Hit N Run: Excellent Rep. Looks very much like the original.
Scoop: Looks nice! I like how you constructed the scoop. Would have been cool if cardboard brown was an option.
Brute: Another nice rep. A little tall, but that is just me being picky. The drums are a great touch.
S***: Is there a version of this bot I am missing? It doesn't look anything like the rep in the series 1 pictures.
Velocity: Could be a loooooot wider. Not terrible, but could be better. Looks underweight too.
Thunder: Hulk Smash Box! Hulk No Self Right! Gwar!
Creepy Crawly: Muhahahahah. XD
Reaper: Surprisingly good. One of the more destructive bots in the tourney. Bad draw for the first round though... could have gotten far.
Armageddon: GtG is learning. This bot looks skimpy... I don't think there will be much flipping power behind it and it wont wedge well either. Skin could have been better.
Impact: i will say that it is a tad cheap to outfit that bot with those hulking hammers scratch that... you didn't even use tall motorcycle wheels! You cheatsy little hobbitses! :P (I think Impact will win the tourney)
Overdrive: not bad actually! A few colors would have made me love this bot. But, it is a decent rep!
Twister: Motorcycle wheels. Check. Accurate layout. Check. Colors. Check. Realistic amount of damaging weapons. Check. By far my fav rep in this tourney. I hope it does well.

Why 36? It's not exactly the best number for brackets. I'd say 32.
Fine then. I see your 32 and raise you to 64! I'm Sure S.T.C. can handle that...

What about the 24 entries mentioning in the rules? Still taking bots until you get to that plateau?

Yeah. Congrats VB. Excellent matches! Dragonfire, you have earned a ton of respect for completing this tournament. You did so, in a timely organized fashion, most admirable. I hope you had just as much fun running the tourney as we did competing in it. It was a ton of fun and I look forward to entering future tournaments that you host. Excellent work. There were some pretty awesome bots in this. I am impressed. Can we have a grudge match between VB and The bot that Sage was going to enter?

I take back all the horrible things I said about you qwerty. And wow... while I do agree with the consensus that the show was 70% filler and 30% robot combat, that 30% of robot combat was reeeeeeeeealy nice. It has been ages since I have seen bot matches with nice television production values. Slow-mo, sparks, replays, wow wow wow. I would love to know if the science channel got good ratings out of that show to convince the executives to explore future killer robots installments. Worth the watch in my opinion. The final battle had me cheering at my computer screen. Excellent stuff!

Cool, Ill be playing the Baldours game next. Diablo is really fun. Right now im trying to beat The Butcher.
Haha, you got a long way to go. I think I played it daily for two solid months to beat it. Dying in a crowded place is awful. You drop all your stuff. When you respawn back at the town... you have to go back to get your stuff. If there is a ton of baddies still there... good luck. I had to abandon many a good sword and shield because I couldn't fight my way back to them.

Soooooo... can we campaign certain bots? or would that be considered tacky? Maybe start a thread for people to make HOF suggestions? Might be kinda fun for lively debate and I don't really see why people need to write up why they are nominating a bot when majority vote is going to rule over reason anyways.
I guess I got confused... I thought the nominations were going to put the bots into a master list for voting or something. My Bad.

Diablo is really awesome. The perennial Hack and Slash dungeon crawler.
Baldurs Gate is very similar to Diablo.
Myth the Total Codex is real-time strategy like Command and Conquor. (I rather like that game btw, haven't played it in ages)
Baldurs gate and Diablo 2 are your best bets for Dungeon Crawlers after you finish the original Diablo.
If you have a PS2 in the house, Champions of Norrath is also a blast like Diablo. Even more fun in 2 player mode.
