Alright lads I've got a real stupid idea for a tournament
Boring rules Stock MW 16 entrants One entrant per person Double elimination 3 minute fights No BFE/AAM/other wizardry 1 havok restart allowed before the match is forfeited No component freedom, RO7 break etc. Combat arena Skinned components are allowed Multibots are not allowed Robots must show controlled movement Cheatbot2 banned My robot: Gimmick rules All bots must be stilt bots Armour will be BFE'd, the only way of winning will be by immobilising your opponent The bottom of the robot chassis must be higher than or close to the top of a crate Robots will be counted out with a self-imposed countdown as soon as they lose controlled movement If no bot is immobilised in the three minutes, the winner will be based on points Sign ups 1. General Rules: - DSL 3 Heavyweight - IRL realism - 16 entrants max - No joke bots - You can change/update your bot(s) as many times as you like before the deadline - It would be appreciated if you AI your own bot(s), but I am able to do so - You're allowed to enter up to 2 entries - These are the bots I will be entering: Match Rules: - 1 v 1 - RA2T#2 Arena, reskinned courtesy of Redace - Double elimination - Should the match last 3 minutes, the winner will be determined by me - If a bot is to havok, the match will be restarted. I'm having a problem with a multibot that I've AI'd- whenever the spinner gets close to the opposition it will turn around and drive away, this will keep happening throughout battle.

Inexplicably, every time I try to use a robot from one team, it will use the robot in the same place in the team before it. So say if I wanted to use the third robot in one team, it would use the third robot in the team before. If there is no robot in its place in the team before, the game will crash. The robots can be selected properly in the Team HQ but that's it.

Alright, I was told to make a showcase so you guys can help me improve my bots. Starting with the robots I want to enter in the Battlerbots tournament in a couple of months. First robot(s) is a multibot, which was probably a bad idea since I don't know much about them but the idea interested me.
Mercenary Armour is titanium 5 I think, weight is 424.6kg Rhino Steel 10, 373.1kg They've been doing decently in fights, using Badnik's Live Designs AI and they can win most fights. Couple of questions about multibots though- if one of them is out, are they both out? And do the bots have to be put together using BFE for use in tournaments? 12

It's difficult creating realistic or art bots with the limit to how many components you can connect each other. Is there any way to get rid of this?

Hey, I was just wondering if there was a way I could get the 3D model of my robot into 3DS Max somehow? I'm making armour plates for a robot of mine and could use the bot as reference when modelling. Thanks in advance.
