Discussion / Pure bots?

I know of the Pure HW HS, but what of the other types? Like the pure LW HS, or pure SNS?
Is there only a pure HS?

Tournament Archives / Interesting tourney Idea....« on: March 27, 2009, 06:06:42 PM »
While I was browsing the GUMBA thread Naryar posted one of his "Improvements", and that for me thinking about two things:
1) He does know you can't mod a bot halfway through a tournament, right? 2) How about a tournament where after each round the bots that arn't destroyed are allowed to be fixed up, if only a little. 8 bots, loser's bracket and after each round they are allowed to "Evolve" if you will. A VS can be made into an angled VS, then a FS, then a wedged FS, then a Juggler, then a TS, then a single HS, then a Dual HS, then a HS/Rammer hybred, then a wammer, then a popup, then a hammer.... Downside: All perticapants must be active, and the tourney can be slow. It would make for a more strategic tournament exerience, don't you think? 125

Four teams: Yellow, Red, Blue and Green.
Between 16 - 12 players. Players don't know who is who, or does what. At the end of each turn, all players tell me who they vote to kill, or whether they should use their ability. Each team has a better than, an equal to and a worse than. Better > Worse yellow > red red > blue blue > green green > yellow Equal = Equal yellow = blue green = red If a red attacks a yellow, the yellow knows who that person is. red's abilities are useless against a yellow. Neutral teams (red and green) cannot negate any effect. People who have died can post one last time, in a skill called last will. This could be any information at all. People: Attacker Ability: 3 times only. Can kill a second target. Defender Ability: 3 times only. Defends: !) The whole team. 2) a selected person. Information Master Ability: 3 times only. can collect information on any character. Disruptor Ability: 2 times only. Can switch two people's ability's, regardless of team for 1 turn. this is returned back to normal unless one of the client's dies. Information seekers who target a person under the influence of the disruptor are effected, ex: An Attacker who becomes a defender will show up as a defender to the IM. Players: Sage Somebody ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... 126

Pat condells thoughts:
Article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/lawandorder/4603182/Dutch-anti-Muslim-politician-turned-away-from-Britain-at-Heathrow.html Quote from: Gerard Batten We can't do anything about murderers, rapists and paedophiles coming from the EU but they will stop a democratically elected politician from the EU talking about the sources of terrorism. Welcome to UK, run by cowards. Quote from: Mohammed Shafiq His hatred of Islam is based on fiction and his presence in the UK may lead to community tensions. And so the 7/7 bombings were fake, and those people holding signs saying "Behead those who insult Islam" were actors, I knew it! Apparently, Geert Wilders Was not allowed into the UK because a Muslim member of parliment threatened to seige the place if he was. As usual, our retarded politicians couldn't find their spines, and crumbled like a cookie. I disagree with banning the Koran, but I also disagree with threatening people to get a point across. After all this, I wish I could send these Morons over a cliff in a trolley. If I ever get in parliment, I'll try to pass a law meaning Rallies like the one that Shafiq threatened to make will be dealt with force. yes, water cannons AND Tazers. 130

A I was going though the Wikipedia side, Looking at all the bots and such, where I found this little gem. I've downloaded this before, and it is basicly like the Hovok engine, but uses a different design of how it works, meaning you won't get any Hovok explodions, unless you want them to happen. There are multiple shapes and mesh styles, allowing you to have incidents suckh as realistic car crashes and so on. Some people call it an animation program due to it's extremely powerful software. http://www.naturalmotion.com/ele.htm 139
