As for my next tournament... well, I'm probably not gonna do one. I'm a dirty liar. GENERAL RULES:- Stock Middlewight - 16 Entrants - One entrant per person, but in the event that signups are going slow, I will allow people to send a second bot. - I'm willing to AI if you are not able to, but don't complain what I AI'd your bot or you will disqualified automatically (It will not change once the SBV thread is up.) - You cannot enter unless your bot is received and accepted. - I won't be entering as I will building some bots for the minigames (See Minigame Rules for more details). BUILDING RULES:- General stock rules apply - Middleweight bots only (249.1 - 399.0 kg) - You cannot use BFE, AAM, Hax, txt file editing, etc. - The Rule of 7 Break is allowed. - AI parts are allowed, including the 140 cm extender. - The only cheatbot2 part that is allowed is the Flamethrower. - The only custom components that are allowed are from 090901's and/or Sage's Skin Pack and Madiaba's Smart Zones. - Smart Zones will not count toward weight, but you cannot use them to act as a ballast - Bots must have two wheels minimum. - Crawlers and Multibots are banned. - Bots will not be AI'd with Meltybrain tactics. - Interchangeable weapons and forms along with Multibots are banned. - I recccomend bots that are the best of your ability, so Jokebots, replicas, IRL style bots, etc. are allowed, but bear in mind that you will be at a severe disadvantage. - You can make an update once and only once (The only exception if it's a skin change or anything minor). - If an updated bot is illegal, then I will use the original bot you sent me. MATCH RULES:- 2 minute length battles - 1 vs. 1 Battle Format - Best of 1 - Main Battles will take place in the Trauma Pit - If a bot does a Havok Explosion which costs the match for it's opponent, that said bot will get a free restart, if this happens again, that bot will be disqualified. - Matchups will be randomized each Round in 1-on-1 Matches. - You will earn the amount of points that you had at the end of every match. - The Winners of the matches will sit on the sidelines, and earn an additional 10000 points. The losers will have to fight for their life in a mini-game. - Survivors and Ghosts will fight among each other in their own respective groups. - Whoever has the most amount of points in their respective group will sit out for one round. - The last bot standing will advance to the final round (See Final Round rules). Minigame RulesLosers will have to try to survive in the various mini-games. If you do badly at the mini-games, then I'll kill you, and then you become a ghost (Ghosts can stil win the game, so don't give up hope). Here are the mini-games you will have to fight each other in: GREED: This will be the first mini-game- You will be battling a bot in the shape of a safe. - These battles will have no time limit. - The arena used will be the Containment Cube ( Reskinned, Hazards off). - The goal is to destroy the safe, but if you score the most or the least amount of points, and you'll be sorry. SUMO: - You will be battling a HW 8-Wheel Drive Rammer - These battles will have a one minute time limit - The arena used will be the Tabletop Arena. - Whoever lasts in the shortest time, or beats the rammer in the longest time will die. CRAWLER: - You will be battling a MW Crawler - These battles will have a one minute time limit - The arena used will be the RA2T2 Official Tournament Arena ( Reskinned) - If you don't beat the crawler in any way, then I'll kill you. BOXES: - Once signups are full, I will PM everyone beforehand on a box to choose beforehand. - Victims will be fighting one of 16 different AW boxes with wheels. - These battles will have no time limit - The arena used will be the Small Arena ( Reskinned) - If you are a safe player, then you will have inserted a bomb inside, if you are not a safe player, then you will have chosen a box to fight. - If the victims choose a box that has a bomb in it, they'll die. KING OF THE HILL: - This will be a four player minigame, and everyone will face each other in a 4-way rumble. - These battles will have a one minute time limit - The arena used will be the LumaZone ( Reskinned) - Whoever scores the least amount of points in the match, you die. DOUBLE TROUBLE: - You will face off against two lightweights. - These battles will have a two minute time limit - The arena used will be the Containment Cube ( Reskinned, Hazards off). - If you lose to the lightweights, then you die. BLOOD BROTHERS: - You will face off against MW Multibot Popups. - These battles will have a two minute time limit - The arena used will be the Containment Cube ( Reskinned, Hazards off). - If they beat you in the shortest time, or you beat them in the longest time, your blood will be spilled. SLAUGHTERHOUSE: - You will face off against a bot surrounded in an extender cage. - These battles will have a two minute time limit - The arena used will be the Small Arena ( Reskinned) - The goal is to tear off as many extenders of the cage as possible. If you tear off the least amount of extenders, there will be consequences. CHAIN REACTION: - You will face off against 3 AWs, 3 BWs, 3 LWs, and 3 MWs. - These battles will have a one minute time limit - The arena used will be the Robo Zone 2 Arena ( Reskinned) - You will face each bot, 1-on-1, and if you win, you will advance to the next bot, with each bot getting gradually harder to beat. - If you beat the least amount of bots then you will suffer. SURVIVAL: This will be the last minigame if two or more bots remain withing 10 rounds.