinda bored with the standard components and i may just change minor stuff from now on Otherwise i didnt changed that much stuff in there, i just wanted a round drum thats otherwise pretty much impossible to do it good :U
I'll be honest, these custom shell pieces would be neat for IRL building...something for you and possibly Kix to look at/work on together?
