Heat G of Deathmatch 4 is now up! Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Two nasty drums and a flipper with a smartzone placed higher than it should be. Sounds like that'll go well. PanDRUMonium really had the weaponry advantage due to Catalyst's drum not quite being strong, and Tsuihou... well trying anyway, better than nothing I suppose. PanDrumonium took the decision here after the crash. Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Puxxgear had a giant smartzone surrounding it just so it can operate the cosmetic gears. I didn't remove it at all, so Puxxgear was just silly unstable. Meanwhule in the fight, Veorra was kicking ass so hard, it got bored of ArticStorm, and eventually bullied Puxxgear into the pit, and took itself out. Quite a humorous fight I must say. Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 4/5) - This was a massacre of a fight, and such a shame too, cause Puxxgear is one of the coolest shell spinners I have ever seen. Like the parts skinned don't actually change performance, those are just cosmetic if you're wondering. But man was Catalyst refusing to stop, so I had to give it to Catalyst anyway. Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - And here we see Veorra's real strength. Being stupid strong. Though Tsuihou managed to get underneath a few times, it couldn't keep the momentum up. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - PanDRUMonium had a strong start, but man were those teeth on Veorra too much to handle. I feel I should limit those things even more now, more than two for a crusierweight might be a little much at this point. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Hey, look at this, an actual OOTA. Not something that happens everyday in Deathmatch. ArcticStorm really had some luck coming in. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I feel this was ArcticStorm's end for their luck, and sure enough it was. Credit for making it this far I suppose.

Heat F of Deathmatch 4 is now up! Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Due to multibot ruling, Binary Star Systems could fight with only one of the twins. Luckily, Orange had better defenses, so it had a better chance with this. Unfortunately, neither Orange or Critical Mach was able to take down the new blood, Kirin, as it just tore everything up. Not a lot to say other than that. Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - At first I wanted to give it to V2 for the decision, but I felt that with EWF taking the weapon off and fighting back rather well in the second half, I gave it to EWF Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Since now the BSS have two bots now, it could show it's true potential, and it took V2 to the cleaners here. Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I guess this is the rare flipper fight in Deathmatch history. Well it took a bit for one to actually immobilize the other, but in a rather creative fashion, Critical Mach managed to do so. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 4/5) - Once again, a one sided slaughter in Kirin's favor. It was rather entertaining to say the least. Too bad the game crashed, but let's be real, Critical Mach was dead anyway. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - A havok at the very end to stop match would've made this fight more interesting... until I realized in editing that EWF was crab walking for the longest time. BSS probably would've just snuck a decision from Aggression and Control anyway. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 3/5) - And the winner of the "Gemini Cooperation Award" goes to BSS. Despite Kirin clearly being on their back, Red, taking down Kirin, and Orange getting in the way, and Orange attacking Red didn't help either.

So this is pretty much my fleet for Mech Madness 3. Took a bit to organize for mostly bots to get improvements, but I think I got enough to feel confident in what I've entered this time around. A lot of bots have been improved from previous versions, so these are mostly bots that have been shown in the past.