- You will face off against a SHW HS. - These battles will will have a one minute time limit. - The arena used will be the Containment Cube ( Reskinned, Hazards off). - The order of who will fight the HS first will be based on your scores. - If you fail to survive or beat the HS, you die. - This process will continue until there is one bot left. Final Round Rules:Once one bot is left standing, then they must escape alive. Here's how this will work: - These battles will take place in the Ring Arena ( Reskinned) - There will be a two minute time limit - The lone survivor must beat all of the ghosts to escape. - The matchup order will be determined by the scores from the previous rounds, from lowest will fight first, highest will fight last. - Ghosts will have 3 chances in lives to beat the survivor, if the ghosts loses all three lives, then they are out, permanently. - If a ghost manages to beat the survivor, then they can steal the body and they get a chance to escape. - Whoever is the previous survivor will also lose a life depending on how many they had before they turned into a ghost. - The last bot standing will escape and win the game. In case anyone is a tad unfamiliar with what exactly this is inspired by, then take a look at this video as an example. SIGNUPS: 1. Baconus_Yum - T2. DeadGenocide - Hi, I'm Kris Wolf!3. Why not? I might as well. Not bad as it's good for taking on the spinners, but is pretty bad against anything that resembles a popup, like all rammers/pushers It's alright. Pretty terrible when inverted, but that's good for taking on those nasty popups as they can de-weapon themselves when in that scenario. Fun to drive and it's not bad at gut-ripping things. Originally, i had the small rubber treads on this thing, but it was too fast and couldn't be controlled easily. The VS weapons also helped it self right, but now that they are spinning downwards, now I'm not so sure. Can't remember the exact armor these guys have at the moment. Might edit this post later when Battlebots is over. And yes. They're all named after songs Pink Floyd's The Wall album. Might get a whole team ready with these three.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE DSL REBORN AI V2.4Everything here SHOULD be good to go, but please report any bugs necessary. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy and have fun with this pack! Click here to download DSL Reborn 2.0Three years ago, I released an AI pack known as DSL Reborn, which was to replace the original AI included in DSL to greatly improve for testing your bots against anything that would be included in most if not all DSL-IRL tournaments. Looking back, while it still accomplishes the goal I made, it does have some flaws with bots that haven't quite benefited from special component packs such as DSC's IRL Components, which is used on 99% of all bots in DSL nowadays. So I decided to remake it all from scratch, and hopefully everything turned out well. From the builds themselves, the new and improved AI that said bots have, and even other aesthetics included to benefit. This pack might even get a patch to even get updated depending on where DSL 2.31/DSL 2.2 CE Update (or Whatever is happening with that update) goes and included for improvements. That being said: Yes, I would feel fine with this pack being included inside that update project if that's still in development, and it might even get an update in that very patch so who knows. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this pack, and thank you all. Hi. ...Yeah, I'm not so good with names. Click here to download the packI bet a few of you guys are aware about this as I have showcased this about a week ago, but here it is. All the bots in this pack were built and skinned by me. Massive Thanks to Thrackerzod for being a cool dude and beta testing this. This is an AI pack where I've rebuilt the first 45 stock bots in DSL 2.2 with an IRL style. I've done my hardest to make them as authentic and accurate to the original as possible. This pack isn't really meant to test how good your bot is but more-so giving you more IRL bots to fight than just replicas. If you want some updated bots that are meant to test how good your bot is, then get something like NAR AI 3.1. NOTE: This will replace any bots in the first 3 slots for the first 15 teams. The Bindings will also override any custom teams that you may have added on from the first few in DSL 2.2, so beware. If you're curious on what the bots will look like once you download them, you can find all of them here. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the pack. :) Edit: And the expansion pack which adds two new teams which have the remade RA1 Reincarnated team and the Arthrobotics team is released. Click here to download the Expansion PackJust simply copy and paste these files in the current RA2 with your current Reborn AI folder and you should be good to go.

If once, that bot gets a Free Restart. If Twice, that bot will forfeit the match if any of the following criteria occurs: -Havok Restart: The bot does a Havok Explosion which costs the match for it's opponent. -Second Chance Restart: If the loss was from being pinned, (i.e. getting stuck for a reason) But I will only restart if: - A)It has controlled movement.

