hey man. really appreciate all this testing you're doing. it helps us all out. heaven knows it's not really my thing but I know how vital it is.

keep it up chief.
+1, it's really interesting to see some science done on RA2 and see how it really works instead of assuming from our old preconceptions.

i demand to set my gender as godzilla with miniguns. this is what I identify most closely as.

look at it. this is the platonic ideal of beauty.

Gouge, my entry for Teammates. yeah it's technically a HW but that's well within the hybrid weight allowance rule. (what did you expect me to enter ? hybrids oui oui)

i expect it to do well enough but it probably will get killed pretty fast by flanking gut rippers cuz it only has 3mm plastic. or OOTA'd by the flippers. those flippers are pretty scary. also it's a true popup and not a standard popup so i expect it to be quite a bit worse at KO'ing chassis.

Reminder that this is still open, and you can send bots until the 19th of July. I am currently building something for it.

Also if you haven't sent me team name, feel free to.

intredasting

so jugglers and face spinners and small disc spinners in general are better with piercing and heavy spinners and shell spinners better with concussion.

A spinner ? is it realistic ? I assume you're building IRL, and if you wanna build in that meta there is a fairly complete realism rule to follow.

Can you use normal image hosting instead of thumbnails ?

as for the bot, the chassis poking out of the front wedge and the random spinner teeth confuses me. is that a flipper ? what are you trying to do with that bot ?

some solid DSL-S lineup we've got here. lots of 123 bot clones though, bunch of tryhards. i'm going with jonzu x naryar OTP (yes, really) as my favorite bot but i don't think it will perform that well. otherwise i'm gonna root for madman's bot to win it. or maybe the tryhard VS.

kinda disappointed it opened and closed so fast tbh. but seeing how you've got 70 or so bots in total i can understand why you do not want more. good luck with the tournament, i'll be looking at the DSL-S part.

now that DSL-S is seemingly experiencing a rebirth, yes, a little bit. i won't be building much but some tournaments would be nice

that bot reminds me of something   :dumb)

that's definitely severely underpowered, by 60 amps or so ? might want to get rid of a burst, a few razors, or be insane and use 5wd

Okay, due to poor communication and vacations, someone will not be able to send his bot by the 12th of July. The signups date has been extended by another week, aka the 19th of July..

There will be, however, no updates after that day - splash and brackets will be posted on the 19th.

Alright, I've done a bunch of AI'ing and a fair amount of testing today. I have sent you PM's if your bot is problematic.

ALSO - normally we end signups by the 10th, I will extend it to the 12th so you have a full week starting from this post (also a weekend) to finish sending your bots and building updates. I will accept AI bindings after this date, until the splash is posted.

This also means that teams that haven't sent me anything will be disqualified and we will proceed without them.

If it is needed, I will also use NAR AI bots to use as byebots - to have an even number of teams.
So there will be only 9 teams?
It will depend on who will enter. I'd rather have 9 than 10.

another goofy maximum speed robot. you might see a resemblance of an old bot from this showcase, that's because it is.

3mm plastic. i guess i could use technos and NPC fasts but I think it has more character with eteks. could make it tighter too but that will be at the cost of stability. and it's already not very stable :P.

Of course I'll enter, this is Chinese Whispers, how can I not ? And being a capitain for old times's sake. Though if some new and promising DSL-S builder wants to try being one, I have no issue with giving him my place.
