Far from worried about H1N1.

I'm against this. People need to learn how to stack on their own.

It wasn't intended. Sorry that it came out a clone of some of your bots.

General Support / Collision Mesh Viewer
« on: November 09, 2009, 11:44:43 AM »
Does anyone have a collision mesh viewer that works like F12 in the CD version of RA2? I have the download version, so F12 doesn't work for me. The mesh viewer on Clickbeetle's site is down too.

I probably could slant the sides towards the battery, and the space in the front is for the castors. Sage, would you mind if I see your ARBBC heavyweight entry? I'm a little interested in it.

Got into robot combat about 10 years ago, when Robot Wars used to air. Watched BattleBots until it went off air, and went back to Robot Wars. Found RA2 a year ago and loved it. I still got tapes of those old Robot Wars & BattleBots matches.

6 irons, 6 maces, cb stacked in black battery (my first bot to have this), redbird drive. Probably my favorite bot to use right now. It has a tendency to get under other HS and attack them from below. Holds up against fast razor spinners pretty well. Does okay against popups and undercutters.

Nothing he can do about about the middle blade's symmetry I think. I'm guessing the mace spinner in the splash is Pandemonium?

Original and effective. I love it.

Discussion / Why are DSL Flails Cheap?
« on: November 07, 2009, 03:19:34 PM »
I don't really care about flails. They have their advantages and disadvantages. They might do a lot of damage, but as some posters already stated, they're havok prone and weak against certain bot types.

I believe there was a heavyweight flail vertical spinner that fought in BattleBots, I think it was called Greenspan.

The Last And Dead Unicorn - One iron isn't enough...
ChewCube - I don't know how well saws work on AWs, might fail
Mercury Drone - Should do well, reminds me of one of Click's AWs
Degausser - Bursted AW HS that should do good
Triceratops - I think it could do well, not sure though
Wedgy Bot with a Pointy Stick - Looks dangerous
Murderous Hummingbird - I believe it has DSA? If so, should go far but exposed drive is a problem
HammerHead - Should had went with Irons or razors
Placebo - Not too sure about this one
Sheer Death - Looks dangerous, should go far
The Five year old Arsonist - Reminds me of one of Click's AWs, should do well
Centrifugal Force - Does it have controlled movement?
One Spike Wonder - One iron isn't enough, better than TLADU though
Black Hole's Revenge - I'm guessing the maces will work as weapon breakers, probably might give the HSes trouble
Hypno-Ant - Looks like most bots will bypass its weapons and hit the chassis
