Please tell me you realise.oh my god please learn to post images like a humanYou realise which you're talking to, right? edit: Just a heads up BTW Craig, the guide you linked to for uploading images is a tad outdated for the new (well, 2018 new) image attachment system. Obviously the cropping sections and stuff are still relevant though 125

Haven't built a drum in yonks so here's one. Etek for the drum and 2 NPC fast drive. It's a fair bit underweight ATM but I'm largely happy with it.
Edit: Edited the supports because it was tipping forwards on hits with the old ones, and altered the drum setup because people didn't like the axle extenders. 127

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Hard Bot's RA2M« on: April 19, 2020, 06:57:47 PM »ow4 is doneWhy have you put this in Hard Bot's showcase? Also why do you think that posting typo-riddled messages is gonna make him post it any quicker? To actually address the bots in this showcase, I like checkmate quite a bit, though I do feel that the wedge feels a little disconnected from the bot. If you shortened the chassis a little so there wasn't such a gap between the front of the wheelguards and the wedge corner, I feel it would look a bit better 129

I also decided to renovate this old thing for some reason. Made it less crashy, gave it a frenzy hammer and gave it some nice angled armour bits around the beta motor
Oh, and I also made some changes to Adrenaline. Cleaned up the flipper setup and also lightened it a ton so it flips better, and swapped to wedgelets instead of a panel wedge. No matter what I did with the panel wedge it just couldn't get under anything despite my success with them on other bot types, so I made the change 132

Everyone else is posting their WWRA2 bots so **** it I might as well too. This is Adrenaline. Goal was to do a rear hinge with an interesting shape to it while being reasonably effective, which I hope I achieved. Drive is 2 NPC fasts and weapon is 2 Med VDMAs

Tutorials and Tips / Re: IRL - A Beginner's Guide« on: March 20, 2020, 05:48:15 PM »
Updated this again. Rewrote the introduction to place more emphasis on the 'spirit' of IRL to coincide with the push to prevent slipping build standards. Also referred to the 2020 ruleset, and added a whole section on dos and don'ts of wedge design.

Tournaments / Re: SvL Season 2« on: March 11, 2020, 10:59:58 AM »I mean there have been a fair ammounts of tournaments in this game already, so hosting yet another tournament would be a reasonable thing i reckon. Most tournaments have been hosted in the same version of the game that the entries were built / accepted in. If free cam is that essential to this tournament that you're talking about cancelling it if you can't get a version that works with it, IDK why you didn't just wait to host it in the version of the game that it works with Either that, or just don't use freecam. 138
Tournaments / Re: SvL Season 2« on: March 11, 2020, 09:19:33 AM »You could like, wait until it's in full release before you start hosting tournaments? It's almost like basing your tournament around patches that aren't even out yet, in a game that's still in alpha/beta testing isn't a good ideaIt may not be a good idea, but it's my best option. You could use the version of the game that was out when you were accepting entries, rather than banking on future versions maintaining compatibility when the game is still in development and patches are clearly gonna break stuff from previous versions. Literally anybody who's played an in-development version of a game before could tell you that the chances of stuff from one development version still being compatible down the line are basically nil. You should have seen this coming. 139