Heat E of Deathmatch 4 is now up! Apologies for this being up here late. Had a pretty busy evening yesterday. Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - This match I remember getting quite a few havoks for, and I think most of which I can blame on The Machine. Lucklily this fight was rather one-sided in Duality's favor for the judge's decision, so nothing particularly difficult. Also, just to note now, Duality now can push with its back wedge once the front weaponry gets broken off. I love Apanx's bot exporter. I couldn't get it to work for the longest time, and I'm so happy now since I can actually get the specific quirky AI .pys to finally work! :D Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 4/5) - Due to multibot ruling, Pure Abuse could only fight with one of the twins. But this fight was hectic. Lots of parts being taken off of everything, and luck was in favor for Solar Storm, as both Kopter and Pure Abuse was counted out before Solar Storm got mangled. Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Okay, I dunno how the music got so loud here, but regardless this is where the twins really shined. Poor Cruor wasn't fast enough to flank either of the twins make a statement. Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - This fight was actually close. While Machine spent most of the time in the first half pushing around Kopter being incredibly aggressive, Kopter really took the second half with Damage, and for control, I had to give the nod to Kopter for being slightly more controlled. Again, this was hella close. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Oh boy, this match. Another close fight here. Firstly, I probably could've counted out Kopter, after closer inspection, Duality did kinda keep nudging Kopter while it was on its back, and I knew in testing Kopter was capable of self-righting. The decision itself was close cause while Kopter took Damage and Duality took Aggression, Both bots were in a close stage of being out of control, and towards the end, it's where Duality lacked it the most. Sheesh. Two close decisions in a row, and coincidentally, both have had my bot coming out from the skin of its teeth. I feel I might get scolded for that, but I'll do my damndest to certainly be fair as possible. And that's my word. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - The previous champion wasn't capable of taking on the twins as they took full advantage and tossed around Solar Storm. Shame too, I was hoping Solar Storm was going to make a comeback someday. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 4/5) - A short, but quite a thrilling fight I must say. I was almost certain Kopter was going to get it's ass kicked by the Pure Abuse twins, but sure enough, the blade had some power in it, so it can actually take the twins out. Yay, I finally won a heat! It took me four series, but my God, I'm finally glad I can actually say that!

Heat D of Deathmatch 4 is now up! (Coming a tad earlier than usual, but I gotta work soon, which will interfere with when I have to upload this, so you get an early treat then!) Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 2/5) - Trust me, I tried to get a long enough battle, but either havoks kept interferring, or my game just kept crashing. This was the best take I got. So the decision came before the hacok, where Sarin was causing the most damage and aggression to earn a decision. Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - M.A.D was just slaughtered so it was ineligible for the decision, where I felt that while both were slightly equal in control and aggression, Distributor took it home on damage for leaving more shrapnel flying from Tearaway than Tearaway did to Distributor. Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I think this was the first time this series that one of the seeds were seriously on the ropes. M.A.D was making Legacy looks stupid, and could run with a decision, but the floor flipper gave M.A.D trouble, and couldn't get back the momentum. Shame too, it was doing so well! Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Merrick did choose the Axe config for this, but I guess no matter what config he would've chosen, it probably was going to struggle against the nasty drum on Tearaway. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I think the melee was the first time Superbomb managed to win a battle? Well, that victory didn't last long as Tearaway just ate up Sarin like a hungry rat. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 4/5) - Talk about a gorey fight. Legacy was just tossing Distributor left and right, and ripping that shell clean off until there was nothing left. The match ended with a crash, but it lasted long enough to where I could get a decision, but it didn't really matter. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Legacy just kept on going and would not go down. The countdown probably should've come long before the wheels were ripped off, but Tearaway kept picking at it and juggling it to where it would let go. Eventually I had to give it out, and I'm not just saying that because there was a crash shortly after the cut anyway. Nope, not at all.

My Trio for Orc Wars 4. All have been shown off before, but most if not all have gotten some tweaks to patch it up and improve them then when they were initially showcased. Also, it's not shown on this image, but all now have my new team insignia on each bot so it represents the 'team' a little more than before. Also, I actually managed to AI these to actually work as planned. Still fear that SnowStorm might fire the flipper for no reason, but hopefully it makes use of the weapon nicely this year. Seeing as I planned on having this being the guaranteed lock-in bot (I think that's how it works? The rules kinda puzzled me). V3NOM now can use the back wedge if the front disc goes off, and it is a durable wedge to boot. HeartBreaker is the one I fear the most, but in AI testing, the axe actually can really go in berserker mode in front and behind (if anything goes behind it that is) so hopefully it can put up a nasty fight this year. Good luck to all, and cheers to the Orc for hosting a phenomenal series thus far. Hope it's the best one yet for everyone involved!

