I say it is so so... I mean I really enjoy the fights but the building system is a real pain.

You solved the drive motor problem but there is still a major issue with wasted space inside the bot. Also ant batteries are better than Battlepacks.

As far as unique artists go there is this band from my hometown of Richmond, Va that has been active since the early 90's. They put on one crazy live show, however I have never been able to pin their style down. Yes it is rock but there are other elements mixed in.

Song: The Boxer
Artist: Carbon Leaf
Album: Echo Echo
Released: 2001
Genre: Rock/Celtic Fusion

My two wishes for this game is the following: A boxed version, and that, if possible, somebody makes the house robots (all 8, excluding Refbot, and maybe Shove) for the game. If not, maybe I could somehow get my not-yet-existing models into the game, once they're modeled to 100% of course
Seeing how budget games are mostly digital now I doubt a boxed version of Robot Arena 3 will be made, especially since it seems to be closely tied with Steam Workshop. Although with the new chassis design system I think all the house bots could be possible.

Well it's been a year since I last posted in my showcase, and a lot has changed. Most notably Serge had found a way to make the Rule of 7 disappear, and Robot Arena 3 has been announced. So this is my first bot in a while, may I present 7Breaker.

It has a custom titanium shell designed to protect the otherwise exposed drive motors, the armor is aluminum 10. However the trade-off for all this is that it is rather slow, as I have no way to make it into 4 wheels there is no way to fix this.

This is the first bot I have built using Serge's mod that removes the Rule of 7, and I feel I will be having a lot of fun with this mod.

Existing Games / Never Alone (Kisma Ingitchuma)

Review incoming

So I just got done playing Never alone today, and I have to say that it is a fantastic but at times frustrating platformer, my only gripe about the gameplay is when an event mid game drastically changes the gameplay by killing off one of the two main characters.

As far as graphics go this title has it down with gorgeous winter, and spring  (for Foxtales) backdrops. It also possesses gorgeous Native American artwork for the cutscenes, which weave together a traditional tale.

The sound on this game is rather minimalist except for the chase scenes where it picks up. However with the way the game was designed around it's environments a hard hitting soundtrack would not work.

Now more in depth on the game-play, this is a game designed for local co-op. However it can be played single player by switching between the fox/boy and the girl. This is best played with a controller as the game seems to rely heavily on rumble feedback to let you know when the blizzard winds blow.

The bosses are really well designed, and act as sort of a puzzle, anytime you die in this title it is your own fault, as the games difficulty is moderate but unfair deaths are non existent. You die in one hit so you have to be careful but you get rewarded by watching an amazing tale unfold.

I have to give this one a B

Systems: Xbox One, Wii U, PS4, PC, Linux.

Has anyone else played this title?

Existing Games / Re: Robot Wars Advanced Destruction (GBA)

Yeah I remember this game. Although not bad, there really was just nothing that made it stand out you know. The other Robot Wars game for the GBA was way better, yet for the life of me I can't remember what it was called?

This truly is a breakthrough, I am a bit of a pessimist though so I do have to ask? With Robot Arena 3 just around the corner will that put a damper on any future potential breakthroughs like this.

I truly cannot believe with all the brilliant coders, and modders in the history of the RA2 community that it took so long. This has a huge potential to create either amazing designs, or newbies who think they are hot stuff. Probably both haha.

This is by Greenlandic artist Uyarakq his music is an interesting mix of Dubstep, and Chiptunes. If you can't see the vidieo it is region locked to the US and Australia it seems.

Clockwork L'Orange is out, Gemini is in.
According to Reddit Hellachopper also was DQ'd for being too dangerous. That is a real shame as that spinner looked terrifying. Mantis is also DQ'd as well it seems (Replaced by Capt Shrederator). If this is true who do you think will get in, Ziggy or Yeti?

At first I was not that excited as I thought it was a simple cash grab due to Battlebots returning. But now that I am seeing how well the dev's are communicating with the community. This has the potential to be the best game in the series so far. To be fair May cannot come soon enough, anyone have a time machine?

Aside from that I do find it cool how they hid a reference to GTM in the HTML code. I think the first thing I will build when it releases is a bot designed to find the games limits. In other words I will try to break the game first before actually building something serious. What are you guys plans?

132
Thanks for the complements I am taking a break from building for today as I am a bit tired... I will construct more bots tomorrow.

133
Well I have come to the conclusion that Gravitron needs a total rebuild... So in the meantime I may or may not have been watching too many Last Rites/Tombstone fights

Not really built to be competitive, it's just to look cool.

Can't answer I343's question (although I believe nearing all are done) but RpJk, the current build (still not finished) is somewhere over 1.6-1.7GB compared to DSL2's meagre 700-ishMB.
Okay yeah, with a size like that this thing is going on my external hard drive when I download it... I'm guessing the high resolution textures, and amount of content have something to do with the files size?

135
courthousedoc's way better than that other one

try adding some supports on the back btw
Okay I will do that tomorrow for I have to go to bed... Goodnight

No description at all.

138
Because that's pretty much what I go by these days and if I was able to change my GTM username I'd do it in a heartbeat... Oh well time to do some revisions to this bot, although I think removing the teeth would be merely aesthetic and not fixing the wheelie and wedge problem.

Yes there is no 1.0 of the pack available on GTM, and as far as I can tell it does not exist... There are 3 versions of this pack 1.1 1.2 and 1.3 thing is I do not know if they are fixes or what, should I just install them all to the folder?

I do not know if this is in the right part of the forum so forgive me if it is in the wrong place.
I am having an issue with the AU Battlebots pack, I really want to play with it however I install it and the game reaches the first splash, freezes then crashes. I installed it to a stock RA2 V 1.4, is there a patch to make the AI Pack work? I am using the V 1.1 version of the pack.