SBV ThreadWhile I work on those grudge matches, let's get some awards up and going. First off, congrats to these guys: Thrackerzod for taking 1st place, Bobyasianboy for taking 2nd, and Naryar for 3rd and winning the rumble. Secondly, here are the rules: - Anyone can vote. - You cannot vote for your own bot. - Joke votes will be thrown out. The Awards are: Cool & Original: The bot that was different from the rest or looked like something you never see in a tournament. A Fearsome Opponent: The bot you dreaded to face off against since it was built that good. Bad Luck Brian: The bot that had bad match-ups or was just flat-out unlucky with what happened. Crowd Favorite: The bot you wanted to see go all the way. Most Old-School: The bot that you thought was built like something you'd see way back in BBEANS2. You have until 12:00 AM EST on Sunday March 5th, 2016 to cast your votes in. Cool & Original: Tentacle Assault While a slight clone of a Stock MW, it looked good and fought rather well.
A Fearsome Opponent: Black Moon This bot is powerful, fast, has great defenses, and put up one hell of a fight in it's matches.
Bad Luck Brian: EVIL SONIC!!! When I first saw this bot, I thought it would go all the way. In testing, it took out every bot here at least once. But it got put up with Radiant Dawn Storm in the Loser's Bracket.
Crowd Favorite: Not Bushido I mostly chose this bot because it took out Sanic, something I never thought I'd see. And I'm always a sucker for razor guy runs.
Most Old-School: Nuclear Arms Race When Click pointed out that this was inspired by Hedgehog and Interventionism, I thought this looked like a bot that I'd see in 2007, and it probably would've gone far back then.

- 1 vs 1 match format - 2 minute length matches - Best 2 out of 3 - Double Elimination Bracket - BBEANS V2 Tournament Arena (Reskinned) - Judging will determined by the damage points at the end of the match - The Top 4 ranked bots that isn't the Champion or Runner up will participate in a 4-way Rumble.
Restart Rules: The rules about restarting the match will be a little more clear this time. More than one of the below criteria can happen and not penalize you. If once, that bot gets a Free Restart. If Twice, that bot will forfeit the match if any of the following criteria occurs:
-Havok Restart: The bot does a Havok Explosion which costs the match for it's opponent. -Second Chance Restart: If the loss was from being pinned, (i.e. getting stuck for a reason) But I will only restart if: A)It still has controlled movement. B)It has enough battery life for it to actually matter. C)The control board warning is not is on yellow or below. If none of the above is met, then the first match will be the final result of the match. Every match is rated on a scale from 1 star to five stars. These ratings are what I experienced during the match and are all my personal opinion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp0JLHuWDM8&feature=youtu.be*** An interesting start to this tournament. We got DeadGenocide's partial joke bot against 090901's loophole abusing bot. This fight has got it's moments, but it ain't an award winning match. Not Bushido wins 2-1 with 1 WBP and 1 OOTA. EVIL SONIC!!! gets 1 OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_ecxIih9j8&feature=youtu.be#* Holy carp. This fight is slow. There is nothing in this battle that I would consider watching. I mean, there's bots fighting each other, but that's it. You're better off skipping this one. Nigel wins 3-0 with 1 WBP, and 2 KO's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mafCQQcDAM&feature=youtu.be#*** In HS against VS, it's HS who remain dominant, but here, Radiant Storm could attack Nuclear Arms Race before it gets to full spinning speed and attack while it's down. This could go either way. Nuclear Arms Race 3-0 wins with 3 OOTA's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9df6BYefHY&feature=youtu.be#** Pretty slow match overall. Not the worst match ever, as it has some good moments, but they are far and few in between. And I think we all know the victor at this point, though I have been surprised before. Fat Fever wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 TKO. AngryKillerWhale gets 1 OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNRAMi2xeoo&feature=youtu.be#*** Two hybrids with nearly completely different designs are going at it here. One has the advantage on speed and the other has the advantage on trapping, which should make an interesting match. Black Moon wins 3-0 with 3 KO's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuKYI4HoA4c&feature=youtu.be#**** This is a mildly entertaining match with a lot of twists and turns. It may not be the best, but it might keep you on your toes and keep you entertained as you watch S_M's multibot take on a Shell Spinner built by Sage. Ohm's Law wins 3-0 with 3 OOTA's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GrqD2oXa2A&feature=youtu.be#*** This is another kinda slow fight, but it's got some interesting things around somewhere in this match. ERM has got some good power in it's weapon, but it can get caught around the arena from Tentacle Assault's pushing power. EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS wins 2-1 with 1 OOTA and 1 WBP. Tentacle Assault gets 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLxN2AWq3Pc&feature=youtu.be**** This is quite an interesting battle honestly. Flipper From The West has a major disadvantage with it's long flipper and small smartzone where it's most effective. However, one good flip can send Radiant Storm flying. Radiant Storm wins 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv8bAHReFgU&feature=youtu.be#*** Oh dear. AngryKillerWhale stood no chance against Fat Fever, so things are looking worse for battledutchman as he goes up against Metal Smashin', a trapping machine. Poor guy, this was his first tournament and not any slack whatsoever. Metal Smashin' wins 3-0 