Alright, back in the groove of things. Just finished up the fights for episode 3. I'll be changing up the judging criteria though. It needs improvement, plus, this is just a test tourney, meant to experiment and test stuff. I also simplified the episode format so that there's less stuff to read and it also takes less work to make.

I plan on making a webcomic series called "Bot Wars". It's a satirical parody of both Battlebots AND Robot Wars, featuring many similar elements such as the idea of house robots, the fight-night tournament format, arena hazards, and most importantly robot designs.
The idea is that I would take a real-life design, modify it and rename it, and list it as either a homage or a parody of the real life competitor that inspired it, and have it compete in the series.
For example, there's a competitor named Tin-Head. It HAS to be like Mauler from Battlebots. I won't explain why, but literally the entire series is dependent on this. Tin head is a robot with many different versions, just like Mauler, with a similar evolution in design: A lid/fullbody spinner with a monster face on it as well as the robot's name. It too is run by a crazy family of rednecks called the Gilford Family (parody of Mauler's creators, the Tilford Family. This is probably the ONLY time a real-life team is ever parodied. Usually, it's just the bots.) Tin head is different from Mauler for consistent reasons:
Tinhead's design is asymmetrical (not in shape, but in coloration, armor material, decorations, weaponry) has a consistent yet different monster design on it and has a different base color, as well as design aesthetics like a painted lobster claw, painted wings, and 2 different types of antlers. They might even protrude out the top of the robot like a self-righting poll.
I don't plan on stealing ANYTHING. In fact, I think I'll have a small counter in the background counting every single reference the comic makes to real-life robot combat, and then have a big long list at the end of every chapter explaining what each reference is connected to. (You can't be accused of stealing someone's creative work if you don't take credit for it, but rather credit the creator, right?)
I've already attempted to contact both Battlebots and Robot Wars about this, but have had no luck in getting ANY response. I've also studied copyright laws as well as what the standards are for something to be considered an official parody, and what's considered copyright infringement. Sadly, it seems to be heavily based on a case-by-case circumstance of what is and isn't considered illegal.
The nature of the homage/parody elements are simply a crude, yet light-hearted take on common tropes, cliches, and phenomena in general robot combat. It doesn't attack any real-life individuals and barely references any to begin with. The bots homaged/parodied are treated with what I consider as a reasonable amount of respect and I whole-heartedly believe that this won't damage combat robotics, but rather STRENGTHEN it by reaching out using comedy and introducing people to the basics of how robot-combat works.
I'm deathly scared of being sued, but I absolutely refuse to give up on the idea of implementing real-life tried and tested designs from real teams and tournaments into my series.
What's your guys' thoughts on this? Do I have a chance at succeeding with this plan or at least viably defending it in court, or am I totally screwed if I proceed with this? Do ya'll need more examples of what I'm talking about or something? Please let me know.

Kinda showed this off already, but I feel I should post it here just in case:

Yes, this is most likely going to be the version of the Juggernaut for the special side event. Kinda took some notes from Craaig/cephalopod's Havox made for GTMRW about three-ish years ago. (Wow already? Damn I just feel old now.) Mostly went with this idea of the Sir Killalot style bot since the saw blade represents the logo of Deathmatch, and really, if a House Robot didn't have something representing the logo, then that's kinda cheating. The claw is the only thing I'm not too proud of. It barely even lifts an opponent, let alone it's own weight. I almost want to scrap the claw for a flamethrower/hammer, which is a version I have here:

On the other hand, I fear this might be slightly redundant for weapons, so I'm more or less trying to figure out which would be more fun in the end.
NICE! Makes me want to make my OWN house robot. (I probably should)

Okaaaaaaaay, so, bad news:
Something came up, and I'm gonna need to take a break from the tournament.
Everything's ok, it's just that all my interest in this spontaneously shifted to a different project. Might be a little while before it shifts back.
I'll TRY to get some more done, but "episodes" won't be occurring as often.

