What about V2+ versions of robots, or alternate designs?
These aren't the robots I would enter, but using them as an example. The one on the right "Chicken Biscuit" I have entered in a tournament. The one on the left is designed in the spirit of Chicken Biscuit, and therefore named "Chicken Biscuit JR". It's a completely different robot, but clearly an evolution of the first one. It's never been in a tournament. Would that be an acceptable entry? [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

please enter Honestly I don't see how people have any issues w/ this. Hosts can do basically whatever tf they want with their tournaments, especially since the rules around "personal" tournaments disappeared. Having a small "showmatch" style tournament between the best builders is a pretty cool idea I think, and fits the theme of the Apex Elite "brand", or at least the inspiration behind it. If you don't get selected, first git gud, then enjoy the tournament vids from the sideline. No skin off your back, there's plenty of other IRL tournaments you can enter. Spare a thought for DSL-S builders/boomers past.

Banning 10mm steel seems pretty weird, and the burst restrictions seem a bit overly restrictive to me, especially for heavyweights. Other than that, it looks interesting. It's nice to see a new face around, and more tournament hosts are always welcome!

Bruh I literally started my own private vanilla server yesterday for a few mates. I should've waited and dumped my time into this instead. How much is it costing you p/m?
£15 iirc, 4/6gb of ram for it

Nah got a really small cheapo one, it's like £3.50 every 3 months. Only 2GB RAM but it's about perfect for the small vanilla server I'm running. No SSH access which kind sucks but full FTP access which is nice.
