Happy...day, I guess. I got a nostalgia wave out of nowhere. No matter how I try to leave this place behind it just keeps pulling me back in. I haven't built anything or even played RA2 in at least 2 years. And yet like a zombie, GTM shambles on. Is the discord any more active?
Christ, I remember back in 2013 when BOTM was still a thing.

 And the latest creation, metalhead. those wedges actually do something, the idea being to get under, and push an opponent around while cutting them up. took some experimentation with hinges to get right.

got nostalgic about gtm out of nowhere and was drawn back. not sure why, haven't played RA2 since my old PC croaked. Robot Rumble 2 looks sweet, will wait for that to be developed some more. Reminds me of when I was a fresh faced annoyance when I first signed up here in freakin' '10 or so, and wondered why everyone hated me when all I did was argue and antagonise. And the self serving "goodbye" post in the goodbye thread which was one final molotov cocktail to part ways.
But I couldn't stay away. not forever. those posts are such a massive old shame. I don't remember what was going through my head, so I can only assume nothng at all. I suppose for as long as GTM exists, i'll always gravitate back to it. Some old faces from those days still around, others not seen in 5-6-7 years. funny how things and people change so, so much.

I mainly based it off the backgrounds. Some of them where transparent, so I decided to use the actual art instead

now that you mention it, I think I was subconciously going for a more IRL design. it's a bit crap now, I admit but maybe with some help that can be fixed?
that was more talking about the previous lightweight design, which was about as dangerous an an angry gerbil

Again, this looks extremely DSL-S. Razors look terrible so nobody uses them in IRL
it's DSL-S then. I was more trying to make something that'd be decent in combat than something that's aesthetically pleasing. if the disc can get a good bite then it performs rather well.

alright, round 2. shortened it, swapped in a black batt and used lighter wheels. armour is Alu 5. Also, it's name is frostbite.
