i had an idea of a vs/hammer hybrid in my head for a good while and wanted to build it. for some reason that wasnt enough and i ended up adding some undercutting rad spinners to it along the way. wedges could be a bit better but its pretty effective once it gets under stuff.

barbie did iirc
two seperate base plate anchors.

each facing opposite ends.

then everythings on extenders.

try to stack or fit as many axles in the chassis.

then axle glitch something, and stacking is easy as pie.

you can save weight on some of those bots by cleaning up your extender work and getting rid of unnecessary stuff, for example you dont need that many baseplate anchors on the trinity sns as you can mount both the drive motor and piston on one anchor, similar to this:

the hammer looks good overall but you can once again save some weight by replacing the t connectors on the hammer arms with extenders attached with their side aps (the same applies to the vs with its t connectors), and would benefit from having the plows attached in a v shape to make trapping easier. the vs would also benefit from a wider wheelbase.

originally this was just supposed to be a rebuild of a robot i made over a year ago that i never showcased. i really liked how it was coming out halfway through the building process however, so i ended up making a splash for it and entered it into botm. i've been here for 9 years and never entered botm before, so why not?

here's the original:

also here's a hw drum i made a week or two ago. drums powered by two perm 80s. always wanted to use the heavy metal noise tires.

They tend to cause razors to deliver more damage. If you have more than 2 razors, then round extenders are best. I tried both combos, and Y connectors just proved more useful on some popups.

no they don't they're gonna do the same amount of damage as two razors on extenders. all you're doing is wasting 2 kgs using them over round extenders on popups

they're fine although the generic dustpan would look better, every dustpan bot doesnt have to look like sob, even skorpios had a setup similar to yours

basically a mw moment of violence. seems a bit more stable than the hw.

wanted to make a hammer without actually using a regular motor. the setup for the hammer is pretty much the same as the judge (180 degree servo and judge thruster) and as a result the hammer is strong af and can do stuff like knock drive motors out of some bots without breaking off whatever's covering them. just like jetmax the perm and piston aren't wired and are there to simulate the pneumatic turbine motor that "powers" the hammer.

That's not a pyscolone popup. You need two wedges.

you're wrong pysc popups only have one wedge.

i love all three, especially deathstalker

how well does khole drive? any weird gyro procession?

i cant turn too quickly with it because the chassis might flip over and the whole thing might spaz out. strangely its more stable when the chassis is inverted.

k-hole, mw. could probably make the chassis look better by downgrading to an etek but i like the power of the 4mag.

the poker needs better drive and the weapon setup could be better. 5 razors isnt enough for an unarmored lw poker with no wedges either.
plastic on mw popups with armor is fine, but there is no need to use y connectors for the weapons when you could use simple extenders like everyone else. the snapper holding a spike strip is a waste of weight too.
you dont need to be releasing an ai pack iah
