Hi, it's come to my attention that there has been a large increase in racism against minorities on this forum. In response to this toxic behavior, I have taken up the liberty to take action in creating a thread for for those who feel oppressed by members of this forum.
The rules in this thread are simple: NO WHITE MALES ALLOWED (UNLESS YOU IDENTIFY AS A PERSON OF COLOR)
So go on, feel free to discuss how the white man has mistreated you in your day to day life, or how many opportunities you've lost due to now being white. I'm sure everyone in this thread can sympathize with your struggles and can find courage in your stories. Reminder, we're all hurt by the white patriarchy at the end of the day.
If you are a white male please keep out and enjoy your privelge in another thread. Feel free to read and watch about the struggles the rest of us have to live with by virtue of not being white.

alright, haven't seen anyone try this in a long time. name is subject to change Rules - Stock HW, 399-800 - 1v1, Bo3, double elim - Probably 16 entries - Arena TBA, will probably be a semi-large open arena - BFE, AAM, Hax mode and anything similar are banned - Meltybrain is banned - Trinity spinners are banned - Multibots are banned - I can reject a robot for any reason Building rules - DSL-S realistic - Bots must show controlled movemnet - Pure popups are banned, popups hybrids are fine as long as they are at least 50/50 with the other bot type - The only components that can be stacked inside themselves are baseplate anchors - Exostacking is banned, casters are fine however - RO7 is break is allowed, other features are not - Try to keep your bot actually legal if you're gonna use ra2cf to build - I may give certain bot types a weight bonus to make them not completely useless (mainly certain wedgeless/non-stilit bot types such as pokers) tldr: stock hw with dsl-s I'll update this some more when I get off mobile, probably gonna add something about allowing 2 entries and clean the rules up some more. Any thoughts? mainly looking for feedback on the extra weight idea

Before anyone says anything about the bots that tried to get past the no wedge rule, just know that I decided to let them stay as they are nowhere near as effective or as match deciding as traditional wedges. Sabretooth vs Grog, the Big Boned John the Robbut vs Hakuna Katana Avalanche vs Danksy Banksy Tornado vs Ripblade Big Dog vs Little Metal Friend DEADBEAT vs Freezing Iceberg Freezing Iceberg wins 2-0 BEAR vs My Metal Onee-Sama ALARM vs Ronin Sabretooth vs Hakuna Katana Tornado vs Avalanche Freezing Iceberg vs LMF Freezing Iceberg wins 2-0 Ronin vs BEAR Grog, the Big Boned vs John the Robbut Grog wins 2-0 Danksy Banksy vs Ripblade DEADBEAT vs Big Dog ALARM vs My Metal Onee-Sama My Metal Onee-Sama wins 2-0

DSL 2.2 Combat Arena, no hazards, 3 minute matches DSL-S BO3 LW, MW, HW RO7 bypass allowed No Meltybrain or other BS like crawlers, trinity spinners I think Badger said he would host
not sure if Naryar wants individual BO3's for each weightclass or just an all encompassing one. Would much prefer individual BO3's, but I know that's a lot of work for the host.

Posting on mobile so this may be a little on the wack side. I'll reorganize everything when I get back to a keyboard. General Rules: -DSL 2.2 -16 entrants max -If empty spaces are present after signup close, bye-bots will take the remaing spaces to make a even bracket, and will be from the stock DSL AI -1v1 -2 minutes matches, Best of 3, double elimination -DSL Tournament Arena, hazards on -Multibots are banned -Meltybrain is banned -Crawlers, TRFD, trinity spinners, bumble balls, and robots that attempt to create havok explosions are banned -You cannot enter unless a bot is received and accepted -I have the right to reject any bot under any condition Building Rules -DSL standard -HW, 399.1-800 -Rule of 7 bypass is allowed -The other two features of sergepatcher, component intersection and attachment freedom are not -cheatbot2, stock, and custom components are banned -All the usual out of game exploits are banned (BFE, AAM, etc) -Bots must show controlled movement -At least 2 powered wheels are required -Smartzones do not add toward's your weight, however they cannot be used as ballasts/mounts and must be Madiaba's smartonzes that are included in 2.2 Other -Bots get one free havok restart for a game-changing havok that has a major impact on the fight. A second havok will result in a round loss for the offending bot -One update is allowed per person. This can be as major as a rebuild or as minor as a skin -I can AI if you are not willing/unable to -No cheaty .pys -Builders who AI their own bot can change their robot's AI once and only once during the tournament (smartzone included) -Zero tolerance for blatantly illegal robots, builders who send an illegal entry will be disqualified from entering another robot. Things that I would consider blatant would include bfe/aam, custom components, and cheat .pys -I will be entering with tba Awards -The winner and runner up will be awarded with the tournament AI and bots tldr: it's a DSL-S tournament with no gimmicks Any other suggestions or ideas you guys have? *Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear Stars represent my personal opinion on the match, rated from one to five stars ** VRI-6C vs Darts.02 I really don't see how Darts.02 can beat VRI, but we've seen stranger things happen. Lightning S. wins 3-0 with 1 KO and 2 OOTA's. ** Radioactive Whale vs Rules of Nature Like the VRI vs Darts, I don't think this match needs much of a description. Maybe RedAce will lose the wedge war since he seems to have bad luck. Rules of Nature wins 3-0 with 3 KO's *** Adopted Nazi vs Zealot Normally, Zealot would be one of the best match-ups for a popup. With a small chassis and exposed motors, it won't be able to take too many hits before going out. Fortunately for it, neither can Adopted Nazi. With a steep wedge and plastic armor, Adopted Nazi's going to be looking for a quick match. Zealot wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. Adopted Nazi gets 1 KO ** Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun! vs Rough N Tumble Rough N' Tumble has speed. Zoom Zoom Flip! has lots of speed. That's the best summary I could come up with. Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun wins 2-1 with 2 OOTA's. Rough N' Tumble gets 1 WBP Looking back at Round 1, it looks like Zoom Zoom's wedges went under RN'T's spike's and launched it into the air and OOTA. In testing, this was an uncommon occurrence, so I didn't feel that it counted as a havok. If enough people otherwise though, I can re-record the match. EDIT: Rematch is up here Rough N' Tumble wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 WBP. Zoom Zoom Flip-kun gets 1 OOTA ** DONT TREAD ON ME vs Hope And Dreams DONT TREAD ON ME has some serious flipping power and is probably one of the most powerful MW flippers ever built (no, jex air doesn't count). On the other hand, we have G_S's axle-trap-rammer. Neither bot can deal that much damage, so we're looking at pretty long match. Also, I'm pretty sure DONT TREADT ON ME is the oldest bot entered in the tournament. Hopes And Dreams wind 3-0 with 2 TKO's and 1 WBP * Long Schlong vs Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear Well, it's an interesting match to say the least. Long Schlong wins 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 WBP *** Revolution vs Complexertivity Mr. AS himself said that Revolution sucks against HS. How well does he know his own bot? Probably more than I do but we'll see. Complexertivity wins 3-0 with 3 KO's. ** Butterfly Sting vs Sta rburst III Wedj War Butterfly Sting wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. StarBurst III get 1 KO * Radioactive Whale vs Darts.02 ...probably should have used omniram. Darts.02 wins 3-0 with 3 WBP's. If there's ever a match with as little action as this in the future, I will definitely either crop or fast forward through the slow parts. *** Adopted Nazi vs Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun! Despite both of these bots having wedges, this isn't nearly as much of a wedge war as you would think. Sure, one bot does come out on top in terms of wedges, but it's by no means a one-sided affair. Adopted Nazi wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun get one OOTA ** DONT TREAD ON ME vs Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear DONT TREAD ON ME is gonna need a little bit of luck if it's going to be able to beat Crouching Robot. With a wide stance built on stilts, Crouching Robot isn't easily toppled. If it is however, then it's Crouching Robot who's going to be needing a little luck as there's no way it's getting back on it's wheels. Crouching Robot wins 3-0 with 3 KO's *** Revolution vs StarBurst III It takes one hit for Starburst to drop one of Revolution's supports, and it takes another to destroy the chassis. The question is, can it actually get a hit in? Revolution wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. StarBurst III get 1 KO *** Rules of Nature vs VRI-6C While this match is kind of a wedge war, it still has it's fair share of twists and turns. If needed, VRI's ramplates can provide temporary protection from RoN's hammer. Rules of Nature's plows provide no such protection, though they do make pretty good trappers. Rules of Nature wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 OOTA. VRI-6C get 1 TKO ** Rough N' Tumble vs Zealot Rough N' Tumble thin profile is a almost near perfect for Zealot to gutrip. Unfortunately, Rough N' Tumble also has the perfect counter to Zealot, wedges. Neither can outright destroy the other so expect the long game for these two. Rough N' Tumble wins 3-0 with 3 WBP's *** Long Schlong vs Hope And Dreams Hope And Dreams wedge is going to be fodder against the disk of Long Schlong. It does have stronger drive giving it the edge if it turns into a pushing match. Long Schlong wins 3-0 with 3 KO's ** Complexertivity vs Butterfly Sting Complexertivity's snowplow isn't going to do much against a popup like Butterfly Sting. With an exposed chassis, Complexertivity going to need a miracle if it's going to take out Butterfly Sting. Butterfly Sting wins 3-0 with 3 KO's ** Darts.02 vs Complexertivity tba Complexertivity wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 WBP. Darts.02 gets 1 KO. *** Hope And Dreams vs Adopted Nazi tba Adopted Nazi wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. Hope And Dreams gets 1 WBP **** Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear vs Zealot tba Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 Havok Forfeit. Zealot gets 1 TKO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DtZfVgnYw4&feature=youtu.be#*** VRI-6C vs Revolution tba VRI-6C wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 OOTA. Revolution gets 1 KO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s8u-CXjvts&feature=youtu.be#***** Rules of Nature vs Rough N' Tumble Probably the best fight of the tournament so far. That's all I can think of right now. Rules of Nature wind 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 WBP *** Butterfly Sting vs Long Schlong i'll probably lose to anything with a double wedge. we'll see, i tried to keep the irons really close to the ground to protect against popups.
