UPDATE 6/27/2020

Accepted: Merrick (Both Entrants), Hobo Drew, F1Krazy)

Okay, after checking quickly on what bots I have, Signups are now offically closed!  Thank you all for entering and sending some great bots.  However, I do want to give some extra time for people to get some updates in to make sure their bots are underweight with the Crash Patch enabled to fix that.  I'll probably give a week at most so I can get some time to also get the SBV thread ready as well.

UPDATE: 6/26/2020

Accepted: Cringey (Secondary), MrMatthews (Update & Secondary), Plerco (Secondary), Primeval (Secondary), Skeptic (Secondary), Geese, KidDelta (Secondary), Kelimpel (Secondary), Double00Rhys2 (Secondary), BotBuster (Secondary), NickyDustyOwl (Secondary), NightRaven (Seeded & Unseeded Update), Hard Bot (Secondary), TheOrcCorp (Both Entries), ThatDiscordGuy (Update & Secondary), NeonCalypso (Secondary), Alloftheman, Evil Toaster (Update & Secondary), Superbomb (Update & Secondary), Gulden, MrBK (Secondary)

WhatAmI (Sedondary) (Usage of a banned cheatbot2 part and unrealistic proportions)

By the way, I will give the seeded number for those who submit after their given deadline, however, they aren't allowed to get the bonus entry privilege that the other seeds have now.  The remaining seeds are mainly for consistency, and if they do send a secondary entrant, then I will ask or decide on which entrant I feel closely resembles the previous entrant.

Alrighty, since the 20 day deadline for the original deadline has passed, the time now has come for Secondary Signups to open!

What does this really mean?  It means that you can send up to two entrants now maximum, and if you've already entered, you can send another entrant of your choosing if you would like.  I also have removed any seeds from their reserved spots who have failed to submit an entry before the deadline.

One last thing to mention: With the Crash Patch and DSL 2.4 out, I will mention this: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR BOTS ARE THE CORRECT WEIGHT LIMIT WITH THE CRASH PATCH INSTALLED.  While this came during mid-signups which I kinda wished I waited a bit more and should've foreseen this to begin with, I do want you to pay attention to if your bot is overweight and/or underweight.  I also really shouldn't have to mention this, but don't deliberately send me a bot you know is overweight due to the crash patch.  The others have an excuse of having the issue mid-signups period, but I've also messaged every bot that is already overweight and sent me fixes and updates for such.

Just asking as 50kg can be difference between ti or steel. So all bots can go 650 or they have to be 600kg. Regardless of patch or not mostly due to weight can make a difference with flippers or how a bot reacts when wedge war happens
I guess to be a little more specific, it was mainly directed at those who have already entered and accidentally went overweight.  Luckily I haven't gotten too many cases of it before then, but I'd say now since the Crash Patch is out, I won't be nearly as lenient on mistakes since people should be aware of it by now.

so if im understanding this correctly bots can be 650kg? which would mean even if a bot is underweight  after the patch you can bump it upto 650kg?
In a way, yeah.  While I would prefer if you didn't go above the intended weight limit with the patch, if it was unintentional and you did go over, I would say it's fine.

UPDATE:

Accepted: TheRoboteer (Seeded Update), Primeval (Update), NeonCalypso (Update)

will it need to stay under what would be the equivalent of a pre-patch 600kg?

Yes, he said he'd be applying the crash patch after signups closed solely for recording fights
^^This

Although after quickly checking every bot even with the crash patch enabled, I do notice some bots are overweight, and I may have to allow some time to let people quickly fix this if this is the case.  I'm just a little unsure on how much this will affect the matches in the long run and what to really do anyway.  I really want to run the matches with the crash patch enabled, but it actually does make quite a difference in bot fights, and it does over-complicate and make things difficult to manage.  There's certainly a good amount of bots underweight as well, and while this isn't nearly as bad of an issue, it's something to inform for people to be aware of.

Edit: After a bit of thought, I'll allow the cap from transitioning from vanilla to the crash patch to be roughly 50 kg, but if you can change it to fit the traditional weight, that would be helpful.

UPDATE: 6/20/2020

I now must enforce a deadline for seeded entrants who have not sent in a seeded entrants for the deadline 6/26/20.  Mainly due to the event that secondary signups are coming soon and I can only keep reserved entrants in for so long.

Also, with Geese's updated Crash Patch which should help improve recording matches, but I'll use this patch after signups are completely full, mainly due to entrants already entered having a certain advantage or disadvantage depending on the components used.  So if you've already entered and you've been accepted, you'll stay accepted.  The crash patch will mainly a post signups period thing.

Received but not checked: Tigerex5, ForceOf2Will

By the way, while you can send any entrants, I won't be able to check them until Tuesday since I'm currently on vacation and unable to access RA2 until later.  Just a heads up.

I've wanted to make a VS with a set of wings for a while, but I wasn't sure how to make the design overall, so once I decided on a dragon, I just went with it.  I wanted to make a dragon head for the supports, but no matter how many times I tried, it just wasn't going to work very well and abandoned it entirely.

Radar_2020.png

Remade Radar again to fit more within the 2020 ruleset and hopefully have a chance in OW5 for phase 3, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get chosen, let alone any bot I've showcased recently.  At least this still has the spinny radar thing on the top, but suited more for realism so the "light" of the radar line wouldn't get cutoff in real life, because as cool as the entire chassis part was, it probably wouldn't work very well if I tried that.

Signups for Deathmatch 6 are now open!

By the way, for seeded entrants who want to submit for their seeded slot, PLEASE inform me what bot you want to use as your seeded entrant when sending me your entrants.  Thanks.

Hopefully this will generate some excitement for the tournament...

By the way, the Beltless Perms, and Belted TMRMs will also be allowed, and the other downloads in the RA2 Download section as well.  Mainly to ensure that components not already included in the IRL Edition of DSL are included.

Wild side is pretty neat.  I just noticed the whole 80's aesthetic that you managed to put into the skin and such.  I guess the only gripe is how stubby it kinda looks.  I don't know, just something about it gives me that vibe.

Still cool overall though.
