that thwack is like the most irl thing you've made
Naryar's logic: Nope not Irl
SKBT: Ummm...

I lolled

I see no relation in their weaponry and shape, give the LW the same shape and give it a wedge or pushing power or something
the lw did have the same weaponry in the last tournament it didnt work
this is a tactical decision
i know people will adapt their weapon systems so i need to change it up
the lw will push other lws for hours
its running on npc motors
i knew my lw was terrible last time
so i changed it
irl is more about looks but im the number one seed so i need to make it far enough i dont look like a failure

oh and their names rhyme

yeah :dumb)

My LW's, Intoxicated and Baby Shark, also run on NPC motors (on my showcase) And Intoxicated has and axe and can self right and has good ground clearance, But, you know, if you wanna lose... ;)

Are you sure you plugged the battery in the right way and haven't blown it? Do you need to bind the receiver to the transmitter?
Plus, I see no actual battery but that might be just me...
It gives no instructions on the right way to put stuff in, I hope I haven't blown it, but nothing's happened

No Holds Barred will be no fun with all of cheatbot2, people will just spam judge gavels, but apart from that, they all sound fun to me

But I'd have to go with F&S2, just because it was an awesome tournament which I missed out on

Looks nice and has potential, change the skin for a first, the green, black, silver and white don't really go together

(Image removed from quote.)
Nice, would look better with a different skin again, in fact...

852
Looks pretty good, just change out the multi extenders because they don't fit the bot at all.
Thats on the to do list then; but I have something for the lot o' yeh

Like how this is coming on?

Can I ask a favour? Could you tell me whether I'm improving? I'd like to know

I suggest that if you want fiber glass, get Garolite. This stuff is really nice, and pretty cheap to get and easy to find. Look, here's some here: http://www.fingertechrobotics.com/proddetail.php?prod=garolite
Cheers, I'll think that'll be a last resort, the cheap antweight aluminium has caught my eye, perfect size as well
Edit: god I need to get my grammar right
Beware of what alloy it is, some alloys are strong but most you'll find would be better suited as card stock.
The good alloys are 6063, 5052, 2024, and 7075, all of them are strong and light weight, though latter ones are much stronger than the former ones.
I'll check the numbers, thanks for the tip :)

Alreet, I guessed you'd give up after knowing what needs to be done Natster ;)

Right as you all know, many people have attempted Razer, the DSL lads, Wham and the animators that the BBC hired for the RW games.

(Image removed from quote.)

But now I give you, the HereticBlue take on Razer. ;)

(Image removed from quote.)

As you can probably guess... I am VERY chuffed with this!
A massive thanks to my mate who isn't on this forum as he helped me out with the texture for the claw sides!
Yeh, I don't have the software or skills to do any of that, except maybe borders ;)

That Razer is amazing, and I'd say better than the others, great work!

wait, alu? i thought poly and hdpe are better
That's the plan, if it's too heavy I'll go for the other options
Nice drawings.
Thanks  but I've always been a crap drawer, my hands not steady

Could you put up a poll to say do you want to help me? That will show how many people want to help

Why don't you continue this in my thread or Whams rather than opening another one up? I did say I'm after any help I can get if possible.
Well, I'm not really sure it belongs there but lets give it a shot

mcmaster.com is your friend (for aluminum at least, not sure about fiberglass)

also has legendary shipping times
Kk cheers, I think I've found a better deal on ebay, £4.75 for an 8 inch by 8 inch sheet? Hell yeh!

Anyway, I've drawn up some plans:

Anybody Like them?
Or are there improvements you can see?
