ACAMS: Nice. How's the torque on that 600R. I like the original 'power band' of the 2-cycles. I had a 2005 CR 500 Honda, for a while. Nice power, since I'm bigger; but harder to keep wheelies..
Got some good trails down there? The tree huggers are taking them all away up here. As far as the street goes, had too many close calls there... Lost a couple friends too. I'm staying off-road. SG: Got pics? . 984

Look in the component folder "Power".
BTW, if the component has text it probably has a bmp. 986

Huh, too bad, CB, I didn't know you were working on that chassis, because I just spent 1-2 hours last month figuring out the location of each vertex of that chassis for one of the Housebots in a new arena.
But I like your chassis mods; especially like those 'fenders'. Good idea. 988

What do you need to know from me, Wham? Let me know...
And there are plenty of AI-ers here, (Phil, Sage, Jules, Reier, Haz, Urj,.....) who will be glad to help if asked. .. 989

Thanks, Phil.
1. I'd like to see your "LaserGuidedV2.py ", if possible. 2. I'll send you my crude 'Evasive.py' Module. 3. Tovaner and I worked on some coding commands from the exe, and now he's hacked through a quite a few more of them by himself... FB and CB added their input too. I'll send the latest to you... 990

I really like this bot, SR.
Quote from: Sonny_Resetti;31451 I'm not sure, where would I look to find out?Well, does your bot have a SZ attached to the servo (requires bot file editting, NP)? If not then it is 'servo angle' actuated. In this later case since I don't know your exact coding, send(PM) me your AI.py and I'll show you how to adjust and fine tune it yourself. It can work allot better than it presently does.... 991
Discussion / "Idea" on weight classes« on: March 21, 2009, 03:35:32 PM »
I think CB explained this, but if he didn't:
There are only 4 classes hard coded into the exe. We cannot change this. The exact weight of each weight class is also dictated by the exe,... thus no change there either. Sorry. If I understood CB right, he changed the forth "None" class in the bot file of each of these SHW's and then tweaked the gib and pic to reflect that. IMHO, I think this is a cool tweak... 992

Looks real nice SR. Only thing is youneed to tweak it's firing angle so that it is pointing at the target when it fires... Did you use a Smart-Zone or servo-angle to trigger the weapon?

General Support / How to do Evasive Manuevers PY?« on: March 16, 2009, 10:04:39 AM »
Well Phil, most of my coding was done in the AI.py, and not in the Tactics.py...where I think it should be done (and it looks like you agree). I talked with Trov as he mentioned, and also CB about this yesterday. What I can roughly surmise so far is a Tactic that:
1. keeps the nose pointing toward nearestenemy (so keep regular LeftRight steering in situ). 2. but will (a) reverse directly away from nearestenemy for only a certain distance/'range', or (b) pick a location in back of it to back up to(like Rammer.py). 3. check for 'IsStraightPathClear' (don't know if this c 4. keep the bot proximal to the center of the arena (via basic getLocation) so it doesn't get trapped. I'll look at your tweak here and get back... 1000