You need to create a website for your bots and your fights. It will be a huge hit
You think so? Alright, time for the next episode! Bigfoot VS Dozer 2: Fight Summaries: Bigfoot: Very bad performance here. He got one hit when he was box-rushed by Dozer 2 sending them both flying, and then hit him a second time, but in doing so, he bounced back and got his weapon stranded on the arena wall, high-centering him. Dozer left him there as the house robots came in and began attacking the helpless Bigfoot. He was punched to the south-left arena wall by Cassius Chrome, before getting attacked by Matilda. He was nearly taken out of the arena, but Cassius Chrome impaled his left wheel guard and pulled him back onto the arena floor, briefly freeing him. Bigfoot spun on the spot, getting a hit on Matilda, but merely bouncing off, as Matilda shrugged off the hit. She then attacked with her spinning bar, launching him into the west arena wall again, this time in the upper half. She hit him one more time, throwing him oota. Dozer 2: Dozer didn’t have to do much here. First he box-rushed Bigfoot and got hit by the sit-n-spinner, sending both bots flying. Bigfoot spun up again, and Dozer rammed him, causing Bigfoot to bounce onto west arena wall, high-centering him by his weapon. Dozer then contemplated letting Bigfoot go, and ultimately deciding to leave him for dead. He then went back to his starting point at the right side of the arena as the house robots attacked Bigfoot, all the way until the end. Cassius Chrome: When Bigfoot got stuck on the arena wall, high-centering himself, Cassius took advantage and punched him a couple times. He then let Matilda attack Bigfoot a little, but then stepping back in when it seemed like Big Foot was about to go oota. Cassius Chrome punched into one of Bigfoot’s wheel-guards, briefly getting them stuck together. Cassius then brought Bigfoot back onto the arena floor, where he had Matilda do the rest. Matilda: Matilda didn’t get started until after Cassius had attacked the immobilized Bigfoot. She attacked him a few times with her spinning bar, but couldn’t make that much of an impact. Sensing this, Cassius Chrome spiked Bigfoot’s wheel guard and put him onto the center of the arena floor. There, Bigfoot tried fighting back, striking Matilda in the face, but causing no damage. In fact, Bigfoot ended up launching himself back towards the northwestern arena corner. Matilda then attacked with her spinning bar, sending Bigfoot onto the arena wall. She hit one more time, sending him oota. Results: Nonja VS La Machine: Fight Summaries: Nonja: Nonja just couldn’t catch a break. His first hit on La Machine slammed him into the wall and onto his rear-end. La Machine, now capable of righting himself from that position, managed to get back to the ground and away before Nonja charged at him with his spinner at full power. Nonja got in a few hits but would then have to spin his weapon back up whilst running away, only to get charged into a wall. At one point, he ended up getting clamped by Growler (after a few failed attempts). Growler lifted Nonja into the air, before lining up for a box-rush directly to the west wall of the arena. Growler charged at full speed with Nonja in his mouth, crashing violently into the arena wall and breaking of parts of it. Nonja recovered, and continued to fight on. They briefly bumped into Growler a second time lator on, but nothing happened. Eventually all the hits he managed to get on La Machine began to take a toll, as La Machine’s bottom plate began to come loose, slowly breaking off. Sensing this, La Machine frantically tried positioning Nonja in such a way as to throw him oota, and eventually, he succeeded, just a few hits short of total destruction. La Machine: La Machine achieved a fierce vengeance and showed off his design upgrades, particularly in the first hit which left La Machine on his rear. Thanks to the new wheelie bars, he’s able to not get stranded on his back, instead falling back onto his wheels, before quickly dodging a full-power attack from Nonja, whose weapon was at full speed. La Machine then aggressively collided with Nonja head-on numerous times, even when his opponent’s weapon was a full speed. At one point Nonja was caught by Growler, and slammed into the western arena wall with the full force of the massive house robot., damaging it. Nonja came out unscathed, and continued fighting. Eventually, all the weapon hits from Nonja took it’s toll on La Machine, as his lower wedge was starting to break. Sensing this, La Machine desperately tried getting Nonja oota, and eventually, he succeeded, just a few hits short of being totally destroyed again. Growler: Growler showed his full power at one point in the match when he got a hold of Nonja. He lined him up for a box rush with the competitor in his jaws, and slammed into