Alright, so I'm currently trying to get my Windows 7 to be able to play agnest my Windows 7 laptop.
They both can find eachother's LAN games, but when you go to join one of them on either machine via the 'Join Game' button, it says "Joining game" for a split second, and then does nothing. And yes, ive even waited to see if it actually does connect, but it doesn't.
And yes, both of these machines have the same version of RA2(Except for parts from clickbeetle's pack and what-not, but I know that's not the issue)
So what exactly is the problem here?

That's right. J felt like re-creating that old thread from the original RA2 forums. (Mostly because I searched for one on GTM, and found nothing.) Also, if this thread is in the wrong section, then please move it to where it would belong. So lets start off with something a little out of the ordinary:   No seriously, I bet none of you guys ever tried making a control board-less robot before  So feel free to post away with weird/ridiculous/freakish/etc robots you made.

Alright, so I install'd a copy of RA2 to my new laptop and what-not(I ever gave it the 1.3 patch, or what-ever it was called), and I'm having a little trouble here.
Heres the thing:
I Export a robot --> I go to 'Import', and its not there.
I somewhat remember someone telling me how to fix this, just, I cant remember how I did it.
So could someone help me here with the whole "Exporting robots dont show up" gimmick?

This game is wonderful. (Despite the fact how this game did do well in america, and was released back in 2006) Everything about this game is just flat-out awesome. ESPECIALLY the create-a-stage mode, in which people from around the world can create a stage that ranges from ' literally impossible' to 'LOL THIS STAGE IZ FUN' Discuss

Length ratio (world pixels per file pixel): .02
Width (world pixels): 24 Exactly how does any of this have to do with how the TGA is set-up, with its alpha channel and what-not? O,o (like starting point/end point of where it appears on the robot, etc)

I downloaded the pack for the ai parts, and the game shuts down on me when ever I go over to the mechanical section.
Anyone know how to fix this?