with 3 KO's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DYjJIOl8Pw&feature=youtu.be#*** As Geice said earlier, this is the third time that he and Sage have gone up against each other in a recent tournament. I guess it was meant to be. Both bots have their advantages and will mostly come down to a wedge war here. Tentacle Assault wins 3-0 with 3 OOTA's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYcPFfx1Jyk&feature=youtu.be*** DeadGenocide beat one of the bots I thought would have no trouble being beaten, so the pressure is on for a razor guy run to occur with Not Bushido. Questions is probably going to show no mercy since it is very powerful. Can Not Bushido do it? Questions wins 2-1 with 1 WBP and 1 TKO. Not Bushido gets 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6260iGVHS0&feature=youtu.be#*** This would come down to a wedge war, and we all know that Nigel has the better wedges compared to Nuclear Arms Race, but if NAR can take off the motors quickly and not de-stabalize itself, it should go through. Nigel wins 2-1 with 2 OOTA's. Nuclear Arms Race gets one WBP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4p-X8VZ2CY&feature=youtu.be#** Battle of the Moderators! I don't think I had one in one of my tournaments yet, but unfortunately, this match is pretty boring. I mean, it has got a lot of big hits from both bots, but literally, that is the only thing worth mentioning in this match. Black Moon wins 3-0 with 2 OOTA's and 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN5OzuARl4w&feature=youtu.be#*** This match depends on who can beat each other faster. Otherwise, Ohm's Law might suffer from power issues and ware down late in the match, making themselves sitting ducks against ERM. It could go either way. EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS wins 2-1 with 3 WBP's and 1 OOTA. Ohm's Law gets 1 OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf5TUxqabvU&feature=youtu.be*** Before I recorded this match, 090901 requested that I adjusted the turnspeed on his bot from 1.4 to 2.5. I agreed, so this match will be interesting. Maybe it will secretly make his bot better, or predictably worse. With double trouble on S_M's bot, only time will tell if this is an improvement. EVIL SONIC!!! wins 2-1 with 4 WBP's. Ohm's Law gets 1 OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sr7nvT6Ytu4&feature=youtu.be#*** Perhaps I should elaborate on what I meant by "stable" in Fat Fever's case. When I meant stable, I meant stable while turning. I forgot to list that Fat Fever is also quite topheavy. So, if Radiant Storm can take advantage of both it's speed and stability, it should have not problem with Fat Fever. Radiant Storm wins 3-0 with 3 TKO's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR_H3kB_8rA&feature=youtu.be#*** Nuclear Arms Race has a massively powerful weapon which even has a fast spin up time. Metal Smashin' is up against it here. It needs to hope that it can trap it fast enough for it to stop the blade before it gets ripped to shreds. Nuclear Arms Race wins 3-0 with 1 WBP, 1 OOTA, and 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmZlRZnMyZQ&feature=youtu.be#*** This match is another wedge war. Normally, this match would be no contest. But, Tentacle Attack has some wedges that aren't as good normal. Not Bushido has all that speed, which might come in handy for this wedge war. Not Bushido wins 2-1 with 2 WBP's. Tentacle Attack gets 1 OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l5WmxVf_Fs&feature=youtu.be**** This match is entertaining as it is ridiculous. Radiant Storm is fast, which EVIL SONIC can't take advantage of with it's gyroscope turning, but EVIL SONIC has the large base to where it can juggle around anything that gets over on it's chassis. This could go either way. Radiant Storm wins 2-1 with 2 WBP's. EVIL SONIC!!! gets 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52Oe2Y7BZS4&feature=youtu.be#*** I can't recall exactly when I did this, but I did some test matches with NAR, and one of those was against Not Bushido. Long story short, NAR wone every time. So I would put my money towards NAR, but as this tournament has shown me so far, anything can happen. Not Bushido wins 2-1 with 2 OOTA's. NAR gets one OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsFR4yoduiQ&feature=youtu.be*** If Nigel can beat Nuclear Arms Race, then it should have no trouble against Questions. However, I think Questions is a lot more dangerous with the amount of weapons it has, so Nigel would lose it's weapons faster and it could put up more of a fight because of that. Nigel wins 2-1 with 2 OOTA's. Questions gets 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd6NoqfYCjk&feature=youtu.be#*** While Black Moon has four times less active weaponry than ERM, Black Moon has the defenses covered with it's ramming hammers. So, as Long as Black Moon keeps it's defense up, it theoretically shouldn't have issues against ERM. Otherwise... well, you know. EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 OOTA. Black Moon gets one OOTA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6df1kV6Ig4&feature=youtu.be**** Radiant Storm has thus far, not lost a single round in the Loser's Bracket. So, with the classic HS vs. VS battle, it's gonna be tough with the low amount of armor and exposed weapon motors on Radiant Storm. Radiant Storm win 3-0 with 3 OOTA's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uaqmGKAh5c&feature=youtu.be#*** It's official. Not Bushido is having itself a razor guy run at this moment, and that is quite impressive. However, this might be Not Bushido's toughest opponent yet. With Black Moon's great speed and weaponry, a simple wedge war isn't going to be a prime factor in this fight. Luckily, Not Bushido can take a hit, and can't be KO'd within 2 minutes, so, maybe it can outlast a war of attrition. Black Moon wins 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 WBP.
