Overall, I love this AI pack after a thorough play through last night. There are a few AI bugs here and there, but overall I have very few complaints.
Offers for improvements:
1) Updated UI to give it a more sleek look. It is supposed to be a "restocked" version of the game, after all. 2) Something to replace the mindless HS bots (BEAR, LugNut, Tornado) with some designs that carry a bit more authenticity and feel. 3) There are a few bots I find to be on the weaker side, or a few that could use a slight tweak here or there. Ill keep a running list of these as I play more. Iceberg comes to mind, but that has always been a difficult rebuild.
anyways, love the AI pack, I recommend that everyone try it out. cheers.
Thanks for the offers and such. All are very valid suggestions and I will take into it. To address some of the comments with some of my thought process: 1) I wasn't sure initially if I should give some sort of UI other than maybe the splash, but I'll certainly consider it and stir some ideas in my head for what I could do. 2) A lost of the HS bots were to try to pay a tribute to the older version, and I really do want to try and bring some sort of variety in the pack to give a challenge of all kinds. The three you did list were ones I had to really find a balance with, especially BEAR, which I wanted to keep as similar to the Beta version to give some sort of formidable HW HS in the pack. I might just remake that entirely to some hybrid with claws, but I really wasn't sure on how I could strike a balance. It was really tricky to deliver both at times, especially when time is rather limited on my end. 3) This was inevitable. There was no way I can make every bot nearly as good as the rest, but certainly a list could provide how I could tweak them. And yeah, gonna need to overhaul the AI lines later. Those really need some work as well.

Thanks for all the responses! I am actually perplexed on what the exact issue was. I did some small testing on a separate vanilla copy of RA2 and sending the files for the beta, but apparently there was something I must've glossed over. This is the problem when you only really have like one or two people testing. I'll look over it on the weekend, to see if I can get the crash issues working, as well as maybe kinda slightly update some bots I'm not the most proud of upon release (i.e. Mud Runner)
i'm noticing a pattern with my ai packs and i don't like it

I guess a signature bot of mine now is getting the CW treatment: A modular design in it's truest form. Using both the variants of Aggressive Negotiations One & Two. Taking a bot style that can take on flippers and spinners with the respective forms, so it certainly can hold up it's own. Unsure how it works as of now, so maybe a possible future Deathmatch or an upcoming CW tourney could help me find out.

Heat A Deathmatch 3 is here! Division A Battle 1: Easily Solar Storm 3's fight. High Tide just couldn't fight back really. Division B Battle 1: I liked how back and forth it was. Unsure of how I would have to give the nod for in the Judge's Decision, but didn't matter once the fatal flip on U.L.L took place. Division A Battle 2: High Tide just had it rough draw apparently. Hopefully better luck will come next time. Division B Battle 2: Something I never tested much was Polaroid and its battery life. Turns out it's much worse than in first inspection. Ouch. Division A Battle 3: Now THIS was a tricky battle to call. While both the Binary Star Systems were conquering and dividing early on, I think ultimately, Solar Storm 3 OOTA'ing one of them sealed the deal for me, and just kept going afterwards. Division B Battle 3: Polaroid was actually putting up a half-decent fight when it could get under, but power issues strikes again when it got flipped like a pancake on numerous occasions. Division A Tiebreaker: This wasn't nearly as close as the previous due to not flipping out one of the Star Systems, and instead, Solar Storm just bit the dust when the wheel came off. Yeah, I got a crash in this. Hopefully the Star Systems don't keep this trend going. Heat Final: Oh boy, Another flipper for BSS to take down. What an odd draw. Congrats to the first multibot I've seen in a while to go far. Maybe we can get more in the finals...

Big fan of the series overall. Got Ultimate day one, and been enjoying it ever since. Current mains are Chrom and Sonic at the moment, and always willing to improve my competitive skills with such.
Also been playing this game a lot at the gamer's club I have at the community college and where I've been doing most of my competitive work at the moment.

Merry blatantly late Christmas and happy blatantly early new year. Sorry that this took a while. Time and motivation was slightly off track, but we're back. I am tempted to possible at least record this first, then focus recording on RMP2, but if you do feel I should focus both at the same time anyway, then let me know.

Nature Wars 2 Possible Entrant: Got the idea from my near year and a half old Slaying Mantis, and couldn't pass the idea up afterwards. Yes, it's still a bot that inspired by Click's. Just only came up with the idea to make it now because I can't capitalize on opportunities. Looking back, probably should've taken some time to remake the logo and the arthrobotics insigna from the old. Welp.

Oh right I forgot about this thing: This was one of my other entrants for OW3 which actually did rather well in qualifiers. Did its job at being an aggressive bot hence the name. One of the bots I've made that I'm actually rather proud of. Maybe it's the new skin it has.

I feel like an old man building most of my bots from a chassis while you guys are advancing in the extenderbots world. It won't be long before tell kids to get off my lawn with things like this: Turret Hammer CW for 8bean's Pathfinder tournament. Untested as of now, but I might have to make sure the AI doesn't do stupid things before I even come close to sending it. Been a while since I even made one of these to begin with.

Looks pretty good. Really like the bits on the top and back to give that "clean, yet jagged" you described.
Also, congrats on the AU rank.

Oh right I forgot about this: It's not the best, as the hammers are still quite slow on the return, and can get chewed off. I tried a setup shortly after which uses counterweights, but it's still not the best. I also am still trying to figure out a setup where I can make sure it's stable and doesn't flop over on it's head half the time, that seems to happen more times than I'd like. IIRC there's about 3 supervolts in there, which I'm not sure if it's overkill, but I think it gets the job done.

I have received TheRoboteer's second entrant. It is accepted.
And with that, signups are now closed!]
Thanks to all who have entered, and I will get the SBV thread up as soon as I possibly can. However, I can allow any updates or replacements for entrants if you already have entered. So if you wish to update anything that you already have entered, feel free to do so.

I have received kix's second entrant. It is accepted.
Only One Spot Remaining!
So if you got a bot around or have a bot that has to be fixed, I would highly advise fixing it now!

Just checked both 8bean's and NeonCalypso's entrants. Both are accepted.
And with that, signups are closed!
I might get the SBV thread up eventually, but with finals season coming up soon it might be a little tough to get a lot of progress done very quickly. But don't worry, I will make sure this gets done in the best way possible.
