Also would like to point out about how the camera angles are on the arenas look displaced. I mean that the static camera angles need to change to show the entire arena.

Just want to withdraw this part of my thoughts.

Bad News: I thought this would be the thing that would get me back into RA2 but sadly I think I've grown out of it. Nothing to do with you guys but that's how I feel.

I am addicted to this game now. It is absolutely fantastic. While it won't get me back into building, it has increased my interest in Robot Combat again. Playing through this along with Metal Gear Solid 5 (Still) and Project X Zone.

For a mod of a game that is over 10 years old it plays quite well.
The only downside is the outdated physics engine but that's not the team's fault.

So at a glance:

+Nostalgic
+Smooth Gameplay for a mod based on an over 10 year old game.
+Stays true to both RA2 and RW.
+Can see the love put into it. Something that's quite rare in media these days.
+God load of reps and arenas.
+Menu and Sound Design.
+It's free.

-Outdated physics engine.
-Game needs to get noticed more on big gaming websites, not only RW main site.

Overall: 38/40

I'll just post my quick thoughts here and there's good news and Bad news.

Good News: An absolute fantastic job by the team. There's more care in this mod than in a lot of games I've played recently. You can see the love put in it.

Bad News: I thought this would be the thing that would get me back into RA2 but sadly I think I've grown out of it. Nothing to do with you guys but thats how I feel.

Great Mod people.

Play video games. Currently playing through Bravely Default and Metal Gear Solid 5. I like to collect rare games and amiibos.

I'm working in a creative media course. I hope to either do games design or filmmaking.

I'm a keen traveller having been to the USA, (New York to Orlando) Denmark, Greece, England and Wales.
I'm hoping to live in either South Korea or Japan by the age of 30. I'm going to learn a foreign language probably Japanese.

I also study philosophy in the field of Metaphysics. I like to question how the world works.

Pretty much my hobbies in a nutshell.

I can understanding that when your trying to make a serious contribution to something but all that goes through peoples minds is "Hey it's that guy who did that really silly thing."

This has nothing to do with me being a mod. It's either not funny or I just dont get the joke of recent stuff. And to be honest things were easier when I wasn't a mod. I could care less about the things I did and posted back then. And it was easier tobtalk to you guys. Since then you seem to only see the moderator instead of the person behind the username. And the current way GTM is really sucks for me as it doesn't feel like a second home anymore. To me it feels like cops versus robbers - mods versus certain members. I don't know if thats funny for anyone. And maybe its the case that I am a mod now that makes me think that all the stuff that is going on is not funny. Maybe it's cause i grew up.
GTM used to be a cool place. I used to be a cool guy. Maybe things change. Maybe it depend on the point of view.

I really wish that things go back to normal cause I actually like this place. And actually I like you guys.

I'll be honest I was about post some crap until I read that but,

damn, that was a good way of putting it how this place is. I'm no mod but I understand how you feel.

The world is ever changing and to some its a shame but its also a good thing.
