I tried loading the Containment Cube in my game but it crashes. I tried re-downloading and re-installing but it didn't work. As far as I can tell I have the latest HazardsBlueRay.py file (modified in Jan 09? is that right?) and I don't think anything else is wrong. Help?

So based on what he told me about this game, it's going to be a SMB-esque platformer featuring characters from numerous game series. So basically a Super Smash Platformer type deal. According to him he's got a few stages semi-programmed as well as two basic characters (Mario and Yoshi). He's not letting anyone see anything, but he just told me this stuff. Maybe I'll be able to get my hands on a demo at some point in the near future.

So I decided to start a thread for my spriting. It's not amazing so far as I just started yesterday, but I think my first project is coming out pretty well. I've decided to make top-down sprites for each machine in F-Zero GX. So here's my first sprite (not shaded at all sorry), the Dark Schneider. Sprite: Real one: I know it needs some shading, I'll get around to it. 00-Dark Schneider 01-Red Gazelle 02-White Cat 03-Golden Fox 04-Iron Tiger 05-Fire Stingray 06-Wild Goose 07-Blue Falcon 08-Deep Claw 09-Great Star 10-Little Wyvern

Here is the thread for the first ever DSL IRL AI Pack, Live Designs AI. I am always accepting new teams for the pack. Robots must be IRL Realistic and built in DSL. Cheatbot2 parts are allowed as long as they aren't abused (like say spamming Judge Gavels). I will determine whether robots are IRL or not. I will try to make a new release every so often, IE when I get a large amount of new teams, so new releases may be unexpected. I do want some quality robots, noob building will not be tolerated. SUBMISSIONS FOR 1.0.0 ARE CLOSED. If you want a team in this, wait for the next release. https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/LDAI 0.1.2 BETA Patch.rarAlright, here's the 0.1 beta, as promised. It has 16 teams (would be 17 but Freeziez is a douchebag) and two arenas (The Replica Wars arena with Joey's custom skin and the BB 2.0 with no hellraisers)
EDIT: You will need JoeBlo's "Narmour Be Gone" patch for this pack, you can download it here if you don't have it already. Install over a CLEAN DSL 2.1 game.

Post some awesome video game victories here.
For example, on MK7 the other day I was racing online on Piranha Plant Slide. I was 5th at the glider part, final lap, and I got a golden mushroom that allowed me to take the off-road shortcut right at the finish line and win the race. Pure win.

I added PYS AI to my AI folder, and on my other computer it worked fine. Now that I've moved everything over to the laptop, when I try to select a Pys AI team it says "no disc in drive" and crashes the game. Help would be appreciated.

It's back with no sending needed. I have all bots ready, just need to AI the last few. - Press This Easy Button To Die
- Stupid Bear That Isnt A Cube
- Embodyment of the BlockBuster
- Unidentified Ripping Object
- Crawl Through Knives v4.2
- Do Geese See God?/I Did Roll, Or Did I?
- Verbal Abuse to Bodily Harm
- Tribute to Tribute to Mayhem
- Why Don't I Remove Your Limbs?
Try to find your bots in there if there are any. I omitted any robots that weren't combat effective so I could get an entertaining and destructive tournament, so don't ask "OMG wer is emergancy he iz so epik!111!".I will start this tourney after I get the rest of the BoF2 vids up, which gives you some time to make predictions. If you want a pic of a certain robot, just ask.

