I just noticed that the only taskbar'd browser is IE or Edge, too. Don't suppose you could go ahead and kill whoever the host was?

*Edit:* And he still has that windows store thing pinned to his taskbar. Not to mention he was playing RA2 windowed, in the first place. I shouldn't have been able to see this mess. I feel ill.

In fairness, he was just asking if it was possible. He wasn't running around asking why there're no robots being built with hydrogen fuel cells.

I just meant that keeping as few people in a server at one time as possible reduces the total numbers of suspects for a button press.

As for blaming the host, you don't see people blame the host (U AID IT WRONG) often, do you?
Well, limiting the amount of people it could have been doesn't solve the problem. Also, "you AI'd it wrong" and "you pressed my flipper button during my match" are two different things. With AI, it's immediately evident who's in the wrong.

Actually, I was under the impression you couldn't be selective when it comes to picking those that can press keys, but I think it was Jason being lazy. Even so, the point stands that, if one guy ****s up, he could blame it on his opponent pressing his buttons or the host rigging it.

Most robots are versatile with controls. If I'm wrong and it's just my robots that can have multiple schemes, then my controls can be changed by the organizer before others.
I don't really get this

One problem with online tournaments is the fact that, if someone outside the fight presses a key, it's untraceable. Even if everyone in a tournament is deemed trustworthy and not a minge, if something goes genuinely wrong in the game or a driver makes a mistake, it's easy to immediately begin pointing fingers. Try up-voting Mouldy's suggestion as much as you can, as it's vital to running fair tournaments.

Not to mention that people won't have freedom of choice when it comes to controls. If two guys, let's even say in the finals, have the exact same control set-up, one of them has to bite the bullet and use something they're not used to. If that person ends up losing, how can we tell if it was because of that or not? That driver can also easily complain that was the reason they lost.

After being bullied by RoboBowler and Mouldy, I have come to the conclusion that online RA2 is sh**. Parsec is great. Had a really fun time, just now. Had a mini-tournament, too, which I won

A first playtest was done about a month ago and it was pretty successful. A lot more so than the first version of the game.

Hi, grand champion, here.

Or you could use the ygopro version without Links, which is technically the 'stable' non-beta version. Or, you could learn the new mechanics and not be a filthy casual ;) You could also always play True Draco Demise. It's meta relevant and it doesn't use extra deck summoning mechanics. Decks like Monarchs, Kozmo and True Draco have always been a filthy casual's best gateway into the metagame.

I'm indifferent to Links, honestly. I'm just happy there's potential for so much diversity in the TCG meta. The OCG meta is soooooooooooo ****ing diverse, atm. We just gotta catch up, real quick. TCG meta is currently stale with crippled SPYRALs running around.

Both Discords suck. Join Garry's Wars, instead.

I absolutely love the game, so far. I don't know if it actually emulates real life, but I found that the person taking the initiative to move towards the opponent, when they have the same wedge (Eruption vs Eruption), always loses the wedge war. It lead to me losing to Eruption (as Eruption) over and over again until I realised all I had to do was not move, which shouldn't be what anyone should come to the conclusion to. I don't know how much useful this feedback is, honestly, considering the game is in the early stages of development and the pre-built bots are just a demo. Not to mention that I was using a bot against an exact copy of itself. I just thought I'd mention it, anyway. It did make me cry out in joy when I saw this, tho:

Edit: After doing Original Sin v Eruption, that could be the way the wedge war works, in this game. Hopefully, this is just because the game is too early in development.

In all honesty, I never get my hopes up too much whenever I see anything like this pop up because the projects usually get abandoned, after a while. Either that or progress on them is made at the pace of a snail dragging a boulder. Nevertheless, I wish you an incredible amount of luck with this project. I really appreciate that you're working on this.

good tournament

also what Badnik said. You'd need to meet up on Discord about 30 minutes beforehand, at least.
