Oh dear god. I never check this forum. So to address everything: no I won’t be upgrading any bots in the 2018 pack. Don’t like it? Tough. Thanks for saying my works sucks btw, would love to see where your year long spanning project released for free is. Second I’m busy between graduate school, internship, and a job to do much building anymore so if you can’t understand that again tough. The 2019 pack is the better work, that’s on the Good Robottal Facebook. I post updates on there (don’t ask when things will be released, I’ll be the first to say I will ignore it outright).

Whattup, I'm working on a rep of Texas Twister currently and I'm needing help on how to make invisible sections like you'd see on the S3 or Nightmare disc in DSL. I'm using a base extender disc BTW in case that matters. I know Click made a tutorial here many moons ago about switching to .tga files versus .bmp but every time I've tried that it just makes it white? Anyone more experienced know how I could pull this off? I'm also needing this for making invisible flipper panels to give the flipper reps more oomph.

Alternatively if you type in cheatbot2 you can get three "IRL Bursts". You have options of like full power, half power and low power. Everyone has them in DSL so you wouldn't have to worry about making a new component.
NANI?! Where would I find these? Under a specific bot part section in extras or in the motors section?

So really specific question here but I’m gonna tackle a Hydra replica soon and I’m looking to get it to flip similar to the IRL Hydra without using multiple motors so I can avoid that janky uneven reset dual motor flippers get. I know I can edit the motor parameters to be more powerful but at a certain point that I’m not sure when it causes the entire motor to spaz out. What’re some tips to get a really powerful flipper in DSL on a single motor? I could also import in other motors but I’m not 100% sure how since I tried before and it crashed my game
Each burst has a "burst" line in the .txt file for it, so what you could do is copy one of the existing DSL bursts and then have a version with the power cranked way up. Then you wouldn't have other bots being affected by the changes you make
Yeah probably for the best if I kept the motors as custom components for my sanity’s sake. Would you know how far I can go with each value until it causes it to freak out? I tried experimenting around but couldn’t quite hit that sweet spot

Gonna back Orc here, bringing money into this can really cloudy up the whole situation. For one wouldn't royalties have to go to the makers of DSL as well since they provided the platform? For two it really can be an ethical issue since everything here is free, it's why I refused your request for a donation back last year on the BB pack. Again entirely my opinion here.

Isn't that a Valkyrie disc from RWRA2?
It's an "Inertia Disc (Large)" but I reskinned it a lighter blue
How did you manage to bring an RWRA2 part into DSL?

Has anyone managed to AI the bots yet? i'm having some trouble getting it to work.
Right, I’ll answer all of your questions at once: 1- Sadly AI won’t be coming for this version 2- To answer your second question and tie into the first three will be an AI pack with the 2019 edition. Once Battlebots start to announce robots work will begin

Duck. Ignore the distortion of the word "DUCK!" it was unavoidable, I needed to BFE the chassis [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
How do you BFE a chassis like DUCK? Where it goes from a vertical section to angled like on the rear

Just wondering, but does the new link also have a patch for existing version or is it a to totally brand new one?
It's basically a new link but in essence is the same base pack plus a patch of sorts. I used custom components for the first time and to save from potentially crashing everyone's game I just reuploaded the entire pack The final releases will be just patches so this core pack here should be up until Google Drive shuts down or the world ends
