I think the way it is now, it is much better to read, than the old forum was. I like the member info placed in the left side. Nice job!
I think the dark background is ok, because in the game the background is dark too. 85

I did not yet figure out how you fixed all this together. I see 6 ztecs and to HP-ztecs (drive), bud I have no clue how yo did this with only two snappers, there must be at least two more. Did you stack them?
I think the battery is stacked, because one is not enough. edit: ok, I saw it now it's the second attachpoint, but this don't explain all. It confuses me. 91

Thanks ACAMS I will try that. In fact, since couple of days I din't use my CCleaner, despite it's my habit to do that quite often, specially after intensive surfing the internet.

During one session on the board I get logged out several times automatically. Does anybody have a explain for this. Is it maybe my Kaspersky AV? Often I get logged out during typing a replay.

Stock Showcases / Cooker's bots« on: May 04, 2008, 05:25:22 PM »Quote from: venko;7490 I can beat this with even my AW bot !!!!!!! Yep! I was prepared for a comment like this from your side. C'mon show me someting that came off your "genious" mind. Enter a contest and get at least third place, otherwise I refuse to grant you with my respect. Got it now? Ooo, sorry Sorrow, I was misstaken on the weight of the redbirds, but at least they are faster and easier to fit. Even tough the RADs have several attachpoints, I have problems somtimes to get them correctly placed without the round end sticking out throu the bottom or the top of the chassis. However i will try to improve this one, it is still far unperfect in many ways. It the first edition I did it in 45 minutes only. Meanwhile for a really good bot I do normaly 5 or 6 editions to get a satisfactory result. Often the last one has nothing in common anymore with the first. 94

The thing with double ender servo was a joke Scrap Daddy. It consists of two stacked servos. I never use custom parts.

It depends how long your bot has to spin around, to kill the other bot in a combat. If this goes closed to 3 minutes, the two pinks will have a hard time. There are actually many bots that cannot stand 3 minutes of hard fighting. But I have to admitt, most of the fights in the tournaments end within the first minute. When they go longer than one minute, it's often because both of the bots have lost most of their weapons and wheels. Moving a little bit back and forth, just to offend beeing counted of, does not require a lot energy.

Redbirds and RADs have the same weight.
Yes, burst or sevo enhanced motors allways do better. I dont' think it is tounament-ready now. I think it can still be improved. 97

This is the problem with the trinity glitch, the bot goes out of control. Therefor it can not be used for AI bots.
The power supply by two pink batts seems to be a bit lean, since Clickbeetle recommands one black batt for two HP-ztecs. 98

Have you seen allready a LW spinner with HP-ztecs for drive?
There are maybe some using HP-ztecs for the weapon. I could do that as well, but then it would be connected by a baseplate anchor. As you know motors on servos do much better, that's why there is a ordinary ztec. 100
