I knew I didn't want to face the HS, not a very good matchup at all and it didn't seem winnable without an arena I can easily OOTA like the ring arena.
I had fairly good luck and close calls throughout the tournament though, so things can't always go my way.
Still fairly pleased with the result, having two bots in the final four was better than initially expected.
Thanks for hosting the tournament Silverfish and congratulations to ThatDiscordGuy and Hard Bot. Was nice to enter one of these again

Such an unlikely win in match 3 vs Blood Moon, after my wedge was off I thought for sure it was over haha. my other matches went about how you would expect
Enjoying it so far, keep up the good work. Glad the frequency of uploads has increased rapidly. Also shoutout to Sawbet for taking a match/getting under Wen's bot match 1 somehow

Love the looks of it, seems super tight, and bear claws always look sweet. cool to see people posting in old showcases too, sometimes you just gotta bring it back to stock RA2
Thanks a lot. Agreed, nice to see some old stock showcases being revived along with mine I really like this build. It will of course live and die by the wedges but it certainly looks cool.
How's the wobble? Are all the front motors on snappers?
(Also I'm not convinced that little notch in the back is saving you weight but probably no other use for the kg)
Glad you like it, thank you. Very true, RA2 moment I did the best I could to optimize them, they're at least pretty decent from what I've gathered during testing. It can outwedge Insectoid usually Ye they're on the snappers. The wobble isn't bad, the side snowplows help a lot

Hey all, it's been a while to say the least. I had the urge to play this game again To those I've rubbed the wrong way in the time I've spent here I apologize. And contrary to previous comments I've made, I'm happy to see this site is still around. I can't say how long my recently regained interest in the game will last, but I look forward to indulging in the nostalgia for at least a little while. With that out of the way, I'll show you a bot I made this month. One of my entries into The Battle Arcade 3:   discarnate - 796.9 kgs
16 bear claws and 2 blacks Was fun to make and what not. The baseplate anchor holding the emergency wedge is exostacked to stick out further and protect the motors. Probably should've used a better inside shot, but thank you for viewing.
