I pretty much always used the Byzantines when I played. I just found them really good for whatever reason, iirc they get bombard towers which I always lined my base with.
Anyone else ever get the Age of Chivalry mod for AoE II? I didn't expect much but it was actually a very good mod.
I haven't but i might look into it, did anyone find the hidden part in AoEII campaign? (I forget which one) I found a mod which allowed you to use it in map creator

Well longbow men have a base range of 7 odd and monks have 9 Iirc, plus I was having it attack the monk while the other troops were attacking the enemy's troops, outranging is key, also I find Teutons, Chinese, Byzantines and the Turks really good

Have you ever felt that a robot dissapointed you could have returned with a different design to go far? Ever had thoughts for that design? designed it yourself on drawings, RA2, models? Well post it here, I'm gonna start off with:
Roadblock/ Beast of Bodmin
Roadblock didn't improve at all for the 2nd wars and they could have at least made another weapon for it, so when it came for series 3 as Beast of Bodmin, they had seen the srimech used, so they could have made a better flipper and improved it throughout the other series, so I was disappointed with their machine.

aztecs... well it's all about MOAR infantry and monk spam backed up by siege onagers. tbh i don't have the full aztec experience because I only used infantry and monks without siege onager support.
About the expansion pack there's one thing that I don't like and it's Heresy. It nerfs monks so badly, it's not even funny; they are just useful for healing now.
Actually, only some nations get it, thats what annoys me about being the britons, Longarchers vs monk fight: converted...  Siege onagers are op, if they have built into the forest you can delete the forest and sneak into their base and they do quite a lot of damage. So are aztec monks, I had a group of 25 and had them all convert the enemy's troops, 75% of them got converted  The Jaguar warriors are ridiculous, having 25 attack creams even a castle So yeah, the Triple Aztec experiance is a must

Yeah this thread is going to be bollocks. The majority of people who like Robot Wars don't have a clue what funny is and Robot Wars wasn't really something that you can use to make something funny. This thread isn't going to happen, give up.
I've always had a different style of humour to everyone else, runs in my family, if you don't like this thread, fair enough but I found some of these funny and wanted to share them, but I accept your opinion

Another thing to add to the list, Also what makes it messy?
The frame looks very loose. It's quite a bit away from the wheels and chassis.
Also the extenders are wonky here:

For next time, try to use only DSL bars for larger frames and only flippermakers for shorter frames as they usually look better than extender frames.
The multi extenders are little bit**** to match up, but I'll see what I can do messy indeed, fix that in priority. otherwise it looks OK. Make it a good HS/rammer.