I should mention that I counted one KO as a WBP. Well, that's becuse I accidentally forgot to switch the time from 3 minutes to 2. And Not Bushido would've lost anyways, so I don't think I should be too picky and restart that second round. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQPqNysrgao&feature=youtu.be*** Battle of the french members over here. This match decides a place in the semifinal, so the stakes are high. Both Radiant Storm and Black Moon are formidable VS'es, but maybe the weapons on Radiant Storm are too far apart to attack the weapon of Black Moon. Who will win? Black Moon wins 3-0 with 2 KO's and 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQueG8u_OLk&feature=youtu.be**** This match featured quite a number of turnarounds ans other twists. Both bots are deadly Vertical Spinners that have the capability of beating each other down. If Nigel can get to the exposed weapon extender holding the weapon on ERM, then ERM will be easy pickings for Nigel, otherwise, Nigel will get beaten down hard. I feel it's worth watching to see how this ends. Nigel wins 2-1 with 2 KO's. EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS gets 1 TKO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q5uAK-neM4&feature=youtu.be***** I absolutely loved this match. I had a hard time trying to find things to cut because everything made me feel I was on the edge of my seat. It's also very tense in a lot of areas. I won't say much more so I don't spoil anything. Just go watch it. EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS wins 2-1 with 2 WBP's. Black Moon gets 1 KO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQV9mZsSmxc&feature=youtu.beThese two have fought in a great semifinal before, but now is the grand final. Both builders have something to be proud about for making it this far, but one can reign supreme in this old-school showdown. EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS wins 2-1 with 1 KO and 1 TKO. Nigel gets 1 OOTA. But, Nigel was undefeated in winner's bracket, so there is a second life for Nigel as he fights in the Final 2 (I didn't want to include the second set in the main video because people would figure out that Nigel has lost one): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOWlyFU_tBg&feature=youtu.be#Look, this is the final. Go watch it yourself to see who is the winner.

To give a bit of backstory on why I hope to do this, is that kill343gs is (possibly) hosting a dedicated RA2 League that might be a livestreaming tournament. For those unaware, kill has hired three hosts, Sage, yugitom, and myself. I bet some of you know this already, especially if you are in the GTM Skype chat, but I am planning on doing a small short double elimination tournament to test my livestreaming capabilities in preparation for the real deal. Before I even attempt such a thing, I would like some input:
- Do you care what game type of tournament it is? (Like Stock, or DSL-S for example) - Would anyone care to join along and help with some, akin to something like what helloface did with HFT4? - If I do actually try this out, would any livestreaming experts assist me on the ropes of this? (I have never attempted this and I don't want to look like a fool.)
I appreciate all input you may have, and if you do want to ask any questions to me, please speak up, and I will answer to the best of my ability. Also, assuming everyone is cool with the commentary idea, then let me know if you would like to join please. Thanks.
(I also hope this is the right place to put this topic. I feel display tournaments are for actual tournaments that are ready to go for recording.)

Credit to Silver and Firebeetle for making T-One and Blue Moon respectivelyI've been thinking it through, and I notice that many people have classified DSL-S as a dying race and it's now an endangered species (Okay maybe not so much that last part). Every DSL-S tourney that comes around these days, are just looking bland, uninteresting, or just containing IRL bots. It's not DSL's fault, but it's what we classify what is considered good nowadays. So this is what I plan on doing, if this will be one of (if not) the last competitive DSL tournaments in ever, let's end it where it began. Shall we? GENERAL RULES:- DSL 2.1 HW - Unlimited Entrants (But I'd like 12 Entrants Minimum). - I'm willing to AI if you are not able to, but don't complain what I AI'd your bot - A full IRL bot can be allowed, but I severely insist you don't if you don't want to be at an unfair advantage. - You cannot enter unless your bot are received and accepted. BUILDING RULES:- Bots must obey the Realistic Rules - Heavyweight bots only (Minimum: 399.1 - Maximum: 800.0 kg) - You cannot use BFE, AAM, Hax, txt file editing, etc. - No cheatbot2 or custom components at all. - Smart Zones will not count toward weight, but you cannot use them to act as a ballast - Crawlers and One Wheel Drive bots are banned. - Interchangeable weapons and forms are allowed, but you MUST PM me what form you want to use in the match. (or I will select it depending on the match up.) - I will only allow bots that are the best of your ability. While Jokebots, replicas, IRL style bots, etc. are allowed I wouldn't recommend it. (Please make it clear.) - Once your bot is accepted, you can only send an update once and only once. Whether it is minor or major. Multibot Rules:There will be some special portion for multibots if you wish to enter them. Here's how it works: - The maximum number of multibots allowed is 2.
