1.In general:
-the 'objects' of an arena are in the gmf.
-the 'dynamics' of an arena are in the py.
 
2.If the compiler will work, you can put any thing in any arena.
(You can also put an arena inside, on top of, or next to another arena. You can make the arena (or all arenas) disappear during the match. Etc....)
 
BTW: I noticed that Phil added some more tweeking instructions to Duck's tutorial on arena making. You might check it out...

That's true.  Someone needs to fix the py so that they avoid the center pit in that arena.

There would have to be some set paratmeters of commands.  After all, you know how some code in 'lethal' stuff and all... Cheaters..:ban_smily:.

Adding to what Joe and Sage noted:
XT, in the lab,
-The exe sees/reads the txt file of components and then creates a slot for the preview pic. If there is no txt, then there will not be a slot in the lab.
-If a slot shows a preview pic,. then there is a preview.bmp, and the txt and the bmp(in that component folder) addresses are correlated. If no pic in the slot, there is no bmp file, and/or the addresses are not correlated..
 
-Once you select that component, then it follows the address to the component folder and gmf file inside.
-If the game crashes when selecting, the exe did not find the gmf file designated in the txt. So either there is no gmf file, and/or the names (txt to gmf) do not match.

There is a geomobject that keeps the bots from entering into the goal, so you need to do gmf surgery to do what you want.

Just drop this file into your 'Arenas' directory.
 
Notes:
1. The balls fall out continuously (instructions for adjustments are in the py).
2. The balls are very damaging (instructions for adjustment are in the py).
 
They are fairly easy to adjust, so anyone can do it (always make a back up).
 
You might explain the last query you posted.....

No, S-32. That was made clear in his first statement.  He's noting that society is addicted to pre-occupational information that keeps us from more content larger themes that are the real basis of a society: such as face-to-face relationships, personal introspection for growth,... and like Rome we make order outside of us(stronger walls), while socially corrupting from the inside out.

That's the one that was tried; Serge got the gmf compiler to work with it, I did the gmf surgery(Restraint handlers).
But no one that I know of ever tried multiple interlaced gmf rings, without any pivot points (Restraint handlers)..... yet.

I am currently sojourning my progenitoral commorancy, or I wood a gitter done by now...

Sorry, guys.  No ropes possible in RA2.
Can't do chains either (more than two links/restraint solvers).

Maybe a gmf with intertwined, bracelet-type rings....*new thought*.
Have to be tested...

LRA2, Sage is modeling what vets do when they lose, and they do lose too. And same with Inf...here post-474.
So follow these vets' examples and learn from your mistakes and/or losses.