the west arena wall, damaging it. However, this only shook Nonja up a bit, the robot remained intact. Sir Killalot: Results: Ramminator VS Deku: Fight Summaries: Ramminator: Surprisingly was on the ropes for a fair bit of this bout. He kept getting wedged around by Deku and slammed into the walls and the house robots constantly. However, he was somehow able to do damage to Deku, with a little help from the house robots. Deku: Deku was the dominant aggressor in this fight, but did tons of damage to himself. The collisions with Ramminator began to split open his top panels, loosening his wedge front pieces. He parts of his wedge lip, the wedge parts themselves, and multiple pieces of his top panel. Regardless, he was on top for most of the fight, sending Ramminator into the walls and the house robots, even after half his face was missing. He basically lived up to his namesake, causing MASSIVE amounts of self-inflicted damage. Gonna need Nurse Joy. (Wait a minute, that’s the wrong nurse, AND the wrong anime! :P) Shunt: Shunt got multiple hits on both Ramminator AND Deku, but didn’t cause any damage. Sergeant Bash: Results: Battle Stats for Ramminator/Deku: Damage: 15/0 Strategy: 0/15 Weapons: 0/15 Deku wins in an upset, 15/30! MAIN EVENT Silver Knight II VS Circuit Chipper Fight Summaries: Silver Knight II: He tried to stay aggressive and on top of things, but Circuit Chipper was to slippery, only being pinned down twice. At one point he was beached on the southwestern arena wall, but he was able to free himself with his arms. He also bumped into Mr.Psycho a couple times, at one point getting hit square on the head by Mr.Psycho, causing Silver Knight to topple over onto his back. He toppled twice, and both times, he got hit by Circuit Chipper while in a vulnerable position. Pieces came off of Silver Knight progressively, including the bottom part of his wedges, his left arm, and later his entire upper half. By that point the match was almost over. Circuit Chipper Once again the most devastating bot in the field. He actually tore apart parts of the arena wall and disabled the southern wall saws. (Insert Pic Here) Circuit Chipper was relentlessly pursued by Silver Knight II, even getting pinned a couple of times. He bumped into Psycho twice, getting hammered on both occasions, but surviving. Circuit Chipper was able to progressively destroy Silver Knight, removing the bottom parts of his wedges, tearing off his left arm, and later ripping him in half. By that point, the match was over. Mr. Psycho: Mr.Psycho got to show off his hammering skills, hammering both Silver Knight AND Circuit Chipper twice each. He actually hit Silver Knight right on top of his head with great precision. He didn’t cause any damage though. Dead Metal: Results: Battle stats for Silver Knight II/Circuit Chipper: Damage: 0/15 Strategy: 6/9 Weaponry: 1/14 Circuit Chipper wins 7-38 Well, that's all for now, hope you enjoy. Later!

Alright, time to take a look at episode 2's fight card: Our first fight is essentially between 2 total nobodies. It's time to see which bot sucks less...I guess... Bigfoot VS Dozer 2 Bigfoot: Intro: “This bot is the BEEFIEST sit-n-spin bot we’ve ever seen. Rapidly evolving with every competition it’s in, this bot is rumored to soon be retiring.” Stats: Weapon: Sit-n-spin hammer Strengths: potentially damaging weaponry, great speed and power Weakness: High ground clearance, hard to control
Dozer 2: Intro: “This unique design features a srimech arm that operates at the mid-section of the chassis. Now equipped with lifters that can DOUBLE as grappling arms, it’ll be interesting to see this little guy in action!” Stats: Weapon: Lifter/grappler Strengths: Fastest competitor, can self-right Weaknesses: Exposed wheels, underweight, fragile
The next fight is an interesting rematch from last tourney. La Machine was so brutally and utterly destroyed by Nonja that I actually STRUGGLED putting him back together. Can he get his revenge here against Nonja, who's currently 0-1 in the competition? (Forgot to mention the outcome of his fight with Zerschlagen. Oops) Nonja VS La Machine Nonja: Intro: Initially a joke of a competitor, Nonja showed an incredible amount of improvement last tournament with it’s giant spinning bar of death. He comes back now with a more compact design that puts a better emphasis on drive power. However, his stability has been slightly compromised. Stats: Weapon: Big f*cking bar spinner Strengths: Destructive weapon, can self-right, fast Weaknesses: fragile drive system, slightly unstable
La Machine: Intro: “That’s right, THE La Machine is being represented here. Now equipped to self-right form any angle, this bots more potent than ever before!” Stats: Weapon: Front-hinged flipper Strengths: Low ground clearance, powerful weapon Weaknesses: No destructive capabilities, fragile.
