Still up for full discussion: 1. Livestreams! These would be in addition to the recorded matches being posted. This will require a lot of dedication from everybody, with hosts and commentators (maybe) working as a team to deliver a consistent product. Would you come out to a saturday night livestream? With live chat and commentators going to work, this could be an awesome weekly event.
I don't think a livestream would be possible - it's ambitious, but it wouldn't work.
I agree with this mostly. If interest DOES build up, via youtube and the like, we should be able to live stream, as livestreams would not attract many viewers unless the game is particularly popular.

I dabble in modding .gmf and .txt files, but only really when I want a custom skin on certain parts (such as the terrible glitch wheel, or the amazing red blur blade.) I DO want to be taught how to reskin arenas and the like, or possibly create entirely new arenas. Are there any tutorials floating about?

Seems like a good idea but I feel like irl should have it's own tournament
The whole POINT of this discussion is that it is one big tournament.

2 sounds great! Id be willing to participate, as well. This sounds really good. Oh, we'd also need a guy with a decent mic to announce. Someone with ridiculous amounts of enthusiasm, like the one out of robot wars.

I didn't see it coming either. Damn, now I really wish I'd gotten into Final Fantasy earlier in my life (I know I'm a scrub, sue me). Could he be the winner of the Smash Ballot?
Nah, they're announcing the ballot next month. Anyway. I've never been a massive fan of FF7, but I do like the final fantasy series, especially 10, that one is amazing, but seeing Final Fantasy getting some love brings a tear to my eye. Now, we just need to get Sora from Kingdom Hearts in...

Yeah not even gonna talk about the first one seem as though it's so unrealistic.
That's because I was building to an ironforge unrealistic build style. I didn't stack anything, so the bot is perfectly legal.

Hey, everyone! Today I am treating you to two different bots! Both of these bots may seem familiar to you, as I used them in the challenges against Thrackerzod and Ecolusian, respectively ( of which I lost both ) As the splash notes, this is the first iteration of my signature bot, the flaming memorial! It uses steel armour. And this is the, frankly, pretty sh**, bot called the burning horizon, this is loosely based off of the flaming memorial, and has titanium armour. [moverightfast]Thoughts? Tips? So, my friends, a new frontier! Yes, I have journeyed into stock, and HOLY CHRIST LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THE COMPONENTS! So, anyway, my first bot is called Nuclear Dooky, and, with this bot, I have taken on a new form of presenting it (as I have become slightly more adept at using mspaint) Yes, it does look rather crap, but it can beat most of the ai lightwieghts relatively easily. It has titanium armour. Thoughts? Tips?

I know nothing about boats, but they look pretty cool. Just wait until you get 'em covered in gunk from the rivers.

Hey, guys, it's me, Red.
So... I have an apology to make. I've realised that I've been... Less than helpful to this community (posting, frankly, sh**e advice; falling for troll bait; being a general asshat etc.), so, I am making this thread to apologise for the amount of sh** I have poured into this community. I am also making a promise. This promise is that I shall strive to become a better member of the community. After all, some people have been drawing parallels between myself and a member named Sparkey. By my research, this is not a good thing.
Apologies, once again, for being a total wanker, and I hope to be a better member in the future, Red.

Red, WTF you on about? Anyways, I think Oak could use a shorter hammer and that may free up some extra weight for a better wep or two using an array, but i dont quite know.
I don't see why everyone is confused, its really not that difficult to understand.
