Creativity Showcase / My very own house robot« on: September 25, 2018, 07:28:05 AM »
... His working name is "Jaws", and no it's not Bruce from the blockbuster Jaws from 1975 This is one will be the BIGGEST, heaviest and most powerful house robot yet ever built. With imagination as my only obstacle, I will make sure that this robot won't fear anything, and have no weaknesses whatsoever, except speed.
I am well aware of that I have started on the new Matilda from the reboot. This titan on the other hand, will be the most awesome house robot of all time. His current dimensions are the following (from inside Blender) approximately 2.4 meters long (from front to back), 2.6 meters wide (from side to side) and finally stand at 1.7 meters tall. He will weigh more than a ton. That's for sure. Probably between five to ten tons. His armour will be superior to anything. Extremely thick Hardox. His primary weapon will be, hence his name, a hugely powerful set of crushing, piercing and chomping jaws (possibly on an arm, like Sir Killalot or Mr. Psycho or the late Major Damage, or even Goliath. But this one will be more than twice as powerful as the strongest jaws in robotic combat). The secondary weapon will probably be a huge circular saw, specifically designed to cut through anything. 143

A battle between the insanely destructive Hypno-Disc and a robot named "Hawk Eye". Armoured in kevlar, not too much trouble for Hypno-Disc's disctruction to reign supreme!
Note: Yes, I did indeed change Hypno-Disc's flywheel's damaging capability from impacts and also it's cutting edge https://8d71ia.db.files.1drv.com/y4mLqdwRLTxrIVXbcLYIWw_mSVpqVF-U2-JuWy340bz5Uc0JgiTQLHCGQ5_J8LJGWK7Whey7Z1WW_ZNF0uZnASQizIK0_iVCvYmkE78CUwuJw5dc81ggfwQHHGqNY6W-rKE7NvbPRm6UAQ_0H6G8QskaAhzsEWiZNYeUUXDB7uEX5JDiCevx3shVqi7Rr06DS4tKVrpMuIgakgK98TQxht4TA mod note: gif deembed due to huge file size 144

It's quite an awesome machine. Although the house robots are and will always be my #1 favorites. But Chaos 2, Hypno-Disc and Razer will always be my favourites among the competitors!

All I say is look up his e-mail. It's not a top-secret. But I'll advise not to bombard him with questions. I tried to stay short on words, but I kind of got carried away a little bit. Still, my e-mail to him was at max half-a page, or a little moreā¦
It exists, but just because it does, doesn't mean he wants to, or has time to answer tons and tons of questions. No offense to anyone, but if you want to contact Ian Lewis, I'll advise you to look up his e-mail address yourself. 147

I actually contacted Ian Lewis himself (through e-mail) and he helped me out finding out where this was. Indeed it was televised, just before Mortis televised run, in the replay for Razer, where it bit into Sir Killalot's back end. So, in other words, it was in The Third Wars, Heat P.
Here's that clip: 148

Yeah, I remember this one. But I will probably lay my case to rest, as it seems just about impossible to find this.

Give it a go. What Badger said! I've experienced this issue in other games as well. Some games just doesn't like more than a certain amount of frames per second. If that's not the issue, I will reply later during the day, as I've been up most of the night tonight making a new YouTube video... nighty night! 152
Existing Games / Re: Robot wars Extreme Destruction and Arenas of Destruction on windows 10« on: July 06, 2018, 06:31:36 AM »Hey skull kid, the fps issue worked out fine forgot to respond. But there is an issue with the ai not working bar when pushed into the CPZ so it seems to cause the HR AI to activate which in response the normal ai decides to work. got any fixes? also the game looks like sh** with everything on max also seems like partical effects for the most part aren't happening/working the only one that works is the armour breaking off? Hmm... on which arena is this AI bug? I am mostly playing in the TV Studio, but I can't think of any bugs there. I've actually modded the "rwarenat.txt" which tells the game where the AI can drive and not drive. Coupled with the settings set correctly in the "global.dat", which is under the AI section of the "global.dat" file, I can change where the competitors "can" drive and where they can not drive :) I am patiently awaiting your reply, no rush! 153

Once again, I modded this game! This time, I made sure that the competitor robots will at all cost NEVER freely enter a corner patrol zone. Thanks to some tweaking in the global.dat, and local rwarenat.txt file, that tells the game what spots of the arena are "off-limits" for competitor robots. 157

As of April 27, 2018 I still have to make up a story around my to-be version. I will use the pullbacks, but I've no idea how to efficiently make them move with using my hands. I could use a thin, extremely thin line (like a fishing line) to pull them forward when need be.
As for the plot itself, it will probably be Razer driving around in some abandoned warehouse, and every now and then piercing various scrap metal-pieces. I will be driving Sir Killalot, like in the original video, I will wear a black leather jacket and those black, fingerless gloves. The song won't be the original song (Android Love). I have picked a song for this very... "project" if that's a good thing to call it. EDIT: It will probably not even be Razer, but any competitor robot. 159