Next up it's a newbie against a veteran, in a battle of the boxes. I'm actually looking forward to this fight, which is essentially any robot combat television producer's worst nightmare. Ramminator VS Deku: Ramminator: Intro: “The KING of aggression, this 4 wheel drive box with a spike isn’t as boring as he looks. Crashing violently into the competition, both competitors AND house robots have to put up with this total berserking spaz of a machine.” Stats: Weapon: Ramming spike over a ramming front Strengths: Powerful drive system, resistant to hammers, unaffected when flipped Weaknesses: High ground clearance, lack of destructive weaponry, exposed wheels, can throw himself oota on accident
Deku: Intro: “Aiming to be the #1 combat robot of Bot Wars, this little wedge/rammer uses sheer power to overwhelm opponents. He’s designed to take a lot of punishment. Oh, and it’s an anime reference, cuz I’m a weeb.” Stats: Weapon: Front wedge and rear battering ram with sloped sides. Strengths: Resilient, 2nd fastest competitor, strongest pushing ability, invertible Weaknesses: No destructive weaponry, vulnerable to hammers and crushers, exposed wheels, weapons are useless when inverted
And last but not least, we see if this adorable former-walker can be a SERIOUS competitor, as he takes on the seriously devastating veteran Circuit Chipper, who's only 0-1 because of a scuffle with Sir Killalot himself! MAIN EVENT: Silver Knight II VS Circuit Chipper: Silver Knight II: Intro: “This bot was not only impressive appearance-wise, but also PERFORMANCE-wise last tourney, and that was when it was a slow, clunky walker. Now featuring a fine set of wheels to move about with at high-speed and a spinner-killing plow, can this bot do more than merely just steal the show?” Stats: Weapon: Moveable sword and shield on a 360 degree swivel torso Strengths: Fast, durable base, can self-right, versatile weaponry, low ground clearance, 360 degree weapon usage, can survive getting torn in half. Weaknesses: Top-heavy, lacks destructive abilities, upper half is frail.
Circuit Chipper: Intro: “Circuit Chipper is back again, this time with a design reminiscent of retired competitor Gouge. Can this old-time reclaim his glory days?” Stats: Weapon: Full Body Spinner Strengths: Very destructive, can self-right, fast Weaknesses: Heavy recoil from weapon, high ground clearance, needs space to spin up to full speed
Who's gonna win? Feel free to leave a guess, but we're gonna find out soon enough! (Well, ok, it'll take a day or two to go through the fights and writing the summaries for everyone. You've got some time...)