Heat C of Deathmatch 4 is now up! Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Well, DJ X wasn't going to go down easy. Needless to say it was quite violent. I almost want to rate this a zero, but at least Proximus actually got it together for a KO and gave some hits, salvaging something I guess. Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Proximus got gored and Coal Miner just didn't really do much, so Tree Hugger kept hammering away took it comfortably. Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Started slow and it didn't really get going. Bored Again took it comfortably, but at least it wasn't taking forever. Unlike... Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 1/5) - So Proximus took down Break You Down without much trouble, and I wish I can say that, but Proximus just kept riding up Break You Down's Face, where absolutely nothing happened for half the fight. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I remember this match took a few tries cause of some havoks that interfered, but man was Proximus getting destroyed. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 2/5) - Neon said he did want to use his Heavy Axe Config for this one. Other than that it was mostly a dance off. Both bots weren't fast enough to flank each other and Bored Again just kept leaning on Tree Hugger to give enough vital damage to earn a win here. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 3/5) - This was quick. Slicing the underbelly of Bored Again and leaving it to rot is proving that DJ X is looking real formidable.

Well, now I gotta look in my RA2 folder for what I could chip in, maybe even AI since I'm having fun with some of the quirky .py files now.

Heat B of Deathmatch 4 is now up! Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Holy similar designs, Batman. This fight wasn't too bad in the end. It seems evereyone took turns tag teaming each other, but it seems that Craplectric just dealt the most punishment and was too fast for Jaguar. Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - From here on out, I wanted to make the immobility timer more visible and a little more consistent so moments like SDB getting counted out wasn't overshadowed by the lack of one since I turned the game graphics off. Regardless, this was a tricky call for me to make. Both Cujo and Pike dealt a lot of damage, but I don't think Cujo had enough aggression in it compared to Pike who was giving both Cujo and SDB a hard time. I felt Pike got the nod for the decision. Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Supersonic really did a lot of the early damage and took control for most of the fight. It was only really at the end that SDB got itself going and ripped the teeth out of Supersonic. Also, SDB ran out of power at the end, which I think also influenced this. Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 2/5) - Ouch. That's unfortunate for Jaguar. They had control of Cujo and would probably get an easy win, but they just had to get stuck on a piece of shrapnel from Cujo. That's honestly a shame. Kinda annoying too. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I guess I could say karma, but really, Cujo was so sluggish it just had a hard time keeping up no matter who it faced. It really just boiled down to luck. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - I should mention that when I was sending out config PMs to builders, and some were a tad unclear. Gulden did say any Horizontal Spinners and/or grabbers to use the wedge, so that's what I assumed from there. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Craplectric was way too fast for Pike to even keep up with. Even the initial hit wasn't enough for Pike to take advantage of. Not much in the end to really say.

toxic hop at it again smh
For real it does look pretty cool. I guess you could skin the disc, but it kinda matches well as is, but maybe a small touch up would make it cooler.

Is that bot in your AI pack, or is there a DSL2.2 default AI that I completely missed
One of the replicas inside 2.2. I forget which team it was off the top of my head, but I know the design is very similar to this.

This thing looked goofy in that video you showed it off, and I love how it looks even more fleshed out it is as a HW. What kind of motor is it using for the "turret" exactly?
For AI help, I feel that ElectricHammer.py or whatever Whack used in DSL2.2 would suffice for an AI like that.

