Gonna say it's alright, but it's far from good.

I've always liked the Gishki. Felt like it would be the better choice now to rebuild and use competitively (note I never run meta decks). I'm not sre how I feel about Atlantean though. I can see the synergy, but they would limit my access to Arc Light and overall rank 4 some. This is pretty much why I go with Red Resonator. Quickly sets me up for Arc Light as well as rank 2 plays.
Also, I main deck the level 10 Kaiju here, which actually works pretty well.

They are known for bricking though.
And that's often the case yeah. I usually go after backrow first, also running generic backrow removal in this. But I don't know if this Gishki is really to be counted as anti-meta. It's just doing aggressive plays like Gishki usually done, just with some newer tools mixed in.

How I did that? Pay a lot of LP while having Gishki do their Gishki things; keep summoning Zielgigas over and over again. then when I'd get low enough on LP, work towards having multiple Zielgigas on field if I don't have that already. Number 35 then boosts everything I have due to the difference in LP.

Honestly I think this can be pretty good vs the meta. Zielgigas is already larger than most of the stuff that Kozmo and PKBA summon. Monarchs with their fieldspell can be an issue, but I can manage. Also Zielgigas can, if lucky with his draw, spin away cards without targeting. So that's pretty good too.
Consistency... Well it bricks less than Monarchs lol. I can usually go around making Zielgigas on my first turn, but I'm still not 100% pleased yet, so I'm still trying out a lot to see if I can make it any better. Case of the screenshot, I figured I'd show what I am working on now. Gishki always been a favorite here.

I've meanwhile been testing around with Gishki... This was my second turn. I think this is decent.

Interesting. Let's see if the game will be more playable then.

I will say that when I tried it, I was not happy. I also don't like how the component moving with the botlap works at all.

And I meanwhile have my Raidraptor deck finished. So I am happy.

I hope I'll be able to see on this on Youtube soon enough.

My friend was actually looking for the new Blue-eyes cards. And me of course for the Raidraptors. Plus I always enjoy the sneak peek tournaments.

Sneak Peek yesterday got me lots of cheapo cards. Only RR cards I managed to get were 2 Pain Lanius (which is decent) and 1 Booster Strix (which is fairly terrible). No-one of where I was polled Skip Force or Ultimate Falcon.
Friend of mine was lucky and pulled the currently most expensive card, Ghost Reaper & Winter Cherries.
I'm not/wasn't that excited about SHVI, tbh. I didn't really care for the sneak peeks because there's nothing too enticing in the set, for me. I never usually run hand traps either, so I'm not looking for a GR&WC.
I never said anything about him selling his card. Just that my friend is a lucky bastard and that I was mostly just sh** out of luck. Looking at prices currently, looks like Ultimate Falcon and Skip Force are super cheap though.

After Eco suddenly disappeared. I thought a little. The current experience remember me why why I stopped playing on DN back when I made my account there. What a load of dragged out garbage that is.
I'm dropping out of the tournament because playing on there is just no damn fun. It's only annoying me.

Note: I can't tomorrow. Then I have a Sneak Peek tournament to go to.

With it starting now it seems like I won't be playing my RR deck. Oh well, DinoGadget it is. Will have to see when we can duel Eco. Tomorrow I should have a lot of time (22:34 here atm).

I'm guessing that screenshot was taken before Dueling Network was forced to remove all card artworks on the cards?
Actually Yugitom provided us with a version that gets pics from a different place.

Link below so you don't have to search around.

And Yugitom that was a few pages back already.

Then call it Mermail Atlantean. Just calling it water is confusing af.

While strong, I wouldn't want to call it overpowered. You can only Pendulum summon once per turn. Pendulum cards when destroyed go to the extra deck, but the summon of one (or more) is negated, when a Pendulum card is discarded or detached as Xyz material, it'll still go to the graveyard. And with how Pendulum based decks are usually made, those cards will likely remain stuck in the graveyard. Banishing and all that other nonsence will still work the same on them.

Banning all water may be overboard. Sure atlantean with mermail is pretty insane, but Gishki haven't done as much for quite a long time tbh.

My deck options are ready. Depending on when this starts will decide what I'll run for the tournament.
