Stock Showcases / J's Idea Box
« on: December 12, 2013, 01:23:51 AM »
Showcase wise, I've decided to start over. No, don't merge this one with my old one, please.
Safe to say I've fell out of the loop, but this time, I'll try some things differently and see what happens.

But anyway....

This is like, what, the 9001st time I've made a robot that uses this exact same body/set-up?
Oh, wait, the difference is that it's also a rammer.
No, not switching weapons. I WANTED Irons for this one.

*Yuma for no real reason*
Card games are still games, so this is legit.
ANYWAY...
I play This game IRL, on the GBA/DS games(Wc06 - Wc11), and online(Dueling Network/Duel Monsters Genesis)
So, GTM, anyone else play card games on motorcycles?

I absolutely love this game.
Grimlock's story is absolutely badass with his flame sword, and fire-breathing Dinosaur mode.
And arguably the most fun part ever is playing as Bruticus.

Also, Deathmatch mode in a nutshell

I'VE STARTED PLAYING THIS GAME AGAIN OUT OF SHEER BOREDOM. SHOOSH.
Skinning robots and parts is 500 times easier in this game:

Add to it, it doesn't seem like this game has any AI folders OR things that mention AI robots. It just has the bot files and... That's about it O,o
(Of course, they are all .gmf files)

So yea, seems like RA1 can be easily modded.
Especially because the Components file is a freakin' notepad file, and one could easily set all the weapons to have like 5,000,000 HP.

I dunno', I've only just started playing around/SnoooPING AS usual through the game's files.

Existing Games / Punch-Out!
« on: April 06, 2012, 12:48:44 PM »
Despite the fact I have the NES version via Virtual Console on my Wii...
I noticed they added it as an app for the 3DS, and thought it would be pretty cool to take Punch-Out! with you, wherever you went.
Oh, and I'm assuming the 3Ds app has save states for some reason(like other Virtual Console games do)

THEN THERE IS THE WII VERSION, WITH THE INFAMOUS SUPER-MACHO-MAN, AND HIS ABILITY TO RELEASE THE BOGUS

Anyway....

Youtube actually has footage of this old game:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voFJgkT0nys&feature=channel#
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4AYzQVAw24&feature=related#
This was such a kick-ass game for the Windows 98.
I remember playing this all the time when I was like 7 years old(Uprising is a T-Rated game, btw...).
And just now, found actual footage of it.

God, such nostalgia.

LDD Showcase #9001

Unlike the other showcases, this one will be purely dedicated to creations that consist of roughly 90% Hero Factory parts.
Everyone can post their own custom Heroes, of course, but as the TC of this topic I will try to post new ones every day or so(Unless this topic dies, which will likely be the case)

So to start, here is something on the "flashy" side:

(By "flashy", I meant I added a background + effects)

Existing Games / Freakyforms
« on: January 04, 2012, 08:45:36 PM »
In regards to the 3DS topic, this one is specifically about the game Freakyforms, which you can buy for like 7$ for your 3DS.
Its a random as all heck create-a-character sort of games, and its quite fun.
They also give you a lot of customization as to what you can make.

Also, I love the fact you can use the "?" ARCARD to take photos of your Formees and junk.
(I'll post pics of some of mine, if you guys want)

Video that features Sage:

Anyway, discuss the first 3 Spyro games.
Spyro 1 was dark, and became awesome because of it.
Spyro 2 is loaded with hilarity, ESPECIALLY the Perma-Super Flame.
Spyro 3 became somewhat of a Mario Party game, with all the minigames. But its still enjoyable.

Existing Games / Laser Tag
« on: August 17, 2011, 09:41:41 PM »
Just got back from playing at Shadow Land Adventures, and figured I would make a topic Laser Tag.
Its enjoyable and a good workout.
Everyone always loves the 'Zombie' game, in which 1 player starts out on the red team with everyone else being green, then each person that gets tagged by a red guy becomes red, and the last green one left gets 500 points, then it "resets" with that last guy being the first red.

Laser Tag discussion, Go.

ARGUABLY ONE OF THE GREATEST SHOWS CARTOON NETWORK HAS EVER HAD.
And don't say "I missed out on being able to watch this show", or "It didn't air over where I live because of X, Y, and Z"-
[YOUTUBE HAS EVERY EPISODE OF THIS SHOW, and then some]
This show literally had all the qualities of a kick-ass show and really made it enjoyable at the same time.
Plus, Coop is one the greatest main characters ever.

Chatterbox / Can I suggest a smiley?
« on: June 28, 2011, 02:23:34 PM »
*Assuming this is the section for that sort of stuff*

Red Extender as a smiley:

:extender: would be the code for it, I guess O,o

I mean we have Spinner from the West as a smiley, so why not a red extender?
Hell, I could even make a razor for a smiley, provided, ACAMS would add it.

So Yea, Ive been playing this a lot recently.
Its quite enjoyable.

A few of the Golden Banana challenges are a pain, but aside from that, this game is awesome.
Oh, and it breaks the 4th wall all over the place.
(....A lot like Pinkie Pie does)

And the versus mode is just flat-out badass.

TBH, this game is my new Battlefront 2.
Except with hats. Lots and lots of hats.
Oh, and I main the Pyro.
The Pyro is fun as heck and easily manages to screw over a lot of Engineer/Medic set-ups.

.....And just for the heck of it, I'm mentioning that this game has MLP servers.
(I have a Pinkie Piero spray, btw...)

If you feel like finding me on TF2, add me. My Steam name is "J_Der"(Though if you cant find it, then try looking for "J-Der". I have the same avi as I do on this forum)

Existing Games / PC version of Starwars Battlefront 2
« on: May 17, 2011, 03:48:36 PM »
Lets discuss the game that I would give my right arm to play.
(No really, I looked up how to run it on Windows 7, and appealingly doing so gives you a security risk)

Anyway....
PC version is better then the other versions because it has so many glitches/tricks in it, which is what makes it fun.
Plus, online chatting is what made it so much better. Especially when they have no-force servers which are enforced with auto-kicking bots and such.
So yea, Vanguards, Magna Guards, Mace Windu, and Vader, are like the greatest characters ever. And of course, theirs also Yoda, who is ideal for getting into small areas/glitches that other characters cant get.

And lets not forget camping in walls with Wookie-rockets. Its so much fun, and you know it.

So yea, discuss this crazy-ass game that I have fond memories of.
