Signups close October 17, 20131. You must follow the events rules if you plan on entering it. 2. You can enter into all of the events. 3. I will randomize the entries and make the brackets with challonge.com 4. Each battle is 1 vs 1, best of 3 fights. 5. Game type is DSL 2.1 for each event. 6. No multibots. 7. A bot can be updated until the splash is posted. 8. Each bot must show controlled movement. 9. Each bot gets one havok (eliminates a bot because of it) restart. After that, the bot is disqualified. 10. I can AI and make splashes but you can help with the splashes (and AI) you want to. 11. There will be unlimited entries in each event, 12. The bot may represent ANY COUNTRY YOU WANT in the form of a skin. You can check out my flag pack in the mods section if you can't skin well. 13. There can only be 2 representatives from one country in each event. For example, you can't enter a bot based on the U.S. in an event if there are already 2 bots based on the U.S. in that event. 14. The BW's and LW's may utilize the following cheatbot2 components: WEAPONS - Matilda teeth - S3 disc - Diablo Triple Bar - Complete Control weapon
WHEELS - Buster Wheel - Ronin Wheel - Yellow Buzzard Wheel - Growler Wheel - Slap Happy Wheel - M.O.E. Wheel
EXTRAS - All extras from Bulldog Breed, Apollyon, Thermidor 2, MOE, That Darn Dustpan, Hworf, Complete Control, Techno Destructo, Minion, T-Minus, Tornado, Tazbot, Wheely Big Cheese, and Lightning - All The Judge extras except gavel head - All Beta extras except battery and hammer - All Bob extras except flamethrower and top armor - All Vertigo extras except motor - Dominator 2 right top, left top, stopper, bar, wheel guards, and antennae - Heavy Metal Noise tooth - Ruiner cowboy hat and wheel - billybar, billyg, billyg2 - growlerwheelframe - Matilda flywheel (in extenders)

Well alot of you make music so I was wondering if you would want to throw together a compilation album for all of us. We could probably do it through bandcamp, but I just want to know if anyone actually wants to go through with this.

First one is some guys art final. The things crazy, best part is at 10:04
Next one is some MLP collab which doesn't really make much sense.
Final one is pretty much a perfect Spingebill.

Sylandro was in his backyard playing Jarts with his pet squid named Clyde the Destroyer when something caught his eye. A hole had been dug next to the hockey rink by his garage so he went to go check it out. A mole came out at start yelling at him. The mole took out a gun and grabbed his leg and pulled him underground to a full sized city inabbited by moles. He leaned against a lamp post and fell through it to discover the entire city was made out of jellybeans and ecstasy. The mole took Sylandro to the leader mole. When they got there he was greated by Malcolm X, but he had no face. Malcolm told Sylandro that he planned to kill everyone on the surface world who didn't have a last name comprised of one level and he was going to have Sylandro be the General of the army. Sylandro didn't want this so he challenged Malcom to a rap battle. Malcom spat fire so fast that his face de-melted and came back onto his head. Sylandro knew he couldn't beat that so he just licked Malcom's neck. Malcom was creeped out so he surrendered. Sylandro took 13 bag fulls of the jellybeans and ecstasy back to the surface. He sold all the ecstasy to make a fortune through the mob which connected straight back to the Italian government since 1996. He ate all the jellybeans and died of diabetes on a hijacked airplane.

Standar Skinning Techniques (In Gimp) So you want to learn to skin punk, well do you? No problem cause I’ll take you through how to skin and make pretty bots. So the first thing you want to do is grab yourself a copy of Gimp 2.6 or Paint.net. Both are free, but I’ll be using Gimp for the tutorial. MS paint is an option but it limits what you can do due to lack of alpha channels. Ok, to start, get your robot built and click the export robot button at the bottom of the paint screen. If you did work in the paint tab, click the export chassis texture instead of template box. Now you can leave RA2. Go to the custom textures folder. Right click on the template and open it with Gimp. If you just want a simple texture, just copy and paste (under the edit tab after right clicking) the texture over the outlined area and save what you have. Go back into RA2 and import the texture and bam, you’re done. If you want to be fancy, you’re going to have to resize your image. Go under the image tab and select resize image. If you want a lexan skin, size it to 512x512 pixels. Usually you want a 1024x1024 pixel skin though. In theory you could do a 2048x2048 or 4096x4096 but both are ludicrous. Now that you have it resized. Select the magic wand tool. Now go under the layer tab and select the “add alpha channel” button. Now click on each side of the chassis template, including the green part, and hit delete. Then, go under the file tab and select “new” and set the dimensions to the image size you have now. Put the texture you want everywhere, leaving no white. Now copy and paste the original template over the texture. For only certain sides to have that texture, just select the side you want and hit delete. If you want a name logo, find a spot where you can get a logo (I use dafont.com). Hit the print screen and open up a new tab under Gimp. Paste the image on the new canvas. Select the select the wording and cut it out of the image. Hit ctrl+z a couple time so you have a blank canvas. Paste the logo on to the canvas. Next go under the colors tab and select color to alpha. It should already be set to white so just hit ok. Select the logo and paste it onto the template. You may need to go back and resize the logo, again by using resize canvas. Once you have changed the skins size, you can’t use the in game paint tools. To use them, go into the texture library and navigate to what you want to use. Open the image in Gimp and select what you’re going to use and paste it on your bot’s skin. You may have to do some resizing of the image in its original state again by using the resize canvas tool just don’t save any change. All that’s left to do is fire RA2 up and import the template, and there you’re done. I hope this tutorial helped some new players. Let me know if you’re confused in anyway and I’ll help. Thanks for reading!

So everyone's moaning on how the game is dying. So I decided to keep track on how many robots are built each weekfrom Sunday morning until Saturday night is one week. I'll keep track and see where the data takes it. It will constantly be updated so if you see a number after a week, it doesn't mean it's all done.
Week 1 (Feb. 3-Feb. 9): 91
Week 2 (Feb. 10-Feb. 16): 49
Week 3 (Feb. 17-Feb. 23): 104
Week 4 (Feb. 24-March 2): 25
