Lets just get back on topic. Who are you most excited to see fight, personally I'm excited for Captain Doom as D2 Kits always guarantee a slamming (pun intended) fight.

Hmm sure I might enter this, I have a few bots lying around... I might also use this as sort of a test run for Undertow II.

Wow, Poison turned out well, its like the cool kid lovechild of Hypershock, and Poison Arrow. Side note I'm loving the Mouser replica.

You may or may not have seen this on the main page, now that the BOTM results have been announced I feel like its time to post one of my favorite bots I have ever made to my showcase here.
Here is Wingspan.

The whole concept behind this bot is "what if I made a dragon, and what if I made it a house robot?".

That's a lot of ram plates.

This was my IRL Extenderbot entry into this months BOTM, it ultimately came second behind VirusBombs incredible entry "Big Bad Wolf"

As soon as I saw The Big Bad Wolf I was like, no way I'm winning this category, that is one cool looking bot.

Can you order D2 bot kits?
Yes, but they are like 600$ A pop, and that doesn't require other stuff needed for em.

Ok now that looks good, what are the internals?

You are indeed getting better at building.

And we are on Interstate 90

You're from Cali shouldn't you be calling it "the 90"?

You need to shrink the chassis, that’s the main problem
This bot definitely could use some better wheels, a control bot needs wheels with more grip, and the resulting reduced weight from thinning the chassis, and downgrading to Tit 5 could be put into something like techno wheels.

There is a ton of empty space, and the extenders float in areas, you can also tone down the armor as Steel 5 is a bit excessive, Titanium 5 is plenty fine.

Coming soon...

I know I'm in the minority but I actually like seeing well driven D2 Kits fight, they have a ton of power, and do tend to deliver some nice slams.

Welp, end of greedee's tourney xD
It got disqualified in the qualifieres
]
Why? Stacked teeth? Not that IRL?
Actually, OW3 has more than 112 entrants. Since the limit is 112, that bot got rejected along with some others to make space

Tbh I was hoping this one would make it in, it looks cool af.

Seems like a decent thing to link to rather than just posting random ones.

Only problem is that page covers Robot Wars, and that's it.

For that Mecha Rampage inspired bot, I don't see it as a proper IRL bot, due to the fully exposed internals. You should cover them first

Also, for that Whiplash inspired bot earlier, you should switch to flatmotor instead for the disc motor. The TWM3R motor doesn't look good to me imo, plus they are weaker. You can find the flatmotor by typing cheatbot2 (it's case sensitive) in the bot name, and then finding it in the motor section

Tbh there have been bots in the past with fully exposed internals usually to predictable results.

Aftershock (RW) was rejected from BattleBots Season 2 before it entered Series 9.

I can't remember how much one of those big batteries last for, but I guarantee you can get rid of two of them.
More than enough, like I said this was more of an experiment to see if a shuffling mechanism would actually be viable in a potential future bot so the internals were cobbled together in under ten minutes. The armor took longer than I wanted it to though, and I spent way more time on this testbed than I should have.
