Those e-teks are not suitable for drive. There are drive e-teks that you could use instead.

Tournament Archives / RA2 Mafia - SIGNUPS (CLOSED)« on: April 01, 2017, 01:48:30 PM »
Ok how many of you guys have played Mafia before? I just got this idea thanks to Thrackerzod's prisoner-dilemma tournament and i like it so i'm going to roll with it.
-Stock MW -Maximum of 24 entrants, minimum of 16. Once I receive 16 robots the tournament will close 24 hours later. -BFE, AAM, RA2CF, Hax Mode, etc are all banned. Your robot must be built completely in the bot lab with no external programs (movepixel is ok, if you actually still use that) -Cheatbot2 parts are banned. -No AI wizardry. Looking at you, Apanx. -Robots must show controlled movement. -Melty-brain AI is not allowed. -Matches last for one minute and will take place in the Containment Cube. -Game-altering havoks will not be shown. Excessively havoky robots will be rejected. -Re-entries from Crapcan Derby 2 will not be accepted. -Multibots are allowed and must add up to 398.9 kg or less. -No updates will be allowed. Once you send your robot, that's it. Now here's the fun part of this tournament. It doesn't use a regular format, instead everyone that sends me a robot will be given a certain role, based on a mafia role. The game starts in "night phase", and posting in the thread is forbidden. Instead, if you have a role that allows for a night action, you can PM me a target and your night action will take place. After 24 hours, the phase shifts to "day phase" which lasts 48 hours. You are given the results of the previous night's actions including any dead players. Everyone can post in the thread to discuss the previous night's actions and decide who to lynch (kill) per day. Everyone gets one vote as to who to kill, and you can change that vote however many times you want to until the phase ends. Then another night phase begins, and so on until one faction (town, mafia, or a third party) is the only one left standing. These roles will be outlined below. Where does RA2 come into this? Every time a killing action is made, whether it be a night kill or a lynch, the kill will be decided in an RA2 battle. You have one minute to kill your opponent, if neither robot is KOed, no kill happens. If the victim KOs his killer, then the killer dies.If the killer KOs the victim, the victim dies. If one robot is immobilized, they do not die but instead are "incapacitated" and cannot post the following day phase. How a lynch works is that the final person to vote will put their robot in against the robot being lynched. Roles: --ENTRIES-- Badger Thrackerzod DemonOfTomorrow Silverfish Lightning S. Stock Showcases / Re: Badnik96's Stock Scrapyard« on: March 30, 2017, 07:29:02 AM »AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASeriously? Out of any bot design you could of built, why did you build this? It does have a good controlling ability and a good weapon choice [The Razors] , but that front wedge will be ripped off despite its reach and it just lacks the weaponry. Needs more Razors, that all I can say. i built it because i can and because its a joke it kind of works somehow so i showcased it it weighs like 397 973

oh i see what you mean there. you could probably swap those out with some sort of v-shaped plow setup for some added width and help against hs

Stock Showcases / Re: GuldenFlame makes a huge mistake.« on: March 29, 2017, 11:26:45 PM »
now that's something different
i like the concept behind it, i really do. it's super narrow and vulnerable to HS though, so i'm not sure how well it would do in a tournament. You'd probably be better off with a second black battery instead of those wheelguards, iirc most mw popups have 2 blacks 979
