OOOHHH nice rep of Cherub Thyrus and a good job on Beast Pokebro, looks like i have some good competition in the stock replicas area, might as well show off one more of my personal favorite replicas, From Langport in Somerset, Wheely Big Cheese.

Chimera 2, this one took a long time to skin.  The animal and the flames were both sketched out by hand and then augmented with effects.

Ok, now it says "Descend" but it still stays up.  I've tried several 'LinAcusLength' settings, positive and negative.  Am I supposed to wire it with a "Descend" button?  I was using one analog control for it.

If it's not too much trouble, could I have the test-bot you made that has a working forklift?

Do I use the the [] brackets for those?

It says "Lift" whenever a bot touches its smartzone, and "Stop" when there isn't, and it doesn't lower the forks again.  If I touch it again after the forks have been raised, it says "Lift."

Sorry, can you talk me through how to enter debug mode and use that?  I'm not much of a coder.

Damn, how did you get Wheeliwako's chassis like that? Is it using drums? Amazing work as always Resetti!

It's a line of motorcycle wheels, the big ones

So I've been trying to AI a forklift-weapon bot using the Forklift.py (https://github.com/apanx/RA2_AI/blob/master/Forklift.py) but my bot won't drop the forks after the first time it raises them.  I've tried setting linacuslength to various things with no success.  'm unsing the Medium2" length DSL servo piston.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've got components that crash the game, ones that have no preview, and a lot of duplicates, and I just can't be arsed to find & fix the offending txt files.    The AI side is a mess, it'll be easier to list the issues as bullet points:
  • I didn't come up with any creative team names, i just re-used all the existing ones in DSL, and when I needed to add more teams, I simply used a numbering system
  • The robots that pop up in career mode aren't necessarily the most fun to play against, nor are they actually the proper weight classes.  I have no idea which oopponents I'd choose for career mode
  • The robots aren't organized with any rhyme or reason, just chronological order.  There are also a fair number of the original DSL replicas in the pack that I kept for posterity

I estimate that it would take about 24 man-hours to get my stuff into a distributable state, but there haven't been any takers.  It's also worth noting that I don't have an equal distribution of Light-Middle-Heavy, so you'd have to retool things for Career Mode.

Jellyfish.  The arm moves on an invisible burst piston, geared down to be as slow as possible and still be able to move.

Pretty nice Sonny. Seeing that you manged to skin the white, round extenders to fit in a few coloured spots onto the extenders themselves for the classic looks for the Bot's pipes itself. Bloop.
That's correct, it was all trial and error, I opened up the BMP file and put dots on it, and kept moving them around and distorting them until they showed up right. It's an investment, because now I can draw other things on extenders.

Because I need it to work in Resetti's Wars, and I can't find any AI that makes them work