Alright, time for Episode 1! After much trial and error I finally got down a format for episodes: I list each fight with a description of what every bot involved in it did, and what the end of the fight meant. These respective performances are also copied to each individual robot involved, competitor or house robot. With that said, let's go! First up, Circuit Chipper VS Snappin' Dragon VS Junko: Fight Summaries: Circuit Chipper: He was a BEAST this round, just like in the olden days. He tore off Snappin’ Dragon’s rear plow, damaged Junko’s weapon to the point that it couldn’t spin too well, and even took of his right wheel. He spent most of the fight avoiding bots until he sped up to speed. He sent Snappin’ Dragon flying all over the arena multiple times, and near the end threw him into the wall, where he was stuck on his hammer and the wall, disabling him. Circuit Chipper would’ve won too had he not accidentally bumped into Killalot at full speed. Killalot took no damage, but decided to grab Circuit Chipper and carry him out the arena. Snappin' Dragon: Despite losing his plow, Snappin’ Dragon was rather tanky this round, taking a lot of hits from Circuit Chipper AND Junko. He got a few hammer shots too on both of his opponents. He even used Junko as a meat shield against Circuit Chipper, which resulted in Junko losing his right wheel. He was briefly attacked by Matilda when he was pummeling the helpless Junko later on, but escaped. Near the end of the fight, he got hit by Circuit Chipper and landed on his side, beaching his hammer on the arena wall, making it impossible for him to escape. He was then counted out as Circuit Chipper was carried out after a scuffle with Sir Killalot. Junko: Junko had a short but solid start attacking Snappin’ Dragon, but when he attacked Cicruit Chipper, his flywheel get damaged, making it harder to spin. Things then got worse a minute later when, whilst scuffling with Snappin’ Dragon, was hit By Circuit Chipper, losing his right wheel. He was then used as a shield against Circuit Chipper by Snappin’ Dragon. He was left in a bewildered state, spinning in circles until Killalot came by. Sensing that Junko was pretty much done, Killalot picked up Junko and tried his “spin trick”, but couldn’t throw him, merely lifting him up into the air and spinning in a circle. He was then brought to Matilda who attacked with both her tusks and her spinning bar. He was ;eft for dead near the southern wall-saws. Miraculously, Circuit Chipper disabled Snappin’ Dragon with a hit that left him beached on the arena wall by his hammer. Circuit Chipper then bumped into Killalot, angering the already crabby house robot. Killalot picked Circuit Chipper up, since he technically attacked him, and threw him out the arena. This left Junko as the winner, despite the poor performance he put up. Sir Killalot: Killalot had an off day today. He struggled to do his spin trick on a helpless Junko, only being able to rotate him in a circle while lifting him in the air. He then brought him over to Matilda for some destruction. Later, Circuit Chipper bumped into him at full speed. Killalot was unharmed, but wasn’t happy. It was bad enough he failed his spin trick, but being hit by a robot on top of that was unacceptable. Accident or not, Sir Killalot took action and threw Circuit Chipper out of the arena. Matilda: Matilda didn’t do much this fight. She used her tusks at one point and later her rear spinning bar on Snappin’ Dragon and Junko. That was pretty much it. Results: Winner by double KO: Junko Next, White Privilege VS Debra: Fight Summaries: White Privilege: White Pivelege used clever driving in order to ensure that Debra couldn’t get under his side or back, facing her head-on. He even managed to grapple onto her arm and rip off a wedge tooth. He got tossed around a few times, being tossed over to Shunt, who flipped him with his plow, then to dead metal, where his srimech arm got stuck in Dead Metal’s frame, and back to Shunt again, where he and Debra were each hit with Shunt’s axe. Later in the fight, White Privilege got his srimech arm caught in the west arena wall. Debra tried throwing him oota, but failed, and later left him there to be counted out, but White Privilege was able to free himself. He grappled with Debra’s arm several more times, almost removing her other tooth, but he kept getting batted away by the launching mechanism. There were only a couple of times that he was nearly thrown oota. Debra: Debra had a hard time in this fight. White Privilege’s front wedge had the same zero ground clearance that she had, and he kept his front pointed at her throughout the fight. She