Ra2cf is refering to component freedom. The mod that breaks the rule of 7 and ignores collisions plus it allows you to build over 800 kg without any additional components. I don't know what CE is referring to

What are your plans on the damage side of things? As I couldn't test it I can only assume from the trailer that causing damage is possible again (like taking wheels off). You won't bring in soft body stuff tho I guess?

Some minor feedback from what I can tell:
I tried out the botbuilder by building a flipper.
I'm glad there were tips on how to use some of the stuff. if the botlab keeps the way it is atm they should stay in as they are really helpfull.
I couldn't build a flipper but I guess that has to do with the parts not being available in the lab as of now.
I don't know what the controlls for my bot are. I know that the spacebar spun up the weapon but that's it.
I LOVE that you can shape your own components. that's something I always wanted to have in ra2.
I still have to get used to the motor size. Belted motors would be awesome to have. I couldn't line up both drivemotors on the grid for some reason tho.
and as I said before: Combat is really laggy for me but that's my laptops fault

Just curious, but how old is the laptop, and can it load the game? I’m trying to get a handle on how far back we can go before the game is unplayable.
I'm using a Fujitsu Lifebook E Series. I got it (used) after my old one burned down to write repors on it. It runs win7 and I can start up the game but combat is super laggy on my end. Maybe the Laptop isn't old but crappy as hell.

im enjoying the crap out of this new season. anyone else recording episodes? i kind of caught this part-way through the season i think so im missing a few episodes but ive got six recorded right now iirc and ill upload them if i can when i get the chance (probably after the season finishes airing)

what a ****ing joke this main event was. I'm not a fan of minotaur and the producers are so high up their butt giving them 3 opponents with non damaging weapons whil Mike had to face one powerfull and destructive bot after the other. I really hope to see tombstone and minotaur loose just the finally hear some other names... and yes this is one of these rage induced comments that is written right after watching the episonde.

Google for win rar and get it from their site. Then install it and you can open it with that. And don't worry about it telling you that it's a trial version. It will never charge you for anything and you can use it for an unlimited time. This is on purpose

Its name is Quartz, this font just has a weird Z. I've wanted to build a HW bot with an all-extender flipping arm for ages, and finally, here it is. Flipper's powered by 2 Wide Mediums, and it has 4 black batts. My main concern is that it struggles to self-right, but that should be fixable if I just increase the burst arc a little.
Holly smokes. How did I miss that one?

When I came here no one really built IRL bots. Stock was going stronger and so did DSL-S. I played RA2 for several years before I joined and I was always building what is known as IRL today (or poor DSL-S)
I wouldn't say I invented IRL but I guess I had some influence in it becoming popular back in the day. I was criticised for my bots not being combat efficient until IRL became a thing

I'm pretty sure they are going to make a new one. WH is way to iconic to not have the dome head. Maybe it's not even a bad thing it broke. With todays technology and CNC machines it might come back wit a even better one
