Actually neat tho, but isn't that a little too much weight for a hammer? It's been a long time. IDK anymore. 106

This is something LRA2 was talking about in his brief stint back with us. Instead of watching a bunch of people with different ideals fight each other about how they like their pixels to fight each other, I'm going to tell you the same thing I told him.
Create a product, test the product, see how people like the product. Then we'll talk. My recommendation to him was to create a ruleset and run an official GTM tournament with it, and if people like it, it works. End of story. 107

They made it fairly clear from the beginning that they knew we existed and were taking things we had been talking about for years and attempted to make them a reality. It was clear to me when I finally got my hands on it that they had a lot of ideas going, but nothing was ever really finished.
My biggest takeaway from the whole thing is that I just wish they really reached out to us proper. We could have helped more from the beginning. There are so many talented and knowledgeable people around here, not to mention how many old faces the project brought out of the woodwork at the time of release. We could have crowdfunded the thing. There's so many things that could have happened differently that could have made this thing a success. I don't hold anything against them. They were a young, small development team working on a fairly niche product and simply ran out of time and money. Business is business. 110

You're more than welcome to keep this up, but definitely try a way to simplify it. Either what's been mentioned or maybe have other people nominate stuff or something like that.

Because it's nice to know that it isn't actually a resounding yes or a resounding no? The vote is close. That alone says something.
I really don't appreciate the attitudes in this thread acting like he's already here pissing in your frosted flakes. I've stated multiple times that I'm taking several things into consideration here, and I don't deserve to be treated like a piece of sh**. 117