got a few flips on him, but he kept self-righting. White Privilege eventually managed to break off one of Debra’s wedge teeth with his crusher. At one point she tossed him towards Shunt, who promptly tossed White Privilege around further. Then she brought him to Dead Metal, who got caught up with one of White Privilege’s srimech arms. They separated, and later ended up back in Shunt’s corner. There, they were both hit with Shunt’s axe, with Debra’s chassis getting slightly damaged in the process. At one point, she got White Privilege stuck in the west arena wall with his srimech arms. She tried flipping him out of the arena, but eventually gave up and backed away so he could be counted out. Unfortunately for Debra, White Privilege escaped. They grappled a few more times, with White Privilege coming close to breaking off Debra’s other tooth with his crusher, only to be pushed away by the firing of Debra’s weapon. There were only a couple of instances where Debra almost got White Privilege oota Shunt: Shunt got 2 instances of action: First White Privilege was thrown at Shunt (lol that sentence), and Shunt punted him around with his plow. The second instance occurred when White Privilege and Debra crashed into him. Shunt got a few strikes on both robots. Dead Metal: Dead Metal got a little bit of action when White Privilege was thrown at him (lol) and got his srimech arm caught in the slot that contained Dead Metal’s saw head, giving Dead Metal an opportunity to attack. Results: Battle Stats: Damage: 15/0 Strategy: 8/7 Weapons: 9/6 Judges Score: White Privilege wins 32-13 Next, Snappin' Dragon VS Blue Moose 2.0 Fight Summaries: Snappin' Dragon: Snappin Dragon got flipped a few times by Blue Moose, some of them nearly going out of the arena. However, Snappin’ Dragon got in WAY more hits with his hammer. Both bots did a mix of strategic driving and straight-up RA2 AI. In terms of driving, Snappin’ Dragon was less aggressive. Eventually, Snappin Dragon managed to topple Blue Moose over. Blue Moose tried to self right, but Snappin’ Dragon wouldn’t let him. Eventually Blue Moose succeeded, but later found himself lying down with his flipper agape after a failed flipping attempt on Snappin’ Dragon. He couldn’t retract it, since flippers tend to not work that way. Snappin’ Dragon took advantage of this and cemented his victory by pummeling Blue Moose until he was counted out. When the house bots came in, Snappin’ Dragon backed away as the timer went out. Blue Moose 2.0: Blue Moose was more aggressive than Snappin Dragon in terms of driving, but less effective with his weapon. He got in a few good flips, but got hit by Snappin’ Dragon numerous times. Both bots did a mix of strategic driving and straight-up RA2 AI. At one point, he was too close to Cassius Chrome and got hit, prompting him to run away. Near the end, Blue Moose flipped both Snappin’ Dragon and himself over in one weapon usage. Shortly afterwards, he was toppled over by Snappin’ Dragon and wasn’t allowed to self right because of his opponent at first, but eventually succeeded. This was all for nothing though, because after a failed flip while moving forward, he got beached on his own open flipper. He was then considered immobilized and was attacked by Cassius Chrome and Sergeant Bash, getting put back on his wheels in the process. He went out swinging, flipping over Sgt. Bash before being punched out the arena by Cassius. Cassius Chrome: Cassius Chrome got a little bit of action near the beginning, when Blue Moose was too close to his corner. Cassius Chrome got at least 2 punches in before Blue Moose retreated. Later, when Blue Moose was immobilized, Cassius and Bash went after him, at one point righting him. Blue Moose seized this opportunity and flipped over Bash, but failed to do the same to Cassius Chrome, who was too heavy. Cassius then punched Blue Moose a few times, eventually punching him oota. Sergeant Bash: This wasn’t a good fight for Bash. At one point one of the bots was in his corner, and he attacked with his “flamethrower”. That was the best he could do. When Blue Moose was immobilized on his own flipper, Cassius Chrome and Sgt. Bash went in to bully him. However, Blue Moose was put back on his wheels, which gave him an opportunity to fight back, which he did, flipping over Sgt. Bash. By the time Bash righted himself with his “flamethrower” Cassius Chrome already punched Blue Moose oota. Results: Winner by KO: Snappin’ Dragon MAIN EVENT: Zerschlagen VS Nonja Zerschlagen: Zerschlagen was the first bot to start losing parts. After many anti-climactic weapon-to-weapon hits, the smooth circular piece under Zerschlagen’s