Heat A of Deathmatch 4 is now up! It should be noted I am trying a lot of experimental things for the editing or just format this time. So I apologize for anything unintentionally jarring. I will note I will rate each fight based on recording and watching each fight based on my personal opinion, and express at least some thoughts for what I thought of each fight, or something that should be noted. Qualifier 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - When I was randomizing bots for heats, I was not expecting a lot of the newcomer bots to fight Vespin MkII. Feels like an accidental coincidence, with how Robot Wars back in the day, putting a lot of weak bots to fight the defending champ. Despite them trying to gang up on Vespin, they couldn't keep up. Qualifier 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) -The tussle between Top Hat and Orcatraz wasn't bad, but as soon as Orcatraz was falling apart, I knew it was going to have a bad time. Kinda unfortunate really. Redemption Battle 1: (Match Rating: 2/5) -I actually ran this battle quite a few times cause Sad Slapper always kept finding a way to keep itself parked on Not Copyright and no way to get out. I'm going to need a rule to prevent bots from being pinned on each other, and try my hardest to prevent this if I run a Deathmatch 5. Redemption Battle 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) -In testing, Orcatraz was capable of self-righting, but whenever it gets caught on it's backside, it has a much more difficult time. Either way, Orcatraz needed to get Franken out as soon as possible, but sadly no luck. Semi-Final 1: (Match Rating: 3/5) - Fairly straight forward. Once Vespin got ahold of Franken, it was just a matter of time. The crash in the end didn't affect much. This was just pure dominance for Vespin. Semi-Final 2: (Match Rating: 3/5) - An underweight drum against an aggressive hat? Only one real outcome I feel. Heat Final: (Match Rating: 4/5) - Now THIS was a fight. A real worthy match of a heat final. Many expected Orcatraz to be the one to put up a fight against the defending champ, but Top Hat actually took advantage of the exposed chassis sides to make a close fight. I did unfortunately have to count it out since I knew Top Hat was capable of freely moving on the ground, but as soon as the wheels came off, I had to time it. It's nothing against anyone, but I have to be as fair as I can be. Regardless, it was a damn good fight.

Yeah, gotta agree here. While I love, love, love the skinning and while the disc idea seems cool, it just seems it would fly away and just get pushed off if this was attempted IRL. Although if anyone who has done something like this and made it work, then I would allow something like this. But as of now? Sadly, I wouldn't.

I mean Protostar was neat, but I just didn't say much.
But Pangolin 3? Woah. That is just beautiful man. Does it run out of power often? I can't see much in the power supply with only two battlepacks unless there's other batteries hidden.

Now that I finally got my PC back up for now, I can get this going. Recording will have to take some time, so I'll make sure to find some time for that. For those with Alternate Configurations or Weapons, I'll PM details to you eventually. Does give you some time for predictions or bot evaluations so, maybe it's a benefit.

Kinda showed this off already, but I feel I should post it here just in case: Yes, this is most likely going to be the version of the Juggernaut for the special side event. Kinda took some notes from Craaig/cephalopod's Havox made for GTMRW about three-ish years ago. (Wow already? Damn I just feel old now.) Mostly went with this idea of the Sir Killalot style bot since the saw blade represents the logo of Deathmatch, and really, if a House Robot didn't have something representing the logo, then that's kinda cheating. The claw is the only thing I'm not too proud of. It barely even lifts an opponent, let alone it's own weight. I almost want to scrap the claw for a flamethrower/hammer, which is a version I have here: On the other hand, I fear this might be slightly redundant for weapons, so I'm more or less trying to figure out which would be more fun in the end.

Seeing stuff actually get rejected for sh** like this is pretty refreshing NGL. If tourney hosts stop accepting borderline sh**, build standards are naturally gonna go up as a result.
Yeah, and in this case, I've also had to reject numerous bots for breaking realistic rules so I'm glad that at least some new people are starting to catch on to how IRL can work in the end. Other than that, I'm not picky on how well built or cool it is. Improvements are bound to happen, but in due time I always tell myself.

Well, might as well put these two in my showcase since I know I'll forget again. Basically my bots from the last two unrealistic BOTMs. Both are fun gut-rippers, efficient, and that's more than I can think is enough to say. Frankly, I feel I'm starting to lose my touch and inspiration with stock as a while now, so it was fun to go back for a slight bit, but it's time I call it now. It was fun while it lasted, but I feel I ended on a rather high enough note. I don't want to say I'll never touch stock again, but I feel with how inactive it is now and frankly no one even touching it and how everything has been just done over and over again, there's a good chance I think this will be the time for me to retire in stock. I might just upload a ton of robots or make some sort of montage of builds, but chance of me even making that are looking slim.
