DSL IRL 2.6 RW 2016 Arena HW (800kg) 72 bots in total (60 plus 12 seeds) Format is 12 heats of 6, following the Robot Wars Series 10 format (6 bots split into two rumbles where one bot from each rumble wins followed by redemptions, leading to the heat semi finals where one bot wins the heat to reach the semi finals). The heat finalists are sent to two wildcards, consisting of 6 bots each who fight in 3-way rumbles except only 1 bot goes out of each and then followed by a round robin where 2 bots each come out on top This leaves 16 bots split into two Semi Finals in a single-elim bracket for the winner. 3 bots per person, seeded entries don’t count towards the total. DSL IRL 2.6 Arena is the Hangargames Arena HW (800kg) Format is shamelessly based on World War RA2. 18 roboteers are split into two teams of 9 and once teams are decided and a captain for both have been elected, both teams must decide who will build/enter bots based on the following weapon types: -Vertical Spinner -Horizontal Spinner -Rear Hinge Flipper -Front Hinge Flipper -Axe -4-Bar -Hammersaw -Clamp -Drum New bots are encouraged but nothing’s stopping you from entering an old bot. You have a month to send them otherwise you can be replaced with someone else if you take too long Once all 18 bots have been sent the format is a big round robin where bots fight each other and once all of them have fought every bot on the other team the team with the most points is the winner. Points are as follows: KO = 3 points to the winner, 0 points to loser; Unanimous JD = 3 points to winner, 1 point to loser; Split JD = 3 points to the winner, 2 points to loser Spinner Weapon Limits

Dual motors are banned unless they’re a proper dual spinner (Shredder, Blue Demon etc.)
Axe rules :
Max of 1 axe/hammer weapon (Judge, Beta, battleaxe, frenZy, gothic axe etc.)
Common sense if it uses other weapons
Flipper rules :
2 of most bursts (VDMA, magmotors and storm front hinge)
1 beta burst
Top hinges are only allowed 2 mags, no pneumatics
All flipper arcs have a limit of 90 degrees
Other rules :
Clusters are banned due to RA2 not liking them
SnSs (and by extension, meltybrains) are banned due to being broken
All armours in 2.6 are allowed
Cheatbot is banned apart from the OK motor
Rambots are not allowed to have damaging weapons on them unless it’s a flat front (only spikes)
Skirts are not allowed unless they’re used as a dustpan and have proper supports (like S.O.B.)
Eternalflame and Neptuniasys are banned (the former is unrealistic and the latter crashes the game)
Bots with servos are allowed but you must AI them yourself before sending
Skinned components are allowed

Tournament Format:-The format will be a 32 bot double elimination bracket. Although if interest is low it may be decreased to just 16. -The judging will be 5 points for damage, aggresion and control.
