So it looks like Uwe Boll (Called by some as the Ed Wood of the 21st Century) who is noted for some of the worst movies ever made, most are based on video games such as Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne and Far Cry is trying to get people to help fund a sequel to his notoriously bad 2007 movie Postal which was based on the game of the same name.... (As if this will go well)

Simply put, do not help fund this crap.

In case you do not know how bad this guy's movies are, here is the Nostalgia Critics review of Uwe Boll's movie Alone in the Dark this video should show you why his movies are awful.

Existing Games / Atari/Infograms selling all game assets

Atari filled for bankruptcy back in January, now it appears they are selling off their gaming assets.

The major assets being sold include

Roller Coaster Tycoon Franchise which is going for a minimum bid of $3.5 million, Test Drive Franchise which is going for a minimum bid of $1.5 million and Total Annihilation going for a minimum bid of $250 thousand dollars.

There is currently no word as to what will happen with all of Atari/Infograms ips as of yet. Meaning that the future fate of franchises such as Baulder's Gate, Alone in the Dark, Robot Arena and more are unknown.

Atari hopes to make $22 million through the auction.

Atari's last published video game was Special Forces: Team X which released February 6 2013 on Steam and Xbox Live Arcade.

Existing Games / Eternal Darkness Sequel Leaked for Wii U!!

Well it is not technically a full sequel to the game but it is more like a spiritual successor or spin off to the game such as what Demon Souls was to Dark Souls.

But this is huge news! I will defiantly be picking this up for the wii u when I get one and when this is released.

Existing Games / Resident Evil series may be Rebooted

Just recently heard about this, it might happen after Revelations gets released on Consoles and PC this spring.

I would like to see the series hopefully return to its survival horror roots if they do reboot it.

Existing Games / Out of the Park Baseball

Anyone else play or like these games? It is kind of like Football Manager but instead of Football/Soccer it is baseball. It allows you to play in any baseball league in the world including historical leagues for each league and also allows you too create custom leagues as well. And IMO it is 10x better than any MLB or any other baseball game that has ever been released, due to its better customization and such.

Existing Games / Dishonored

So, this is one of Bethesda's newest produced titles.

As it currently is, it looks pretty amazing, and with a amazing look to this, it could have as good of a story as good as Skyrim possibly It also looks quite like what would happen if Deus Ex and Assassin's Creed were part of a crossover this is what it would be. Also if there was one thing I could predict is that this might be the game of the year for 2012.

Anyone else going to pick it up. I am planning on pre purchasing it within the next few days.

This game looks pretty sweet, though it is supposedly not for the faint of heart, as it is said to be as scary as Amnesia.

If it goes through I will definitely buy it on the first day. It is as of now in the beta stages I do believe.

Existing Games / Video Game Tournament

It is simple all you have to do is vote which of the video games or video game series in the list above is best. Voting will be left open for one day only, so make sure to cast your vote.

Each heat at the beginning of the tournament will have a theme to the titles on the list (Best Racing Game, Best RPG, etc.) Which ever titles win in their heat will go on to the next round against 2 other game titles from the next one so two game titles go through per heat. The game titles included will all be non-RA2 so honest opinions on other games can be given.

This should be simple enough, so let the tournament commence

Anyone else here played it or want it, I am hoping to buy it soon. It looks quite fun.

I am hoping to get it because it looks like one of the more interesting games on Steam and also because of some of the custom stories look quite neat. I first found out about the game when I watched Tobuscus, yogscast2 and PewDiePie's play throughs of it so I know what it is a bit like.

A sequel is supposed to be coming out sometime in October of this year

Tournament Archives / Robotic International Wars: Season 4

I am now a major tournament host so...

Rules:

1. Stock LW, Crawlers are banned though
2. No cheatbot2 parts or custom components, AI parts and 140 extenders are allowed.
3. Either 8 or 16 divisions of 4 robots
4. No BFE, AAM and Hax Mode
5. If matches before playoff rounds start are ties it still counts
6. One win is 2 points a tie is 1 and a lose is 0
7. Realistic Rules do not apply. But 1wd robots are NOT allowed
8. Multibots are allowed
9. Bot must show controlled movement
10. Bots will take on all opponents in their division
11. The two bots in the division at the beginning of the playoffs that have the least points are eliminated
12. If there are tied points after division matches are between bots of the division they will fight. The winner or winners go to the playoffs.
13. Unlimited Entries (I would prefer to go up to either 32 or 64 bots) But only 1 bot per person
14. 1 Havok the match restarts 2 havoks the match goes to the other bot.
15. If you have custom bindings send them with the bot.
16. Arenas will be announced, hazards may be turned on depending on how damaging they are.
17. There will be a championship rumble
18. There will be a wildcard if I receive atleast 6 bots more than 32 bots
19. Urjak, Squirrel_Monkey and NFX have reserved spots for getting 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Season 3. Urjak has a Division Swap(He can use this season or a future season) and NFX has the championship title, he may defend it if he wants

Black: Reserved spots for top 3 of RIWS3
Purple: Bot has been accepted and is AIed
Orange: Bot has been received
Red: Bot is not accepted and must be fixed.

Existing Games / Annoying/Raging Moments in Video Games

The old thread we had for this has not been posted in for a bit more than a year so I will create a new one.

In the Movies I created two movies that were hugely successful in the video games box office rankings and 1 of the 2 films was reviewed as 89% Positive by the in game critics and the other was reviewed as 72% Positive and they both gained more money than it cost for the budget to make the films and they were up for awards in the in-game Academy Awards style award thing, and the Action movie was up for: Best Movie, Best Action Movie, Best Actor, and Best Actress. And I thought it would win because it was the most successful movie that year in the game and guess what, it ends up losing the Best Movie and Best Actress Awards to a drama movie created by an opposing studio that had a negative 13% from critics and made only half what my film grossed and yet it still won which shocked me, at least I won best Action film and Best Actor awards. And the other film which got the positive 72% from critics made about 900 Million(My highest grossing film in game) in the box office was up for Best Film, Best Sci fi Film and Best Actor and guess what this time a Comedy film that grossed only 170 Million and received a 69% Positive rating from critics wins best Film and Actor though I won Best Sci fi film. It did not impress me.

But now that I have the expansion pack(Stunts and effects) I can create the sequel to The Hidden Universe and make many more action movies and get many awards for best Sound Editing, Special Effects, Stunts and stuff like that for the upcoming films and not be cheated out of victory by Drama and Comedy films in that

Yeah, I know I went overboard on the posters, but there is also quite a bit more than all the ones I posted.

I have also seen some stuff on Wikipedia on the TF2 Page under the meet the character shorts that Valve are trying to get rights to have movies made for Team Fortress, Half Life and Portal, Could not be true, but still it is worth seeing if this will be possibly true.
