You can always find creative ways to build your bot if you don't want to use snappers: (Image removed from quote.) This was built by Sage for doomkiller's stock revenge and was built using dsl's realistic rules. Shouldn't be too hard with the stock ruleset
what a pain that was definitely in for this one. praying for that DSS armor

When I originally made that extender skin i thought it would map all down the side of the extender that had the AP but then that sh** happened and i just kept it lol

always been a fan of the plow setup even though it doesn't do much. I'm really surprised the wedges don't suck considering 1) they are snapperIIs 2) they have the entire robot on the same axle and 3) the wedge is off center from the axle
there's actually 4 snapper total, 2 for the wedges and 2 for the bot. unless you're talking about the how the drive is parallel to the wedges
mb didn't look close enough. No im saying that i've had problems with wedges if they aren't on the axle line (you use a sideways extender to make the wedges wider) but maybe you got lucky or maybe im wrong

Then it's basically who gets the best working bot first, and I feel like spinners and wedges will still be the best working thing anyways.
maybe maybe not. in the last two stock tourneys I entered I won with a stiltz hammer and got runner up with a giant VS. sometimes the meta can be broken- especially when there is no meta

if retooled get's finished let's do the tourney in that mod like a week after release. There would be no meta and it would be exciting. Have multiple hosts to speed up production, dedicated AI team to get through that phase quickly, and perhaps even commentary.
Putting a tournament on one person's shoulders has been the norm but really it doesn't make sense

ayyyy looks like something sage would build and the maces look pretty cool
TIL i have a style. geice has always been mace-master tho it'd be cool to try and see if you could AI it so that one burst fired at the perfect time to enhance the other burst. Could be cool for making OHKO popups... hmm might try that

if they added some "rules" to the bot lab I would actually be mostly okay with the game.
I like the chassis system and the arenas are sick and it has the potential to have online + bot sharing.

approved cause i dont actually care that much but the rules state you have to find a host before you post the match

I'm super impressed with this, and with you for sticking with it. I'd love to see a tournament with this once it's ready to go.

Perhaps it was used for testing before they had new models and left the code in there?
Code to convert the RA2 components? Now that's something I'd definitely like to have(but I guess that part was already removed?)
Why would you need to convert RA2 components? RA3 already has them all /s
