Ok, so I've reworked NOT SO MDGT's weapons by adding 3 HP Zteks on the ends of the tri bar then adding tribars and maces on them, the results where entertaining. But I'll be changing it to stack a HP in the center and add maces. [Update on that soon]

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to make something more creative and had wanted to use some sideskirts so that was the idea I played with.

Mute: Putting the Razor strips on without an angled connector gets you a popup from 2007. But we haven't used those 16kg monstrosities on a popup in a long time.

Swanky 2: When building a wedge, an upwards facing bust motor makes the wedge worse. Stock isn't flipper friendly. If you really want to see a stock flipper, look at No Hype 5 from BBEANS.

Scoops: I assume by "skirt" you mean "EMERGENCY Wedges". Against a well built wedge you'll probably lose as the center of a wedge is where it is most wedgy. You may be better off redesigning the wedges from scratch.

NO SO MGDT: Sledge Hammer have extremely low damage for their weight and one Black Battery can power 4 HPzs.

The skirts on scoops are the plows on the side, mainly so flippers can't get under it.

Would would be better than the sledgehammer then?

Im here to add some more bots to my showcase. These are; Mute, Swanky 2, Scoops and Not So MDGT.

Mute

Swanky 2

Scoops

NOT SO MDGT

Mantis 5/6 Update, I have added a second claw to Mantis, moved the ram plates to the front. However, I have chosen to keep the larger wheels for getting up ramps and kept the same amount of flippers to keep it heavy. (Mantis will no long be worked on).

Sounds good, but for now considering I only have 1 bot in it I'll leave as it is now  :laughing

Really like to use of the ram plates, I was try a similar idea regarding the angled Co2 pistons, but my one question is if it goes on it's side? But other than that really great!  :laughing

Hi,
This is my first showcase of my bot 'Mantis 5' Initially I had tried to recreate 'Mantis' from Robot Wars Series 7 but had changed it into this. First I had started out using servo motors for the 'claw' and lifters, after that I had changed it into the current motors to create Mantis 2, after a few fights I noticed that the now flippers would work better if the had something to counter balance them, creating Mantis 3 (Also attached). Though only to find out they break off really easily, so I had remade the chassis to create Mantis 4 and finally upgraded the drive to HP Z-Teks to get Mantis 5. Would really appreciate the feedback, thanks.