YESH anyway, this is for discussion of that list everyone was talking about in the RA2 10th Anniversary thread. NOTE: This is not just for amazing bots. Innovation and memorability are also factors. NOTE 2: More than 100 can be considered, and then we can vote off which ones aren't famous or memorable enough. NOTE 3: This is for all kinds of robots. Even custom robots can be considered. Absolute Chaos Alien Queen Alter Ego III (First 9-mace bursted HPZ LW HS) AntonYYYm (started the BSG flipper craze after its BBEANS6 performance) ATOM (another example of what great building and AI work can do) Bane X (The iconic DSL LW FSS) Barbed Obsidian (Luigica's best work according to Sage) Bisector (made invertible and spin motor hammers possible) Blue Ruin (undefeated in its time) Borg Queen (First Starcore bot ever) Bumble Bee (popularizing crawlers and creating controversy) Caesium (If not only for being the most memorable FSS in NAR AI) Centrifugal Fury (Some of the best AI work ever done) Child's Play IV Cheap Norris (When your robot gets a line in most tourney rules, then you know it's memorable) Clockwork Hydra Crawler (first crawler) Crimson (began the Pysc Popup challenge) Dark July (popularizing the "weapon spam" style of building rammers) Dark Void 2 Death Port 2 Death Warrant (One of the best and most recognizable Stock HS of its time) Death of Angels 2 Destroyer (most versions built of a single robot) Digital Apocalypse Diarrhea Of A Madman Domanating's Crocodile (Great example of a successful walker, one of the coolest bots out there) Drumblebee E-Rupt EMERGENCY Enfilad3 (Probably the robot that began DSL MW popups as we see them today, BBEANS4 runner-up) Enturon (Consistently one of the best DSL BW Rammers out there) Event Horizon Final Z (successful BBEANS6 bot, spawned numerous clones) Flaming Whizzer Flying Guillotine Fury (Iconic Stock MW HS) GOD MODE (First Hax Mode bot) Gyratory Revolt (first bot to use servo boosting) Hammer of Justice Hazardous Contraption High Flyer (Wild Robots competitor, famous and probably the most iconic robot in the series other than Uber Chuzzle) High Stakes (First Octane Glitch bot) Hope No More Hypno (Built by MAD Scientist, first showcased FBS) I Will Get Shredded (A famous robot, if not for its great run in BBEANS1 despite its name or looks then for its recognizability amongst the RA2 community) ICED OUT (First Popup) Infection 4 (BBEANS6 Runner-up) Insectoid Insult to Injury V (Immortalized due to its razor guy run in BBEANS5) Ion- (Most famous unrealistic DSL bot, first bot to win BoTM and an AI tourney) Iron Outlaws (first interchangeable bot) Iron Spaghetti (Popularized the use of flails in tourneys) Jex Air 3 (old and recognizable) Korium9's Snake (Proof a Snake replica could be done and one of the coolest bots of its time.) Lame HS (Just for its "legacy", should be ranked really low on the list if it gets in) Leviathan (revolutionized the UHW, not the first of its kind but popularized it and made it into an official weight class) Le\/eL (BBEANS3 Runner-up) Little Darling (Old fearsome bot according to Sage) Logic Probe (The most recognizable AW from Starcore?) Lousy Launcher (Pioneer of metal hinge wedges) Ludicrous Speed (First torque reaction flipper, spawned ReActive and its clones) Mako Minesweeper Morse Code Breaker (innovated a new type of wedge, however the wedge was eventually removed in a patch so this should be ranked pretty low) N00BOT (biggest chassis used on an effective Stock bot) Nasty Pickle (another robot that has named a glitch) Neglected Waterbug Project Trinity Queen Calypso (First IRL tourney champion) R4 Rabid Pit Bull Radial Disturbance (BW Bash Champion, proof it is the best BW out there as of now) Rage III (Drove itself OOTA and started a meme.) razor guy (Coined the term "razor guy run" after its surprise wins in BBEANS1) Ripper (AON1 Champion, another popular Youtube robot) Ripper Swing (First TRFBD) Rotation-Powered Pulsar (Killer SnS) Ryu-Kishin (First BattleBots champion. Proof that IRL doesn't have to suck by beating a substandard DSL bot in the final. Second Sunrise (revolutionizing the halfsheet VS) Seism 13 Shebeast (just as memorable as the other two BBEANS2 top robots) Shinigami (A well-known robot amongst the community) SiegeCraft (The bot everyone saw on Youtube and the bot that inspired us all to create piston bots that could own the stock AI) SkidMark (2 IRL championships and the most successful IRL bot ever. Proof that IRL can be as effective as you want it to be.) SkinHead Slaying Mantis SmashBox 2 SnSnSnSnS Spinner from the west Sweet Poppin' Corns (Best representation of AAM) Symbiote (Awesome, creative design) Tempus Fugit Tha Thumperizer The bot that beat Sage in "Sage Gets Owned" (memorable for its upset victory The Infinite The Orange is a Tasty Fruit (inspired a new, effective VS design that is still in use today) Tornado (The most fearsome stock MW of the original game. Most noobs' biggest fear.) Uber Chuzzle (The most iconic Wild Robots competitor of all time, a popular robot on YouTube) Ultimate Sacrifice (new design with invincible armor) ULTIMATUM (HOJ Slayer) Valid Query 2 (A popular and recognizable robot within the RA2 community, popularized rammers to some degree) Volatile Partisan (First to simulate Mecanum-style drive) Wedge Tracker (BBEANS1 Runner-up) Wicked Chicken (First Chicken Drill)
So you guys can nominate bots, shoot them down etc. Just discuss this.

http://challonge.com/bbeans6_redoI also did a rumble between Infection, Star Dust, WSS and Bane. Bane won by points :P The reason I did this is because this computer doesn't have the nascar or BoF2 stuff on it and I was bored, so I downloaded BBEANS AI. So rage at how well or how poorly you did depending on how well you did in BBEANS XD

I put some of the new NAR AI BWs into my AI for BW Bash and now the game crashes. I tried deleting the new bindings and fixing what I thought to be indentation errors but it won't work.
Help?
edit: nvm, it was the EternalFlame.py that was crashing the game. Dunno why.
edit: nvm the nvm, the bindings still crash even with EternalFlame removed. HALP
