Sorry for being a bit late, but Heat B of Annihilation Nation 2 is ready to go! Fight Summaries:Eliminator 1:Gotta give credit to Cowbot, it was bloody effective despite being simple. Coco Jumbo was dismissed of surprisingly quickly while Crustacean Mini's batteries unfortunately managed to give up the ghost in the last half of the fight, which is a shame considering it came close to nearly taking Cowbot out of commission. Red Baron's inferior model still managed to pull off some aggression and damage here and there, too, so maybe it isn't all bad for V1.5, huh? Shoutouts to Ice Pick for cheating death for the first 20 seconds, but unfortunately it was unable to escape Exosphere's flipper and went out fast. Touka-Chan also proved effective, but ultimately was taken care of in the same way while Bumper kept the pressure on all 'bots despite taking a few flips during the fight. Say hello to the first Judges' Decision of this tournament! Ice Pick managed to somehow lock up Coco's weapon which I wasn't expecting to happen, but ultimately both Coco and Crustacean Mini killed eachother through spikeballing or running out of power, which is something that Crustacean should've used the extra 80KGs it had left on. Ultimately, Touka-Chan and Ice Pick went the distance, but this was a fight that was really easy to decide.
Touka-Chan won on Control and Aggression alone. Ice Pick did do more damage, but it wasn't enough to outmuscle Touka's relentless onslaught. Uhhhh... Goodbye, Exosphere. I was expecting Exosphere to steamroll the 'bots here, but what I wasn't expecting was for it to suddenly kill itself in the middle of the fight. That genuinely surprised me and I had to test to make sure that wasn't a mistake, but I let it stand as it did do that in testing. But holy sh**... talk about one of the toughest judges' decisions I've ever had to do, between 3 'bots that all played equal parts in managing to get points for damage, control and aggression.
So for Damage, I gave 2 to Red Baron and 1 to Bumper as their weapons were dealing active damage while Cowbot's flamer did very little in the match. Control I gave the 2 points to Bumper with 1 to Cowbot as while Red Baron dealt damage, there were a lot of times where Red Baron was out of control while Cowbot throwing itself over cost it dearly. And as for aggression, I divided the points equally between Cowbot and Bumper as they both proved equally effective. So in the end, the scores went 1.75 to Cowbot, 2 to Red Baron and 3.75 to Bumper, so Bumper surprisingly was our Winners Semifinalist. This is gonna be the series of the Front-Hingers, isn't it? Cowbot went first and the Touka-Chan followed suit, but Red Baron almost managed to give us our third judges' decision of the heat and tournament. Sadly for Red Baron, Exosphere would've won the judges' nod regardless, so it getting OotA'ed in the last 10 seconds probably avoided adding insult to injury. Now this was a good heat to witness. I was not expecting Cowbot or Bumper to be as effective as they were, while Coco Jumbo being the first 'bot out was even more of a shock to me. It really does seem like AN2 is providing us with a wild and wonderful cast of semifinalists that could all potentially win this thing. I did away with the Next Time parts as I felt they didn't add much, but at least I'm continuing to make this tournament the best I possibly can. Here's hoping the next heat ends up being as crazy as the last. ^_^ HEAT C COMING SOON...

So its finally time for Annihilation Nation 2 to officially start! The first heat is finally up for you all to watch! ^_^ Fight Summaries:Eliminator 1:One thing to note about Annihilation Nation 2 is that havoks may be a more commonplace sight than you might expect, and its simply because RA2's physics are unable to handle 4 'bots at once. Regardless, I was shocked that both Apogee and Pyongyang, the strongest 'bots in the heat of death, were shut down so fast. Brumalia seemed to survive more than it did actually win on its own merits while Blue proved itself an effective 'bot on its own. So, yeah, the havok issues? Allord's one of the most annoying cases, mainly because the wheels clip into the motors and the drum's motor is in the drum itself. Took me ages to get a take that didn't result in Allord catapulting itself out of the arena when a component broke, and as for the fight itself, Old Glory proved itself the strongest, while Aesthetics got by through being the 'bot that was more controlled in the battle. And poor Monolith was utterly eviscerated... Welp, say goodbye to one of the 'bots I thought would win the whole thing. The draw was horribly unkind to Pyongyang Dreams, who would've steamrolled any other heat besides this heat. Apogee III redeemed itself incredibly well, with three straight OotA's in a row, the equivalent of 3 Doctor Feelgoods. I must admit, I had Aesthetics put down as one of the weaker 'bots in the heat of death, but through sheer luck (and potentially a bit of damage) it managed to win by being the last 'bot moving properly. Old Glory was very unlucky to lose a wheel in the first 5 seconds, while Blue was thrown out without much fuss and Brumalia did a dumb. Well, Apogee came back with a vengeance, didn't it? Brumalia had no chance to avoid an OotA, Blue suffered a similar fate and I was actually kinda surprised Old Glory managed to get a good attack on one of the wheelguards. However, that damage was all for nought when Apogee pulled off its 6th OotA in a row. For this being the well-touted Heat of Death, this was admittedly not the greatest set of fights we got to watch. Still, a few surprises happened that I wasn't expecting to happen, and hopefully the heats pick up the further we get into this. Yep, that's actually my voice in the intro. Wanted to make this with some more flair, though it sounds like I've downed 12 bottles of nyquil beforehand. The editing's a little shaky as well, particularly in soundmixing, but its just me having to get to grips with new editing software. Oh, well. :P HEAT B COMING SOON...

Hey, guys. I got all the choices for all the modular 'bots, so you guys are all fine. I've managed to record up all of Heat A ready to go, though admittedly I've not been feeling at my best recently, what with being stuck at home all the time.
Still, I'm working on this and am actually happy to keep on going with this tournament, so don't worry about me! Hopefully if everything ends up all good, I should be able to get the first heat up at 19:00 on Sunday, though I shouldn't really hold any promises.
Here's hoping this all goes well! ^_^
Edit: I've actually moved the date to Saturday now, so the first heat should be coming soon! ^_^

So the Heat draws have been done! So in order, here are who all your 'bots are gonna be fighting! Just keep in mind that you have to only decide for the Heats right now. In the case of the Semi-Finals, there can be another time period where you can send configs. We're almost ready... I'm slowly working my way towards getting Annihilation Nation 2 fully up and working, so don't worry if it takes me a while! I've already done up all the AI for the first 11 'bots in alphabetical order alongside the AI lines given to me, so we should hopefully be up and running next week at the earliest!
The SBV will be a separate page of its own to avoid looking cluttered, so stay tuned! ^_^

With these last few 'bots, Annihilation Nation 2's Signups are officially closed! 64 'bots are ready to take center stage in the most brutal tournament there is... but the signups aren't all closed yet! There are still 8 spots left, and those are for the Reserves that either didn't make it in or were unlucky with the rules.
All people can enter with 'bots that they didn't think should enter, but all people are limited to one entry for this mini-episode. One of the rules relating to weapon limits will also be removed, namely Beaters can now be used for any form of weaponry.
With that, a few entries will immediately be accepted straight away!