chassis broke. I actually managed to briefly re-attach itself t the rear lip of Zerschlagen’s Chassis. Wow. Anyway, Zershlagen kept getting rammed at by Nonja, at one point getting his weapon stopped and getting hit directly on the chassis with Nonja’s weapon. Nothing broke. Later, Nonja over-turned and exposed his rear to Zershlagen. Seizing this opportunity, Zerschlagen tore off one of his rear chassis supports (it’s like a rear caster wheel). About 3 minutes into the fight, both bots seemed even, but then Zerschlagen managed to score a lucky hit and tore off the entire left drive of Nonja, wheel, motor, mounting and chassis support. This left Nonja spinning in circles for the rest of the match. Zerschlagen got some good hits, but nothing else broke. Nonja: Nonja was the aggressor for the first half of this bout. After many disappointing weapon-to-weapon collisions, Nonja got a clear shot on Zershlagen’s chassis, but nothing broke. At one point Nonja drove into Mr.Psycho’s corner, getting hammered along the way. At one point, the bottom support piece of Zershlagen came off, briefly reattaching itself even. Later, Nonja over-turned and exposed his rear to Zerschlagen, got hit, and lost one of his rear supports. Things got worse after the 3-minute mark, with Nonja getting his entire left drive system torn off. He was left wandering in circles, getting hit a couple more times by Zerschlagen, before the match ended. Mr.Psycho: Got one hit on Nonja, but didn’t do any damage. Growler: Results: Battle Stats for Zerschlagen/Nonja Damage: 10/5 Strategy: 9/6 Weapons: 8/7 Zerschlagen wins, 27/18
PHEW! That's all for episode 1, I don't know when the next episode is coming. I'll get to work on it the moment I'm done posting this. See ya then.

I just realized it's kinda hard to make predictions when you don't know the abilities of the robots, so I'll list them here. Snappin' Dragon VS Blue Moose 2.0 Snappin' Dragon: Hailing from China, this bot is known for it’s resilience and relentless hammer system. Surprisingly balanced for a robot with this type of weapon system, this guy can hit from the front or the back. Stength: Rapid-fire weapon, low ground clearance, resilient, can self-right Weakness: Low destructive capabilities, breakable rear plow Blue Moose 2.0: Blue Moose was the breakout star of last tournament and rookie of the year. This time around he features a compact design whilst still retaining its signature durability and flipping power! Strength: Powerful weapon, durable, low ground clearance, can self-right Weakness: Struggles to get under opponents, no destructive abilities White Privilege VS Debra White Privilege: Despite his name, this bot is quite a serious contender. With a very durable design, White Privilege now features a set of srimech arms that enable him to not only self-right, but also double as secondary grappling arms, making it harder for opponents to escape his crushing jaw. His drive system has also been fixed, with the wheels initially coming loose during his debut. There’s only 2 things that scare this bot: hammers that can break his wedge, and flippers that can toss him oota. Strengths: Fast, can self-right, scrimechs double as grappling arms, weapon can potentially do damage Weaknesses: Wedge is vulnerable to hammers, high ground clearance at the rear, top-heavy, exposed wheels Debra: The 4-bar launching beast is a symbol of strength amongst female robots. She’s fast, but also durable. So durable in fact that she’s been able to take on the NASTIEST spinners out there. She’s also got enough power in the launcher to 1-hit KO opponents oota. She’s a true contender for the championship. Strengths: Durable, fast, powerful weapon, low ground clearance, maneuverable Weakness: No destructive capabilities, sometimes struggles to self-right Circuit Chipper VS Snappin' Dragon VS Junko Circuit Chipper: Circuit Chipper is back again, this time with a design reminiscent of retired competitor Gouge. Can this old-timer reclaim his glory days? Strengths: Very destructive, can self-right, fast Weaknesses: Heavy recoil from weapon, high ground clearance, needs space to spin up to full speed. Snappin' Dragon: Hailing from China, this bot is known for it’s resilience and relentless hammer system. Surprisingly balanced for a robot with this type of weapon system, this guy can hit from the front or the back. Stength: Rapid-fire weapon, low ground clearance, resilient, can self-right Weakness: Low destructive capabilities, breakable rear plow Junko: This Swedish machine is a Tombstone-style horizontal spinner now equipped with a deadlier, heavier weapon for this tourney: a spinning flywheel. However, he’ not called “Junko” for no reason. Despite his improvements, this bot still has room to grow. Strengths: Invertable, potentially damaging weapon Weaknesses: Exposed wheels, difficult to control, prone to weapon failure/breakage MAIN EVENT Zerschlagen VS Nonja Zerschlagen: Hailing from Germany, this bot was a surprising newcomer with a penchant for flinging bots away like ragdolls. Now featuring heavier hammers, Zerschlagen is ready to ramp up the destruction in his fights. Strengths: Fast, potentially destructive weapon, can self-right Weaknesses: Needs room to spin up, big target, fragile chassis, prone to destabilizing