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose to Sage's bot.
Butterfly wins 3-0 with 3 KO's. Before anyone asks, I double-checked to see if Long Schlong had DSA. It does. ** Complexertivity vs Adopted Nazi tba Adopted Nazi wins 3-0 with 3 KO's. *** VRI-6C vs Crouching Robot, Hidden bear tba VRI-6C wins 2-1 with 2 KO's, Crouching Robot get 1 KO. Of the bots that could knock over CRHB, VRI was the second most consistent (Zoom Zoom either flipped it or put it oota almost every round). VRI's wide profile, and that the bracket wedges act as a ramp when it gets under the supports (I would remove the plows) was probably it's greatest strength in toppling CRHB. ** Rules of Nature vs Butterfly Sting RoN has to be careful to not lose it's weapon like it did against VRI, especially considering that Butterfly Sting is running Omni and not Popup. Like one would expect, wedges are a key factor here. Butterfly Sting wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. Rules of Nature gets 1 KO. **** Adopted Nazi vs Rough N' Tumble Both bots have a narrow profile with narrow wedges. Rough N' Tumble isn't the most damaging bot, but against a bot with plastic armor, it really doesn't matter. Rough N' Tumble wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. Adopted Nazi gets 1 KO. The reason Adopted Nazi keeps firing it's weapons prematurely is because of how steep the chassis wedge is. It's not able to get completely under RNT, so it fires it's weapons after nochassistime has expired. **** Long Schlong vs VRI-6c Long Schlong got absolutely demolished by Butterfly Sting in it's last match. Now it's facing another popup, this one with heavy armor instead of weapons. VRI's bracket wedges were key in it's last match, this match however, it's debatable on just how beneficial they are. Long Schlong wins 2-1. VRI-6C get 1 KO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t2ZwCW_fMA&feature=youtu.be#**** Rough N' Tumble vs Long Schlong VS vs rammer is usually a one-sided affair, not such the case when it's the rammer with the wedges. Rough N' Tumble has the superior drive in this fight, so Long Schlong better be prepared to take a trip around the arena. Long Schlong wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. Rough N' Tumble gets 1 KO. *** Long Schlong vs Rules of Nature Rules of Nature is gonna have to put its own weapon in danger if wants to get a hit on Long Schlong. Schlong's disk isn't the fastest there is, so all it takes is lucky hit for it to be rendered helpless and weaponless. VS vs Hammer is usually very one-sided, so things aren't looking that good for Rules of Nature's future. Long Schlong wins 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 WBP http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UThbbNQD5UU&feature=youtu.be#** Long Schlong vs Butterfly Sting Last time these two fought, it didn't go well for Long Schlong. But who knows, maybe I did something to it without knowing. Note: Long Schlong will need to win 2 Bo3's as it came from the losers bracket. Butterfly Sting wins 3-0. Badnik vs the World Popup Rumble Rough N Tumble vs Butterfly Sting Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear vs Revolution Revolution wins 3-0. There's two havoks that take place during the match, but Hidden Bear was pretty much finished when they took place so I didn't feel restarting the match would have mattered that much. For those of you who like to do predictions on each of the bots, here's a list of all of the bot names. Adopted Nazi:
