In ra2.cfg change the file where it says "FullScreen=1" to "FullScreen=0", or from 0 to 1 if it's already on 0.

and it still crashes on boot

Try running as administrator or in compatibility mode

it was working fine until now.
I have tried compatibility mode and no difference.
I have tried re-installing the game and no difference.

my robot arena 2 will not boot. I am trying to run it on a windows 10 desktop computer. It is a downloaded version and is version 1.3.

Could you try to update dsl from 2.1 to 2.2 complete edition.