Nonja: Initially a joke of a competitor, Nonja showed an incredible amount of improvement last tournament with it’s giant spinning bar of death. He comes back now with a more compact design that puts a better emphasis on drive power. However, his stability has been slightly compromised. Strengths: Destructive weapon, can self-right, fast Weaknesses: fragile drive system, slightly unstable

Welcome back to Bot Wars! This isn’t an official tournament, just a test run. (Ok, it’s pretty much a serious tournament, I admit.) First and foremost, the rules and format should be brought up before going to our first episode: The tournament format is the same as season 8 of Battlebots, a fight-night format with a main event each episode. My tourney will have 4 fights per episode. The rules to win a match are simple: Beat the ever-loving crap out of your opponent in a K’nex arena until either they’re immobilized, destroyed, out of the arena, or until the 5-to-7 minutes are up. 1v1 fights are 5 minutes, and 1v1v1 fights are 7 minutes. Bots who pin opponents eventually have to let go after 10 seconds. Hazards in the arena include some wall-saws on the north and south walls of the arena (they don’t do much) The MAIN hazard is the house robots, which I stole from Robot Wars, and tweaked to be more effective as lego combat robots. They are- -SHUNT This horned beast features bigger horns, an axe that can double as a srimech, a wider lifting plow, reinforced wheel-guards, a lack of a rear plow, and lastly, some giant-ass horns in order to guarantee that if he’s flipped, he lands directly on top of his axe, making it possible to self-right (this wouldn’t work in real life…) -MATILDA Looking like a pig with wings, Matilda has her classic tusk configuration and a black body with srimech “wings” to help with self-righting. She also features rusty spinning metal bar that I found on the street. Doesn’t spin fast, but it hits harder than any other vertical spinner I’ve equipped her with. -SERGEANT BASH I have NO idea what his design is based off of anymore, but whatever. Back in blue to leave you black and blue, he features a HUGE crushing jaw augmented by a sturdy scoop. He also features an elongated flame-thrower that can double as a sri-mech. ATTEEEEENTION! -DEAD METAL Dead Metal returns with his saw system, which is STILL useless. Regardless, he can clamp on to even the deadliest of bots with those solid pincers of his, and with his new self-righting tail, he’s less defenseless than ever! -SIR KILLALOT Bigger than ever before, he can’t self-right but doesn’t need to. Armed with stronger arms and his trusty lance-and-claw setup, he’s the king of cruelty in all of Bot Wars. He’s also decked-out l=to look like a spaceship because I was low on parts and ideas at the time. -MR PSYCHO The craziest of the house robots, still with the menacing hammer and claws combo. Featuring wheels and a giant plow that’s only red because that’s the only color I could find the parts in. His hammer strikes harder and heavier this time around, so you best watch out. -GROWLER The doggy of hell returns (no, not Cerberus.) Finally featuring a set of jaws durable enough to take on anything, this bot is a literal brick on wheels and comes equipped with a srimech. -CASSIUS CHROME Once a total joke, this bot was long since been revised in lego form to be better, but now, he’s one of the big three. The big three being Killalot, Psycho, and now, Cassius Chrome, who might actually be the HEAVIEST house robot now. He has punching piston arms that can move up and down, a 4 wheel drive system and hefty plow that may-or-may-not be vulnerable to hammers. Alright, enough talk, now it's time to actually do some robot fighting. I'll post up "episode" 1 later today, Just gotta do it first. Here's the fights for episode 1 btw. Leave your predictions on the winners below! Main Event: Zerschlagen VS Nonja Other Matches: Snappin' Dragon VS Blue Moose 2.0 White Privilege VS Debra Circuit Chipper VS Snappin' Dragon VS Junko