- The combined weight of both both bots must stay within 800.0.
- Bots can weigh differently as long it does not go over the weight limit. For example, you could send a MW multibot at 250.0 and 550.0 kg.
- Both bots must defeated by KO, TKO, WBP, or a Forfeit to move on.
BOT RESTRICTIONS:You may have noticed that I haven't mentioned anything about the Standard ruleset for DSL. This is the main attraction for this tourney. Remember those times where DSL wasn't bombarded with Flail HS's and Razors? I plan on avoiding those types of bots here since that's what DSL-S is relying on nowadays. Here is a list of what can be used and what can't be used: Chassis:- The Dimensions of your chassis must have at least 16 full baseplate grid squares contained. Multibots can have less, but ONLY if they're combined to equal 16 squares total. - The Trov Glitch is banned. Power:- Ant Batteries are banned. - You can use the Intercooled battery packs, but only a maximum of 2. Extenders:- Axle Mounts for Flails are banned. Yep, Axle Mounts will have more uses than just weapons this time. - Baseplate Multi-Extenders are banned. - The CarbonFiber and Polycarbonate Extenders are allowed as long as you only use 40CM of each, other than that, they're banned. - Metal Hinge Wedges are banned. You can use the Metal Hinges, but not for wedges. - Skirt Hinge Wedges are allowed as long as you use a minimum two of the three attachment points. - You cannot use the DSL discs as armor. - Narmour is banned. Mechanics:- Motors with long Axles are banned. - You cannot use the Angled Attachment points on the Perm motors. (Example of what I mean.)- No attaching Baseplate NPC motors outside the chassis, or in other words: This. E-teks are fine though. - In pure flippers and popups only, BSG Motors are banned. Wheels:- Ant Wheels are banned. - Casters are not allowed for armor. - You can have a minimum of two wheels and a maximum of four wheels. Weapons:- The BFFF Flamethrower is banned. - You can only use a maximum of eight of each component that's 14 kgs or less. (Steel Shark teeth don't count in this category.) - If you are entering a popup, you can use ONLY six of components that's 14 kgs or less. Extras:- Attaching Half-Plates directly to the baseplate of your chassis is prohibited. - Small & Emergency wedges can only be used for pure flippers or as armor. Any other use is banned. BATTLE RULES:- 1 vs 1 match format - 2 minute length matches - Best 2 out of 3 - Double Elimination Bracket - BBEANS V2 Tournament Arena (Reskinned)- Judging will determined by the damage points at the end of the match - The Top 4 ranked bots that isn't the Champion or Runner up will participate in a 4-way Rumble. Restart Rules:The rules about restarting the match will be a little more clear this time. More than one of the below criteria can happen and not penalize you. If once, that bot gets a Free Restart. If Twice, that bot will forfeit the match if any of the following criteria occurs: -Havok Restart: The bot does a Havok Explosion which costs the match for it's opponent. -Second Chance Restart: If the loss was from being pinned, (i.e. getting stuck for a reason) But I will only restart if: - A)It still has controlled movement.
- B)It has enough battery life for it to actually matter.
- C)The control board warning is not is on yellow or below.
If none of the above is met, then the first match will be the final result of the match. My Entry *Skin is temporary SIGNUPS:1. RedAce - Metal Smashin'2. Thrackerzod - EAT RANDOM MUSHROOMS3. Special thanks to Lemonism for making this awesome logo. Reforged v2.0 is now currently in development. You can still download v1.1, but be warned, it is horrifically outdated and might not live up to current standards for Ironforge. If you do want to help with rebuilds, then more power to you, and I'd absolutely appreciate it. But there are a few rules to address: 1. It must be built using like a Standard bot. (Standard is pretty much competitive DSL or Ironforge where it's competitive but it must be realistic.) 2. Biggest rule change here. Best come best serve. Ultimately I think this will be the big thing to help with version 2.0. I'm mostly making this rule so the bot can actually put up some sort of fight. Like better than ReForged 1.1 anyway. 3. Keep the style of the original design as possible for the main LWs, MWs and HWs. The rest will be AWs, BWs, and SHWs inspired by the themes of the teams. 4. I'll be doing most discussions for designs in a private discord server. Send me a PM on GTM or discord if you want a link to access. Mostly so I can keep things organized and everyone there can discuss things in a "round table style" for lack of a better term. UPDATE: 8/22/16 - The Pack is released and updated! CLICK HERE TO GET THE PACKI am absolutely sure that everything is included and working here, but I do ask nicely for anyone to report any errors I made and overlooked. Some features of the Reforged AI Pack (Also found in the ReadMe): - 54 Recreated bots from Vanilla Stock RA2 (duh.) - 45 Extra bots that not only are additional LWs and MWs, but AWs, BWs, and SHWs. (All AWs and BWs labeled with an "AW -" and BW -" on their name, and SHWs are labeled with a Purple "S" on their file. Check the "Change your Weightclass.txt" for more details on how to do this) - 6 Bots that are inspired by Robot Arena 1 - A large selection of Arenas not featured when you first download the game. - New component skins for AI bots. - 25 Brand new events and prizes for Team HQ. There are some that's inspired by actual GTM tournaments or some that are original. - Some new menu graphics. - Brand new sound effects. - Some easter eggs for those who can find them. Good luck finding them though. If you somehow manage to find them all from WITHIN the game (or at least how you can), then I might give you something, but I ain't telling you what something is. *All credit of any mods go to their original owners Thank you very much for all of the help and enjoy!

