Tried doing some parsec testing tonight. I can run it but it's not quite as smooth an experience as when Reier does, apparently. Recorded some vidoos anyway:
Both sides were experiencing pretty bad lag in this one.
Brought 8bean in for a third opinion on lag.
This was just kinda a disaster.

Some confident driving puts Nightraven comfortably ahead of dan this time. I'm pulling for NightRaven in the next match - I haven't fought him yet, but my match with Lightning was way too close for comfort.
not gonna lie, at the time i thought i had round 1 in the bag and was a bit mad when i ended up losing it. ggs to thrackerzod though, best driver i've faced by far
Can't say I blame you, I was pretty salto about losing to that flipper (twice) in Centauri 1. ggs to you as well

r1: My strategy here was to try to take off Migrane's weapon. Needless to say, it didn't work. When my weapon fell off, my thought was that I had to pit Migrane somehow. It was only at about ten seconds left that I looked up at the scores and realized I didn't need to win, I just needed to not lose, hence the cheeky running away at the end. r2: This was brutal. I hit the flipper with some sloppy driving and Migrane just ate me alive. r3: I went into this one in full-attack mode. I got a lucky chassis hit early on, and just had to chase down Migrane for the last hit or two. Started getting a bit better at breaking out of the spin of death, as well.
Huge points to Lightning, it was a great fight and I really think it could have gone either way.

If you want a really gimmicky idea, you could do something like, "each person who enters gets to ban one part". Or, "all parts start banned, everyone gets to unban one part". Something crazy like that.
This is the exact opposite of what I'm getting at. This is also a response to what Badger said. I don't want to completely restrict people's ability to make bots by throwing a crap ton of gimmicky restrictions on them. I want 1, possibly 2, very basic restriction that would genuinely alter builds. 09 is more on my wavelength, yet I think hard-banning all 4 weapons isn't the most efficient of ideas.
In that case, I had fun running Tricycle Takedown (3 wheeled bots only). Not saying "do that", just, is that closer to what you're looking for?

I used to use OBS. My new laptop has a button that just makes recording happen, so if I do another one, I guess I'll use that

lightning v nightraven Nice avatar, Nightraven. Lightning made good use of his bot's width and wedge to keep Nightraven in control, despite the latter's stronger drive.
me v 8bean Both these bots are pretty speedy, especially 8bean's, so this was a fast paced fight. 8bean might have been a bit too speedy, though.
Welp, I gotta fight Migrane. Migrane has the same amount of weapon, and looks to have about the same drive, but is a lot wider than my bot, so it'll probably push me around. I'll have to be careful. Migrane's weapon motor looks exposed, maybe I can take it off?

cringey v 09090909090909090909090901 With that music, you know it'll be good. I think if Cringey had driven a bit more confidently, he could have destabilized 09 and gotten him in the pit. Or, maybe he would have just lost faster, who knows.
Plerco v evil toaster Unluckly for Plerco both times. rest in rip

Generally, always build for the weight limit. Weight limits are weird in Ironforge - LW is 125, MW is 200, HW is 400. You also get 4 free ballasts that don't count toward the weight total, but I don't see any ballasts on these from the internal shots (thanks for including internals btw).
The first one, my concern is that its not wide enough. Lots of IF bots use those big triangular wedges to make themselves really really wide.
For the second ones, rear weapons are useless in AI tournaments but if you plan on driving like in Centauri then they could be useful. Not much wasted space inside the chassis, which is good.
Third one, I've never been good at making HSes so not a lot to say. It does seem like its got very few weapons on it.
Also, the last time I built in this game was around a year ago, so my advice may be a bit out of date. Overall, not bad though.

cringey v lightning Good use of the hammer in round 1. Those plows on lightning's bot make it pretty good at pushing. Could be dangerous, especially once the pit drops, as we saw in round 2.
plerco v 8bean Flamethrower bot is speedy. 2fast for Paradise to get its weapon in. Nearly drove itself into the pit a few times, though, gotta be careful of that. Nice pitting in r2 as well.
thrack v evil toaster Exactly Lethal is friggin long. It's a bit awkward to drive, but I can always back up and try again if my wedge fails me. Also it hits hard - last time, when I had the popup, I kept missing my shots with the weapon, so I went for a VS this time to ensure that hits connect.
not freez v 09 Oh, I expected Cooling Down to have a flamethrower, looks like it's pure push. 09's entire spinner coming off in r1 was hilarious, good thing he already had enough points to win. Points to Raven for that last second pitting in r2. A much more confident pitting in r3. I don't really want to face either of these robots, 09 would kill me with weapons and Raven would kill me with the endless abyss of the pit.

Migrane - looks cool Dan - One of the robots I was considering entering with was an HS (it was Potedon) but it wasn't very fun to drive so I didn't Freezing Phoenix - I assume this is a WBP bot? Ground Zero Evo - looks kinda tall and awkward, but we'll see Cooling Down - I'll probably lose to this since it doesn't seem to have weapons Paradise - Interesting Exactly Lethal - Why is it so long? Must be compensating for something St. Manticore - Weird wedges, but cool