Before anyone asks, This won't be coming very soon. I'm just putting this up for discussion to let people know what I have in mind next and see if people like what tournament has to offer. I do want to host this one, so we'll see if it will actually go through. Now I had this tournament concept in my head for a while, but I ha a bit of trouble thinking of how it would work. While something like this has been done before, I want to try to make things a little more fair and fun without getting complex for everybody. Now that I have all the rules set, let's go over how this will work. GENERAL RULES:- Ironforge MW - Standard Style Building (You can build IRL, however, I wouldn't recommend it since you will be outclassed) - 16 Bots will compete - 1 Bot per Person - I will AI to the best of my ability if you cannot, but don't complain what I AI'd your bot (They will stay when the SBV Thread goes up) - If you wish to use custom .pys for your entry, I will allow them only if they are NOT broken and can cheat. - You can only enter if I receive your bot, and it's accepted. - I myself will not enter unless there is an open spot when signups close. BUILDING RULES:- Ironforge Bots only - Standard Realism Rules Apply (IRL is also allowed, but it isn't recommended.) - Middleweight bots only (Minimum: 190.0 - Maximum: 200.0 kg) - You can use up to a total of four ballasts in your robot and they will not count towards weight. - You cannot use BFE, AAM, Hax, txt file editing, etc. - No cheatbot2 or custom parts at all. - Smart Zones will not count toward weight, but you cannot use them to act as a ballast. - SnS's, Crawlers, and One Wheel Drive robots will not be allowed. - Interchangeable weapons and forms are allowed, but you MUST PM me what form you want to use in the match. (or it will be randomly selected.) - I will only allow bots that are the best of your ability, so Jokebots, replicas, etc. are not allowed. (Please make it crystal clear.) - You can a MINOR change as many times as you wish as long as it doesn't change much of the bot overall, so make it clear that it's a minor change. (Like changing the Razors on your HS to Irons) - Once your bot is accepted, you can only send a MAJOR update it ONCE (Like completely changing your bot), so be careful. (This rule will not apply to bots that have a problem or are rejected. If the updated bot is not allowed or having an issue, the first bot which has been accepted will stay until a fix is sent.) Multibot Rules:There will be some special portion for multibots if you wish to enter them. Here's how it works folks: - The maximum number of multibots allowed is 2.
- Both bots must stay within 200.0
- Bots can weigh differently as long it does not go over the weight limit. For example, you could send a MW multibot at 70.0 and 130.0 kg.
- Both bots must defeated by KO, TKO, WBP, or a Forfeit to move on.
BATTLE RULES:- 1 vs 1 match format - 2 minute length matches - Best 2 out of 3 (Finals will be 3 out of 5) - Double Elimination Bracket - Brackets will be determined by Challonge.com - If there isn't the desired amount of entrants, the ByeBots will be various bots made by 123STW that comes with Ironforge. - Judging will determined by the damage points at the end of the match - Once everyone has entered, I will randomize the seeds to see which entrant gets their Home Arena. - Before each match starts. I will flip a coin to determine which robot will go to their Home Arena and will remain for the three sets in the round. - There will be two brackets. The winner of the two brackets will face off against each other to see who is the victor. All arenas will be reskinned. (Will provide Download Links for testing purposes)
1. DSL Tournament Arena 2. Electric Arena 2 3. BBEANS Tournament Arena V2 4. Keznorg IGC* 5. Robot Wars Arena** 6. ELBITE Tournament Arena 7. RAW Arena 8. Ring Arena 9. Epic Showdown Arena***
* = Hazards Disabled ** = Floor Flipper and Drop Zone Disabled *** = For Finals only Restart Rules:The rules about restarting the match will be a little more clear this time. More than one of the below criteria can happen and not penalize you. If once, that bot gets a Free Restart. If Twice, that bot will forfeit the match if any of the folling criteria occurs: -Havok Restart: The bot does a Havok Explosion which costs the match for it's opponent. -Second Chance Restart: If the loss was from being pinned, (i.e. getting stuck for a reason) But I will only restart if: - A)It has controlled movement.
- B)It has enough battery life for it to actually matter.
- C)The control board warning is not is on yellow or below.
If none of the above is met, then the first match will be the final result of the match. My (Possible) Entry: NOTE: While I do have eight arenas for each bracket, I do want to find eight more so that one bot gets one arena each. I will also count brand new arenas that other people made If you have ny suggestions, then leve them below. Before you start posting, here are some restrictions: 1. The arena MUST have open walls for OOTA purposes. Flippers and the like will have a disadvantage with enclosed arenas. 2. The hazards or obstacles must NOT be too invasive to the robots so matches can have fair outcomes. Yes, even with hazards off. 3. I've already considered a selection of arenas, so don't ask for these as they have already been suggested or I have updated the list. Twiiisted Arena Clash Cubes 3 Arena RA2T#2 Tournament Arena Once again, don't expect this to come very soon. I'm not saying when I am doing this, but I'm not doing this as soon as one could expect. Hopefully, I've covered everything. Got any other questions? Go ahead and post them and I will answer them if I haven't clarified from what's in the rules.

If there is a similar thread with this one, then please merge this with that thread. I do not mean to make anyone's life harder. Thanks.Okay, over the years, Antiballasts are very popular for making SHWs and UHWs as they allowed you go beyond the weight limit to actually make the weight classes that the game did not intend you go to. However, one small problem with these is that they are hard to find since they are outdated, located in various AI packs which comes with files you have to look for with what it contains, or you have to make your own from experience with these. I don't know how simple convenience became obsolete when looking for these. It's like looking around in your messy room just to find to find that one thing you need/want. That's why I am putting up a recently made download with the SHW & UHW Antiballasts already in it without any other huge files that you don't need for these and it's packaged with a tutorial for newbies. Click here to DownloadI also am putting this up so that if newbies or main forum members in general do want to find this later, I ask nicely that this could be stickied so it's on the front page of this board without looking for it when it vanishes into the mists of older threads. I do not wish to waste your time and I just want to help out with finding these easily. But if something isn't working correctly, then inform me.

SBV ThreadOnce again, congrats to our winner: Squirrel_Monkey with Void Beetle! I will get the Grudge Matches up, but while we are at it, why don't we get some awards out. Voting Rules are: -Anyone can vote. -You cannot vote for your own bot -Joke votes will be thrown out. The Awards are: Most Original: The bot that was different from the rest or looked like something you never see in a tournament. Most Artistic: The bot that had the best skin overall and looked the best from how it was built Most Fearsome: The bot you dreaded to face off against since it was built that good. Most Unlucky: The bot that had bad match-ups or was just flat-out unlucky with what happened. Most Promising Newcomer: The bot that was built by a rookie that had that you thought was the best overall. -Reier with 20 second lifespan -Wacky Bob with Ennui -Thrackerzod with Gamma -Lightning S. with Injection -jaydee99 with Kitten -Virus Bomb with Pandora's Key -G.K. with Purple Dot Box -Squirrel_Monkey with Void Beetle Most Original: 20 second lifespan - When you think BW's, you would usually enter a rammer, a popup or a HS. (This is almost like a rock-paper-scissors aspect with the best bots in this class) However, BW VS's are rare as a blue moon since they disadvantages with 2/3 of the usual entries.
Most Artistic: Gundarsaurus Rex - While a copypaste job, it's still a very fitting one since it's theme is dinosaurs. Yeah, a bit of nostalgia is talking here since it's Calvin & Hobbes, but who doesn't love dinosaurs? Honestly.
Most Fearsome: Void Beetle - There was a lot of tough bots here, but Void Beetle was built by pretty much the pioneer of these 1WD designs, and S_M was one that actually used what was in the rules with his entry. You consider it a stupid rule, (and I see why they're usually banned) but I like to consider it studying for a test. (I'm ready to be burned from the flames of hate)
Most Unlucky: Pandora's Key - There was a bad sign when Pandora's Key pulled a Rage III in it's Heat. It was an unfortunate consequence that had the open walls of the arena actually mean something. That something however, was just crap luck.
Most Promising Newcomer: Ennui - This runner-up was a poker I thought would be outclassed by KLPB and Injection, but I was wrong (in one of the two match-ups) and it's the bot that could've stood a chance against the 1WD HS, but it came to an event that it faced the strongest 1WD. Voting end will end in a week from a couple days of inactivity in the thread. Go nuts.
